The three shows in July will be their biggest headline shows so far. They’ll start at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl on July 8 before heading to Leeds’ Millennium Square and then performing in London at Alexandra Palace Park on July 10.

The band are currently on their European headline tour and are set to play UK shows next month. They’ll start with a show at London’s Royal Albert Hall on November 13 before visiting, Liverpool, Nottingham, Norwich, and Portsmouth, before finishing in Cardiff on November 21. After this, they’ll go to Ireland to perform some shows.

November 20 – Portsmouth – Guildhall

November 21 – Cardiff – University Great Hall

Their rise to fame began in 2021 with their single ‘Chaise Longue’, which went viral due to an infectious mix of humour and post-punk attitude.

Follow-up singles included ‘Wet Dream’ and ‘Too Late Now’, which were described as offbeat pop anthems that resonated across radio and streaming platforms.

In 2022, Wet Leg released their self-titled debut album ‘Wet Leg’, which debuted at number one on the UK album charts.

This will include four outdoor concerts and will see the band start June 17 at Delmare Forest in Northwich before heading to Scarborough, Halifax, and ending June 23 at Canons Marsh Amphitheatre in Bristol.

The announcement comes after the band recently completed a UK arena tour in support of their new album ‘Never/Know’.

The Kooks are also due to perform at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2026, alongside the likes of The Cure, Lewis Capaldi, Calvin Harris, Sex Pistols. Other artists performing over the weekend on June 18-21 at Seaclose Park include The Last Dinner Party, Wet Leg, and Tom Grennan.

Their debut album ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ released in 2006 became an instant classic, achieving quadruple platinum status in the UK.

Following their breakthrough, the band released ‘Konk’ which debuted at number one on the UK Albums Charts.

Over the years, The Kooks have evolved their sound, exploring funk, soul, and electronic sounds in albums like ‘Listen‘ (released in 2014, and ’10 Tracks to Echo in the Dark’ (released in 2022).

In 2021, The Kooks celebrated the 15th anniversary of their debut album with a sold-out UK tour, performing at venues such as London’s Brixton Academy.

Earlier this year, the band embarked on their biggest-ever UK arena tour in support of their seventh studio album ‘Never/Know’. The run included major stops in Manchester, Cardiff, Newcastle, Birmingham, and Brighton, concluding with a headline show at London’s O2 Arena.

Alongside these, the band also played stripped-back shows in grassroots venues, highlighting their commitment to the UK’s live music scene, in hopes to help keep these venues open.

When speaking about the band’s decision to focus on grassroots venues for the tour, frontman Luke Pritchard described these venues as “the lifeblood of the British music scene”.

He said, “Clubs like The Leadmill were vital for us when we started out and it breaks my heart to see these places closing down”, and continued by saying, “It’ll be a sad day if we lose The Leadmill.”

He then added, “The UK government has undervalued live music for too long. They need to do more to keep this industry alive, for the benefit of the country and all future artists that risk not being heard.”
