Lana’s tour had a unique stage design, inspired by a Southern Gothic house incorporating multiple levels, windows, a porch swing, flickering porch lights, and holograms. The set transformed throughout her performance with flowers growing on the structure and flames erupting from the house. The lighting and visual elements were rooted in her past albums and helped to enhance the mood and atmosphere.

While the stage design was elaborate, Lana herself had a minimalistic approach to her stage presence and relied heavily on the focus of her powerful and incredible vocals. She engaged with her fans, thanking them for their loyalty, as well as acknowledging a fan letter someone wrote for Lana that she then posted on Instagram.   

Lana Del Ray’s set list included songs from a mix of albums such as ‘Ultraviolence‘, ‘Video Games’, ‘Young and Beautiful’, ‘Summertime Sadness’, ‘Born to Die’, ‘Ride’, and ‘Henry, come on’, her newest song released in April along with ‘Bluebird‘. The singer also covered John Denver’s song ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’.

Throughout her UK and Ireland tour, Lana has three different openers including London Grammar, BANKS, and Addison Rae. During the London performances at Wembley Stadium, her opener, Addison, joined Lana on stage both nights to sing her song ‘Diet Pepsi’ together.

Lana Del Ray is set to have an upcoming album that was originally set to release in May, however, she changed the title to ‘The Right Person Will Stay’ with an upcoming release date not announced yet. Her lead single on the album, ‘Henry, come on‘, is on the Global Spotify Charts with over 3 million streams. Lana is headlining the Hinterland Music Festival in Iowa, US, on August 3 alongside artists The Maríes, Gigi Perez, Role Model, Kacey Musgraves, and Tyler The Creator. 

The singer also performed ‘Dance The Night’, her song she made for the award-winning movie, Barbie, where she featured as Mermaid Barbie alongside Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling. Dua Lipa’s opening acts in London included Dove Cameron and Alessi Rose.

Dua Lipa released her most recent album, ‘Radical Optimism’, last year, which debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 Chart and number one on the UK Album Chart. Her lead single from the album ‘Houdini’ topped the charts in several countries. She released her first self-titled studio album, ‘Dua Lipa’, in 2017, as well as ‘Future Nostalgia’ in 2020. ‘Future Nostalgia’ gained her significant success and recognition, topping the charts in 16 countries and became one of the best-selling albums globally.  Her two singles off that album, ‘Don’t Start Now’ and ‘Levitating’, both peaked at the number two spot on Billboard and are in her top five most popular songs on Spotify. Dua Lipa set the record for the longest-charting song by a woman with ‘Levitating’ running for 77 weeks straight.       

During her Wembley performances, Dua Lipa brought out special guest appearances both nights. On night one, June 20, she brought out the English band, Jamiroquai, performing a duet together of their hit song, ‘Virtual Insanity’. On night two, she surprised fans by bringing out popular English singer, Charli XCX, with an announcement saying “the biggest brat I have ever known”. The two sang Charli’s hit song, ‘360’, together.

The show had incredible crowd engagement with Dua interacting with the audience, confetti, and balloon drops, and ended the night with fireworks. Throughout the night, Dua had many outfit changes, including a royal blue sequin set with a blue fur cover that revealed the UK flag.

Dua Lipa has been on tour for her ‘Radical Optimism’ album, which started in Asia, Australia and Europe with shows in Melbourne, Sydney, Paris, Amsterdam, and Milan. She is currently in the UK with upcoming shows in Liverpool and Dublin before heading to North America in September, performing in Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, New York, and ending in Seattle. Recently sharing a trailer for the tour to their YouTube Channel, the ‘How You Like That’ singers last concert dates back to 2023 during their Born Pink World Tour, in support of their album with the same name.

In her 2024 interview with ELLE, member of the band Lisa reassured fans that them going separate ways for a little bit didn’t mean the end of the band, she said: “Of course we’re continuing, for sure. We’re so proud of BLACKPINK, and I love BLACKPINK. It is not just because of our fans, it’s for ourselves. There was no doubt. This is our life.”

The girl band will make history as being the first K-Pop group to ever play the legendary stadium. The news come just a week after member Jisoo released her debut mini-album ‘Amortage‘, whilst fellow members Jennie is set to release hers ‘Ruby’ on March 7, Lisa will also share her solo album ‘Alter Ego’ on February 28 and recently released a collaboration single alongside RAYE and Doja Cat called ‘Born Again’. Lastly, Rosé released her solo album back in December called ‘Rosie’ whilst also releasing popular single with Bruno Mars ‘APT’.

