The festival returns to Glynde Place in East Sussex from Friday 3 July to Sunday 5 July 2026, with more than 40 performers now confirmed across the three days.

De La Soul will close the festival on Sunday with what is billed as their only full live band show in the UK in 2026. The appearance will also mark their first return to Glynde since the death of founding member David ‘Trugoy the Dove’ Jolicoeur in 2023, adding extra poignancy to their headline set.

For the first time, Love Supreme will host three full days of main stage programming, with a different headliner each night. The expanded bill means more than 40 performers are now on the poster for 2026, spanning US and UK jazz, soul, R&B and hip‑hop.

Friday is topped by London collective Ezra Collective, who will present their Temple Of Joy concept after previously citing their 2016 Love Supreme debut as a career breakthrough.

Saturday’s headline set goes to multi‑award‑winning British rapper and songwriter Loyle Carner, whose jazz‑infused hip‑hop follows a high‑profile 2025 that included a Glastonbury Other Stage headline slot and four sold‑out nights at Brixton Academy.

On Sunday, along with De La Soul, day‑split information confirms Free Nationals, Gabrielle, Sister Sledge and Samara Joy among the final day names, making for an exciting conclusion to the jazz-fuelled festival.

Love Supreme takes place at Glynde Place on the edge of the South Downs, a rural site in East Sussex that has hosted the festival since its launch in 2013. The 2026 edition runs from 3-5 July and continues the event’s focus on a mix of large‑scale outdoor stages and more intimate spaces.

Beyond the music, this year’s festival will feature a new restaurant, wellness and yoga sessions, an expanded Kids area, two Supremium VIP zones and the Jazz Lounge, which will host artist interviews, talks and screenings. The Bands & Voices and Blue In Green areas return with cabaret, spoken word, swing dance lessons and late‑night performances in the nearby woodland.

Richard Ashcroft has been announced as the headliner for Rock N’ Roll Circus 2026 in Sheffield, leading a bill that also features The Fratellis and Cast. The exciting event is the last day of the 4-day festival, taking place at the Don Valley Bowl on Sunday, 30th August 2026.

Now a staple of the city’s live calendar, Rock N’ Roll Circus has quickly grown from a novel concept into a bank holiday tradition, drawing fans from across the UK for its blend of big-name acts and left-field entertainment. The 2026 edition promises to build on this reputation with upgraded production, expanded bar and food offerings, and more interactive spaces designed to keep the energy high from doors open to curfew. For Sheffield, it underlines Don Valley Bowl’s status as one of the north’s key outdoor music destinations.

What sets Rock N’ Roll Circus apart is the way it merges world-class performances with a visually striking circus atmosphere. Attendees can experience live music under a huge big top, surrounded by aerial performers, acrobats, fire-breathers and roaming street acts that transform the site into a surreal, immersive playground. Between sets, festival-goers can wander through installations, grab a drink at themed bars or catch pop-up performances, ensuring that there are no lulls in the day and that the spectacle extends far beyond the main stage.

As the ex-frontman of Britpop legends The Verve, Richard Ashcroft brings an iconic pedigree to the lineup. Best known for anthems like “Bittersweet Symphony” and “The Drugs Don’t Work,” his solo catalogue has cemented him as one of Britain’s most enduring songwriters, able to shift from widescreen euphoria to intimate confessionals with ease. His live shows are renowned for their emotional heft and rousing delivery, promising a headline set that weaves together Verve classics, solo staples and newer material for a multi-generational crowd.

The Fratellis will take the stage as main support, adding their vibrant indie-rock energy to the night. Celebrating 20 years of their debut album ‘Costello Music’, they’re primed for a set packed with festival-ready singalongs like “Chelsea Dagger” and “Henrietta,” the kind of choruses built for mass, beer-in-the-air catharsis.

Also on the bill, Cast keep the spirit of ’90s Britpop alive with favourites such as “Walkaway” and “Alright,” ensuring that long-time fans of the era are as well served as younger attendees discovering these songs for the first time.

The Don Valley Bowl will once again host the Circus, with clear instructions for customer entry, gate times and site layout to be provided ahead of the event. The festival maintains an all-ages policy, allowing under-14s to attend with an accompanying adult, while children under five can enter for free, reinforcing its reputation as a family-friendly weekender. Attendees are advised to plan travel carefully, as there is no parking on site, making public transport, walking, ride-shares or dedicated shuttle services the most practical options for getting to and from the Big Top in style.

Tickets go on sale this Friday. Presale sign up is available here.

The Cornwall-based music festival, Boardmasters has released its first wave of artists for the 4-day event next summer. The festival takes place from July 7 to July 11 and brings music lovers from all over to Watergate Bay on the Cornish coast. The first headliners have been announced as British grime artist Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr, known more commonly as Stormzy and electronic dance duo Saul Milton and Will Kennard, otherwise called Chase & Status.

Both acts are storming the music industry within their respective genres with multiple BBC, BRIT and DJ awards between them. With hundreds of more acts still to be announced, the festival caters to all music tastes booking indie, pop, rock and dance artists alike. Stormzy has become a household name in the music industry, gracing his way through a wide span of music genres like a knife through butter. He rose to fame through his Wicked Skengman series of freestyles over classic grime beats going on to win multiple awards such as a MOBO in 2014 and British Album of The Year at the BRITs amongst others.

Party starters, Chase and Status released their latest album 2 Ruff Vol. 1 on October 27 this year. The album included their popular single ‘Badadan’ featuring Bou and Flowdan which came out earlier this year in July.

