UFO is not a stand-alone release, its arrival follows a surprise announcement from DBE of more music to come. In fact, the duo is set to drop The Blueprint: Us vs. Them, their debut album, next week.

Key players from the UK rap scene will make guest appearances on the swiftly incoming LP. Birmingham rapper Stefflon Don will feature on Michelin Star, whilst singer-songwriter Raye will lend her powerful vocals on Ferrari Horses. Landing on Friday, October 9th, The Blueprint: Us vs. Them will be composed of 29 tracks. The full tracklist can be found in full below:

UFO is a bass-heavy, percussively charged bop. Its self-assured lyrics and R&B-infused backing track mean that UFO certainly sets the bar high for the rest of The Blueprint. 

Young Adz leads the first verse and catchy chorus then passes the baton to Aitch. The New Moston rapper holds his own on the ice-cold track, lending his lyrical mastery in the second half of UFO. Aitch upholds his ladies man reputation with the cocky lyrics: “I ain’t beefin’ with your ex, the boy a patty/Got about two-hundred thousand pounds of jewellery in the taxi”

It is clear that the musical talents of D Block Europe and Aitch merge well together, with UFO leaving fans hoping for another future collaboration between the rappers. Aitch took to Instagram yesterday (October 2nd) to celebrate the release of the brand new track. The post, a snippet of the suggestive music video, has received over 184,000 views, and is a big hit amongst the rapper’s huge fan base. 

Dirtbike LB and Young Adz shared UFOs’ visual accompaniment on the GRM Daily YouTube channel last night, which has obtained over 654,000 views from excited fans. The colourful, sci-fi themed video, which was directed by KC Locke, conveys a night of debaucherous partying through the eyes of DBE and Aitch themselves. UFO is not the only recent offering from D Block Europe, as the dynamic duo dropped We Won not too long ago. Released on August 6th, We Won can be listened to here.