The famous K-Pop band BLACKPINK will be playing Wembley Stadium on August 15 of this year.

The UK and Ireland tour 2025 will follow the singer’s successful 2024 festival appearances, including Reading & Leeds. Lana hasn’t done a tour in the UK since 2017 when she promoted her fifth studio album ‘Lust For Life’. The tour will mark her first major stadium shows in the region, with performances scheduled at iconic venues like Cardiff’s Principality Stadium, Glasgow’s Hampden Park, Dublin’s Aviva Stadium, Liverpool’s Anfield, and London’s Wembley Stadium. The tour kicks off on June 23, 2025, and concludes on July 4, 2025​.

Some fans have voiced concerns about the prices, noting that even restricted-view seats range from £100 to £120, depending on the venue, often comparing it to the Taylor Swift Eras tour. Taylor Swift’s tour featured an extensive production with elaborate staging, costumes, and a multi-hour setlist, leading to higher ticket pricing. In contrast, Lana Del Rey’s tour, while high-profile, focuses on a more intimate, atmospheric performance style, which may contribute to slightly lower base ticket costs but still faces criticism for restricted-view pricing. Lana Del Rey’s tickets remain generally accessible but are more polarizing due to pricing disparities between venues. Lana hasn’t responded to the backlash.

Prior to announcing this tour, Lana said in May 2024: “I’ve decided not to do a stadium tour this year because I want to go to McCreary County in Kentucky, I want to go meet the people. I want to say hi and have breakfast with them. It’s not always about picking up my money at the stadiums.”

Similarly to this instance, the singer has also decided to rename her upcoming album ‘Lasso‘ to ‘The Right Person Will Stay‘, which is currently set to be released in May 2025 and which the tour will be in support of.

Lana is also set to perform at Anfield Stadium as part of her UK and Ireland tour, further deepening her bond with Liverpool. The singer has developed a strong connection with Liverpool through her admiration for the city’s cultural heritage, particularly its musical and football traditions. She recorded a poignant a cappella version of ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone‘, the iconic anthem of Liverpool FC, for a documentary about the club.

Gallagher’s solo set at Wembley was his first appearance on-stage since Oasis announced their reunion with a 2025 tour, more than fifteen years since their disbandment. It is clear Gallagher was attempting to hit the heart-strings of nostalgic Oasis fans by performing a three-song setlist from the band’s iconic 1994 release ‘Definitely Maybe’, with a setlist comprised of ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes and Alcohol’.

 As the 96,000 attendees witnessed the performance and many of us tuned in at home, fans of the Oasis frontman have criticised the performance, questioning the extortionate amounts of money they had spent to see the band on their upcoming tour, with some fans threatening to put their tickets up for re-sale.

 It is understandable that many fans have been left disheartened after the performance, especially given the trials needed to buy an Oasis ticket alongside Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing.

 This once in a lifetime tour proves the timelessness of Oasis’ music for many generations. However, its existence highlights the necessary sonic shifts needed for a band, who are no longer performing in their twenties, to capture a moment in 1990s Britpop in 2024 and 2025. Observers and critics alike need to view Gallagher’s latest performance at Wembley as a clever and well-spirited attempt to excite fans awaiting the tour.

In true Liam Gallagher spirit, the singer failed to submit to such negative comments and decided to clap back at his critics online.

In a post on social media platform X, Gallagher slammed the “IMPOSTERS” who bashed his performance, claiming they could not be “real fans”, if they did not appreciate his “ANGELIC TONES”.

Gallagher has used this spout of negativity to reframe expectations ahead of Oasis’ upcoming tour, suggesting such critics were not welcome at their shows by sarcastically offering to take their tickets off their hands for them.

Other fans have shown their support for Gallagher, inferring the TV production utilised for the fight did not successfully capture the true ambience present at a Liam Gallagher gig.

Gallagher’s response to such criticisms perhaps indicates an intention for artists to protect their authentic artistry and remain unscathed from unwarranted negativity. Despite the controversy of Gallagher’s latest performance, the 2025 Oasis tour remains one of the most sought after gigs in the twenty-first century.

