It comes after the band recently shared their new album ‘Futique’ which got huge praise from both critics and fans. Joining them for this one-off outdoors show will be Nothing But Thieves, who will return to the stage after the completion of their world tour ‘Welcome to the DCC’, as well as support from Don Broco, Marmozets, and Wavves.

In a new statement, the band said, “Finsbury fuckin’ Park – see you in July. This is going to be so special, don’t miss it…”

The Finsbury Park show will also come following a huge tour by Biffy Clyro in celebration of their album ‘Futique‘ which will take place at the start of the new year. They will play arenas across the UK and Ireland, kicking off the tour in Belfast on January 9, and continue with shows in Dublin, Nottingham, London and more. Joining them for these shows will be special guests Soft Play and The Armed.

The tour will start at Belfast’s SSE Arena on January 9 before continuing the next night at the 3Arena in Dublin. From there, the shows will continue at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham and The O2 in London on January 12 and 14 respectively, followed by further stops in Birmingham, Manchester, and Cardiff. The tour will then head to P&J Live Venue in Aberdeen on January 20, and will finally finish January 21 at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.

The band rose to fame as one of the UK’s most successful rock bands. Their breakthrough first came with album ‘Puzzle‘ (released in 2007), which entered the UK Top 10, and was followed by ‘Only Revolutions’ (released in 2009), which ended up being a multi-platinum album that earned both BRIT Award and Mercury Prize nominations. They also achieved their first UK number 1 album with ‘Opposites’ (released in 2013), and then achieving the same thing for their albums ‘Ellipsis’ and ‘A Celebration of Endings’.

Known for their explosive live performances, they have headlined major UK festivals, including Reading and Leeds.

Tickets for the Finsbury Park show go on pre-sale November 26 at 10am and fans can sign up here for access. General sale will be available here from November 28 at 10am.
