The website offers which gives access to in-depth information on the Bristol and Bath music scene is being described as “a location-based digital museum project taking you on a musical journey through Bristol and Bath” Users can also access the musical history of whichever city they’re in, including information about historical venues.

In conversation with the BBC, Ben from Crack Magazine, stated that “people can walk around the cities and unlock amazing stories; it takes the idea of a museum out of four walls”. This tour, as stated on Instagram, is achieved by “250+ pins” which roam from Bath to Bristol “all with amazing content attached to them”.

Amongst the list of musical talents from Bristol and Bath that the app celebrates are Portishead, Tears For Fears, Gabrielle Aplin and IDLES. It has been made apparent that Portishead can even be seen revealing their memories from recording Dummy – their first album. The recording took place in Bristol.

Yesterday, Yungblud shared some very exciting news with his fans: Later this year, he will be going on a virtual tour which he is calling ‘The Weird Time Of Life Tour’. Given the current situation surrounding Covid-19, it is not possible for artists to perform live; many are hoping that next year it will be safe, while some, like Yungblud, are adapting.

For those who aren’t sure what a virtual tour is – and since it’s the first one to take place – the artist shared a video explaining everything. He began by saying, ” ‘Ello, what’s goin’ on? I just wanted to clear up any confusion…it’s quite a confusing time. What the fuck is a digital tour?”

It was confirmed that fans who attend will hear songs from the new album ‘Weird’, they’ll be able to attend regardless of the city they live in, and can purchase tickets for as many different shows as they like. Yungblud’s reason for running this tour is because he enjoys performing live, connecting with fans, and experiencing lots of different cultures.

General sale tickets will go on sale this Friday, 2nd October, at 5pm while the pre-sale will open at 1pm on 1st October for those who pre-order ‘Weird’ before 9.30am the same day. The singer also revealed that tickets will cost just $5 each. But, there will still be a limited number of tickets available, just like a real live-show.