The news shows will hit Wembley on 27 September and 28 September. This will bring the total number of Wembley sets on the tour to five,  with Oasis playing them all in a six night run between September 25 and September 30.

The fallout continues from the band’s lightning-fast ticket sell-out for next year’s Oasis Live ’25 UK and Ireland tour. Eager fans found themselves stuck in online queues for hours, only to be booted out by Ticketmaster’s system, which mistook them for bots. And more surprise awaited fans who did manage to secure a spot in line, as dynamic pricing saw prices skyrocket with the demand surge. Resale sites also took advantage, posting some tickets for several thousands pounds.

An Oasis press release said: “As a small step towards making amends for the situation, a special invitation only ballot ticket sale strategy has been devised for these two shows. Applications to join the ballot will be opened first to the many fans who were unsuccessful in the initial sale with Ticketmaster.” However, no further details have been released about how the ballot will be organised or how fans can access it.

After the Gallagher brothers themselves came in for criticism from fans for cynical ticket pricing, Oasis management attempted to distance the musicians from the scandal, saying: “It needs to be made clear that Oasis leave decisions on ticketing and pricing entirely to their promoters and management, and at no time had ay awareness that dynamic pricing was going to be used.”

“While prior meetings between promoters, Ticketmaster and the band’s management resulted in a positive ticket sale strategy, which would be a fair experience for fans, including dynamic ticketing to help keep general ticket prices down as well as reduce touting, the execution of the plan failed to meet expectations,” the band’s press release continued.

Hundreds of fans took their complaints to the UK’s Advertising Standards Agency, and the UK government has now announced a probe into the practice of dynamic pricing and ticketing monopolies. Dynamic pricing, which is legal in the UK, involves businesses either lowering or raising prices based on factors such as real-time website traffic, web users’ browsing history, and fluctuating supply.

Ticketmaster says that promoters are responsible for setting ticket prices. In this case and with many other high-profile music events, prices are set by promoter LiveNation, which is owned by the same company as Ticketmaster.

Speaking on the announcement of this mammoth per and her Glastonbury performance the British singer said that “There couldn’t be a better time to share this with you all! I am still flying high from the magic of headlining the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury this weekend, and I am absolutely thrilled to announce I’ll be playing Wembley Stadium this time next year.”

Dua Lipa is also set to perform dates across Asia later this year as well as another huge show in the UK as she is playing a one time concert at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall in October 2024. The English-Albanian singer is also performing at various festivals during the rest of the summer including Open’er festival Poland, Rock Werchter in Belgium, Mad Cool Festival in Madrid, Portugal’s NOS Alive Festival and Austin City Limits.

This announcement follows her headline set of Glastonbury’s Pyramid stage on the 28th of June which has been widely praised for being an incredible performance. During the set she brought out Tame Impala’s Kevin Parker onto the stage at Worthy farm to perform a rendition of the Australian artist’s hit song ‘The Less I Know The Better’. The two collaborated on Lipa’s last album ‘Radical Optimism’ and they also performed the song ‘Houdini’ together.

As part of the announcement Dua has partnered up with O2 to bring back O2’s “Walk Ad” campaign to promote O2’s exclusive presale for Lipa’s massive upcoming performance at Wembley next year. O2 customers can get early access to tickets for the show via the O2 priority app from 10am BST on Wednesday the 10th of July, which is 2 days before general sale begins. The video for the campaign was filmed by British director Daniel Wolfe and was shot in the seaside towns of Broadstairs and Margate on the Kent coast and the video sees Dua and her dancers on the beach ready for her performance at Wembley.

Springsteen revealed the news on his Instagram. The 74-year-old megastar, who has earned 20 Grammy Awards and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, said in a caption: “Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band delivered “the greatest show on earth” (Billboard) across Europe this past summer, and they’ll make a triumphant return to the continent in 2024 with a just-announced 22-show stadium run.” 

Fans of the megastar flooded the comments with their buzzing excitement. One person wrote: “Great news! Thanks so much my musical father!”, and another person said in tongue and cheek: “The hope I needed in my life but I also have no money.”  

Last month, Springsteen revealed that he was recovering from ulcer disease, forcing him and the E Street Band to postpone and reschedule certain dates of the tour. Springsteen said: “Thanks to all my friends and fans for your good wishes, encouragement, and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year.” 