The duo have also collaborated with UK dance vocalist, Becky Hill on their joint single ‘Disconnect’. Hill will be playing her own set at Boardmasters next summer. The singer is known for a multitude of collaborations on tracks such as ‘Afterglow’ with Wilkinson, ‘Gecko’ with Oliver Heldens and ‘Crazy What Love Can Do’ with David Guetta.

Other dance artists who will be on the bill include the experimental, electronic duo Bicep, who originate from Belfast, Northern Ireland. They have been hailed by the BBC as “one of the biggest names in UK dance” and have had music debuting at number two on the UK Official Albums Chart and number one on the UK Official Vinyl Albums. This led to two BRIT Award nominations.

Last year the headliners included Lorde, Liam Gallagher and Florence and The Machine. Previous years have seen acts such as The Chemical Brothers, Ed Sheeran, Calvin Harris and Two Door Cinema Club. However some years, the festival had to be cancelled due to poor weather and COVID-19.

The festival was founded in 1981 as a surfing competition and became a home for new music acts in 2005, with festival goers camping at Watergate Bay. The event now consists of surfing and skateboarding competitions happening in and around the town of Newquay and artists playing on stages overlooking the sea. There is currently a maximum capacity of 53,000 surf and music enthusiasts who attend each year. With plenty more artists still to be announced, this festival is one not to miss.

Black Country, New Road have been announced as the headliners for the first full-scale return of Hackney’s Visions Festival. Set to take place on Saturday 23rd July, the festival will see a whole host of bands play across the festival’s 5 venues: Hackney Church, Round Chapel, Oslo, Chats Palace, and Paper Dress Vintage. This marks the band’s first gig announcement since the departure of the lead vocalist, Isaac Wood, and then the cancellation of their extensive UK tour that would have been underway now. You can check out full line-up information, as well as look into getting yourself tickets to the festival, here.

After topping our list for 2021’s album of the year with For The First Time, and then releasing another album this February, Ants From Up There, (that honestly might be a contender this time around) things were looking up for the band. But, due to a perfectly justifiable combination of reasons regarding mental health, Wood released an intimate statement on the band’s socials explaining his situation. Despite the band’s claims that they would continue to make music and tour as Black Country, New Road, many fans were left worried about their future. Especially when you keep the cancelled tour in mind. Now, however, some of that tension may have been lightened as they seem to be keeping to their word and getting back on the scene. As of yet, it is unclear as to whether they will be touring as a 6-piece, or try and find a new member to fill the gaps; but by the looks of things, a 6-piece will be the way for a while.

We have some news to share concerning the future of the band. Please read on for information on upcoming shows, but it seems right to pass on this message from Isaac first pic.twitter.com/3HHmSwBDQj

As well as BC,NR the line-up seems perfect for those after a day of counter-culture. Niger based songwriter Mdou Moctar will also be heading to Hackney to perform his own interpretations of Tuareg guitar music. French DJ Oklou brings her special blend of ambience and harsh French house. And Dublin newcomer For Those I Love, whose debut album received significant critical acclaim last year will also join the line-up. This is also, only the first wave of artists to be announced for the festival, so watch this space for more updates on line-up news.

While this is only a 1-day festival, the festival has also announced a “special pre-party on 22nd July at Round Chapel, co-headlined by Yumi Zouma and Far Caspian, plus more special guests to be announced”. It’s an interesting idea to announce a single day festival… that is in conjunction with another unrelated party the day before the festival… at one of the festival’s venues… then still call it a 1-day festival. But who am I to judge, more music for us.

The Reading & Leeds Festivals are all set to go for 2022, with part of the line-up ready to be announced next Wednesday (8th December). The dual festivals are one of Britain’s most popular and well-known, with Reading being the world’s oldest popular music festival that’s still in operation today. Without giving too much away, festival director Melvin Benn has said that “three of next year’s six headliners are in place”, describing them simply by saying “some of them have guitars”, and only one of the acts booked have headlined at the event before.

The festivals, which were cancelled back in 2020 due to the pandemic, have seen a whole host of famous names in their line-up, with some of the most influential people in the business appearing on stage. Last year saw host to the likes of Liam Gallagher, Biffy Clyro, Stormzy, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Disclosure and Post Malone.

Despite some cancellations last year due to covid travel restrictions (namely Queens of the Stone Age and Machine Gun Kelly), Benn has said that this year’s line-up will not be influenced by this, pointing out that keeping the festivals relevant in their choices was much more important. NME reported him as saying “What we want to do is book a relevant festival every year, and not just rebook the acts who have cancelled .… We will always intend to be relevant to an incredible audience. We don’t rest on our laurels, we don’t book for the sake of booking, we book for the sake of what works for our audience. The direction moves wherever music goes.“

Despite this, the festivals have on occasion re-used acts that couldn’t make it one year, namely Liam Gallagher and Stormzy’s return as 2021 headliners after being due for the cancelled 2020 event. Also, hopes are high for a certain indie-favourite music group making an appearance. Rumours are up that Arctic Monkeys may be among the set-list, what with having a space in their schedule just around the time of the August bank holiday when the event takes place. They’ve also recently announced their place in a number of European festivals as well as their own headline sets. Primed for a new follow-up to their 2018 album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, hopes are up that they may make Reading & Leeds another part of their activity next year. On this possibility, Benn has stated that “Arctic Monkeys are a law unto themselves and when they decide next to play live is beyond me, if I’m honest”.

For those interested in one of the biggest musical events of the year, tickets are due for general sale next Friday 10th December and both camping and day trip options will be on offer. For those wanting a bit more info about tickets (or just about anything to do with the festivals), you can look at the official website here. So if you have next August 26th-28th free, maybe consider getting yourself a tent and coming down to watch some of your favourite bands back in action!

The festival has been teasing the lineup announcement throughout the beginning of June, revealing just a couple of letters on their poster each day.
