<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">In a recent interview with <a href="https://www.mojo4music.com/magazine/latest-issues/mojo-335-october-2021-robert-plant-and-alison-krauss/" target="_blank">MOJO</a>, he commented about the release and working with Krauss again: <em>“The good thing about Alison and I is that we’re a couple of kindred spirits&#8221;.</em></span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">He also commented about heritage bands: &#8220;<em>Most musicians form a band, then they stay in the band until it’s over – 20 years, 30 years, 50 years, whatever it is – and it starts to look sadly decrepit. It’s like people hanging onto a life raft, or staying in a comfortable place.”</em> He didn&#8217;t want to stay in the group for decades and decided to move forward making his music. </span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">“<em>For the two of us, nothing was written in blood. We were ready to do something new and previously knew how good it was, so join us again. You can see where you are going. You have nothing to lose&#8221;</em> Plant commented on working with Krauss. <em>Raise The Roof</em> is the pair second release and is due on November 19th. You can pre-order the album <a href="https://plantkrauss.lnk.to/RaiseTheRoof" target="_blank">here</a>.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Led Zeppelin split up in 1980 after drummer John &#8216;Bonzo&#8217; Bonham died. Since then, the band reunited on several occasions, but only for one-off gigs. The latest one had happened in 2007 in London as a <a href="https://ultimateclassicrock.com/why-led-zeppelin-wont-reunite/#:~:text=10%20More%20Years%20Gone%3A%20Why,Was%20Led%20Zeppelin's%20Last%20Stand&amp;text=On%20Dec.,to%20be%20a%20new%20beginning." target="_blank">tribute to Atlantic Records</a> founder Ahmet Ertegun.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Asked about another reunion, Plant <a href="https://www.list.co.uk/article/129027-robert-plant-knows-hell-never-escape-led-zeppelin-reunion-questions/" target="_blank">commented:</a> &#8220;<em>We&#8217;re 41 years into it now. It&#8217;s a very charming question, and it comes in all languages! but the conversation doesn&#8217;t really go now, because that spaceship has [departed].</em>&#8220;</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">Commenting about the album </span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true"><a href="https://music.mxdwn.com/2007/08/03/news/plant-and-krauss-are-iraising-sandi/" target="_blank">Raising Sand</a> </span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">he added</span><em><span data-preserver-spaces="true">: &#8220;</span></em><span data-preserver-spaces="true"><em>It&#8217;s a miracle, this album. It&#8217;s as old as it is new – a couple of people at a certain time in their lives, doing something that neither of them expected. It&#8217;s clean&#8221;</em>.</span></p>
<p><span data-preserver-spaces="true">&#8220;<em>There&#8217;s no going back, no going forward, it&#8217;s just, &#8216;This is it, today!&#8217; that&#8217;s such a relief for me, and for Alison, too</em>&#8221; Robert Pant added at the end.</span></p>