The world tour sees the rock band and Springsteen perform various hit songs, including “Because the Night” and “Glory Days”, whilst also performing tracks from the 2020 album Letter to You and 2022 record Only the Strong Survive.  

The 2020 LP is Springsteen’s twentieth studio album and became an instant success among the masses and critics. The album topped the charts in over 14 countries, including the UK, which ended on the 2020 year-end chart performance at number 31. The record, which features hit singles “Ghosts” and the album title, received rave reviews from numerous publications such as The Independent, who gave the album five stars and said that it “comes as close to the electricity of live music as it gets.”

Meanwhile, the 2022 album, Only the Strong Survive, was also a smash success, peaking at number two on the UK Albums Chart and entering the top 10 on the US Billboard 200. The album went on to sell over 60 thousand copies in the UK, certifying the record as Silver.

After only recently completing a sold-out 43-date arena tour in 2021, and two special One Night Only shows in New York and London this year, the highly anticipated tour in support of his new album Harry’s House will allow fans to access multiple nights in major cities across the globe turning iconic venues into Harry’s House. The 2023 European leg will also be Harry’s first full stadium outing in the region, as well as a great chance to catch British indie newcomers Wet Leg thrive in a well-deserved venue of these sizes.

The last weekend also saw Styles dominating the stage at the MTV VMAs. The annual event was held last Sunday (August 28^th) and saw the likes of LL Cool J, Nicki Minaj and rapper Jack Harlow hosting. Styles accepted the coveted Album Of The Year accolade via a pre-recorded message that spoke, “I’m sorry I can’t be there with you tonight, I hope you’re having a wonderful evening, and thank you so much.” Before coming back to conclude, “I know this is a fan-voted award. I would like to say thank you to all my fans who voted, I wouldn’t be holding this if it wasn’t for you.” The event recently caught some flack after Harlow and Italian Eurovision band Måneskin pulled out of performances at Reading and Leeds Festival to perform at the ceremony.

The talented drummer tragically passed in March of this year aged 50; a cause of death is yet to be announced. His band mates were left “devastated” by his passing and all upcoming Foo Fighters shows were cancelled. Three months later, the band, along with the Hawkins Family, announced two tribute concerts to celebrate his life and work. The first of which will take place at Wembley Stadium in London on 3rd September, followed by a show in Los Angeles at the Kia Forum on 27th September.

The show will support two charities selected by the Hawkins Family. The first, Music Support, helps those who work in music and live events affected by mental ill-health and/or addiction. The concert will also provide funding to MusiCares, which provides a “safety net of critical assistance for music people in times of need”

The band also announced that they will be streaming the events live to those in the UK and US. The London show will be streamed on Saturday 3rd September at 4.30pm on MTV YouTube Channels (Globally) and Pluto TV (Internationally) along with Paramount +. Bob Bakish, president and CEO at Paramount said, “Music is a powerful connector, and we are honoured to commemorate Taylor Hawkins’ enduring legacy”. Paramount are set to present the entire concert live. The presentation has bn directed by Joel Gallen and Produced by Emer Patten at EP-PIC Films & Creative. The Wembley Stadium show will be available to stream live and on demand across Paramount’s streaming and digital platforms, including some special editions. CBS Television Network will broadcast an hour-long version of the on Saturday 3rd September  and MTV will offer air a one-hour special across its channels around the world, followed by an extended two-hour special that will air globally in September.

Taylor’s success behind the kit leaves a lasting legacy. He recorded nine studio albums with Foo Fighters and was the touring drummer for Sass Jordan and Alanis Morissette. He was voted Best Rock Drummer by drumming magazine Rhythm twice and was inducted, alongside his bandmates, into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His final performance with the Foo Fighters Lollapalooza Argentina festival was on March 20th. The following month, Foo Fighters won three Grammy awards. 

He and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl had a special bond, which Dave wrote about in his 2021 memoir, The Storyteller, he wrote: “Upon first meeting, our bond was immediate, and we grew closer with every day, every song, every note that we ever played together,” “I am not afraid to say that our chance meeting was a kind of love at first sight, igniting a musical ‘twin flame’ that still burns to this day. Together, we have become an unstoppable duo, onstage and off, in pursuit of any and all adventure we can find.”
