OASIS to launch pop-up stores in the UK and Ireland ahead of reunion tour

Oasis formed back in 1991 in Manchester, releasing their debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ in 1994, which became one of the fastest-selling debut albums in the UK at the time. It has also recently returned to the top UK album charts, celebrating 30 years. Oasis has released seven albums with eight UK number one singles, including songs ‘Some Might Say’, ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’, ‘All Around The World’, and ‘Go Let It Out’. The band’s other well-known albums are ‘Be Here Now’, ‘Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants’, ‘Heathen Chemistry’, ‘Don’t Believe The Truth’, ‘Dig Out Your Soul’, and their most popular album, ‘Morning Glory’ which is the fifth best-selling album of all time in the UK. ‘Morning Glory’ includes their massive hit ‘Wonderwall’, their number one most popular song on Spotify.   

The band has remastered their songs and is reuniting for their world tour ‘Oasis Live ‘25’. The tour will journey back to the beginning of their career with dedicated fans, including a mix of their biggest hits, fan favorites, with songs across different albums. Oasis will kick off their tour this summer in the UK and Ireland with shows in Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin, before heading to Canada and North America, where they will perform in Toronto, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and Chicago. The band plans to return to London for two more nights in September and will continue in Japan, Australia, Argentina, and end in Brazil.

Addison Rae blew up on TikTok during the Covid quarantining back in 2020, posting daily with content houses, and now has a platform of more than 88 million fans. She released her first single ‘Obsessed’ in 2021; however, she was not taken seriously in the music scene until last year when she collaborated with the popular English singer-songwriter Charli XCX on her song ‘Von dutch’ from her award-winning album, ‘Brat’. Addison also released her first single last year from her debut album titled ‘Diet Pepsi’, which peaked in the top 10 spots on the UK Singles Chart. The singer’s other hit singles from ‘Addison’ included ‘Aquamarine’, ‘High Fashion’, ‘Headphones On’, and ‘Fame is a Gun’.   

The self-titled album draws inspiration from late 90s and early 2000s pop music. Addison described her debut release through an instagram post as ‘A mirror. A deep desperation and desire to understand myself better’. She had reinvented herself as Gen-Z’s pop princess, bringing back early 2000s culture and fashion. The album has currently peaked at the number two spot in the UK and consists of 12 tracks, including her hit singles and songs ‘Summer Forever’, ‘In The Rain’, ‘New York’, and ‘Money is Everything’.

Addison Rae also recently made her debut UK appearance last week in London at The Box nightclub in Soho. She went full burlesque for this performance with elaborate costume changes and choreography, as the singer also has a dancing background, competing from a very young age. She celebrated her album release with a last-minute move deciding to perform just ten minutes after landing in London.

As far as the setlist goes, Minogue hints that fans can expect to hear her most iconic hits from Tension and Tension II, alongside memorable tracks from her five decade career.

Tickets for the Tension 2025 Tour will be available for presale on September 25 at 10am BST before general sale goes ahead September 27.

To welcome the commencement of Minogue’s Tension II and the Tension 2025 Tour, the Australian icon released a music video for ‘Lights Camera Action’, the lead single for Tension II, as fans rushed to get their tickets for the upcoming tour.

The Tension Tour announcement follows the huge success of Minogue’s Las Vegas residency, and her legendary Hyde Park show earlier this summer. Following this, it’s ‘In Your Eyes’ and best interest to get tickets for Minogue’s biggest and most iconic tour yet.
