Aitch, whose real name is Harrison Armstrong, was spotted arriving at Brisbane Airport earlier this week, which confirmed the rumours that he would be part of the line up this year. The rapper told reporters he was “ready for anything” and joked about the show’s famous Bushtucker Trials. “Snake on toast? That’s all right that, innit?” he laughed, adding that he’ll miss his sister the most while he’s away.

The ITV reality series, hosted by Ant and Dec, sees celebrities live together in the Australian jungle while facing a series on mental and physical challenges. It returns to ITV on November 16, with the full-line up featuring a mixture of TV personalities, athletes, and entertainers.

Joining Aitch this year in the jungle is a mix of familiar faces across different areas of UK entertainment. Ruby Wax, comedian and mental-health advocate; and Martin Kemp, Spandau Ballet bassist and actor, bring decades of showbiz experience. They’re joined by Kelly Brook, model and presenter; and Jack Osbourne, reality-TV star and son of Black Sabbath frontman Ozzy Osbourne.

Joining them is Alex Scott MBE, former England footballer and broadcaster; comedian Eddie Kadi; Lisa Riley, known for her role in ‘Emmerdale’; and Shona McGarty, who recently left ‘Emmerdale’. Finally, social-media personality Angry Ginge (real name Morgan Burtwistle) joins the line-up, and his rise from social media adds a Gen Z twist to the line-up.

Aitch’s inclusion marks one of the first times a major UK rap artist has taken part in ‘I’m a Celeb’, showing how to genre continues to break into mainstream media. Since emerging from Manchester’s rap scene in 2018, Aitch has become one of the most prominent names in British rap, earning multiple Top 10 singles, a BRIT nomination, and collaborations with artists such as Ed Sheeran and Stormzy. His mix of cheeky humour, lyrical skill, and Northern charm has made him a relatable figure in UK music.

Fans have predicted Aitch will bring personality and banter to the jungle.

Filming on the show wrapped prior to Payne’s death last October. Back in January, the show was listed as one of the most anticipated 2025 Netflix shows.  The show is a Love is Blind-style talent contest in which singers form their own bands without being able to see each other. The Building the Band talent competition series from Remarkable Entertainment, which is part of Banjay, UK, aims to form the next great music group sight unseen. The series will culminate in three live shows that were filmed in late August in front of a live audience in Manchester.

Possible adjustments by the Building the Band producers to address Payne’s loss could include his fellow judges and Backstreet Boys star AJ McLean, host of the competition series, offering a tribute in the opening episode.

The singer who came to fame whilst being part of very famous boyband One Direction in 2010 died after falling from the third-floor balcony of a hotel in Buenos Aires which came as a shock to the whole entire world. The Public Prosecutor’s Office in Argentina is continuing to investigate the circumstances around Payne’s death at the Casa Sur Hotel. Five people have since been convicted in the singer’s death,  including the singer’s friend Roger Nores, the hotel manager, and a receptionist – who were all accused of manslaughter. Two others, a hotel employee and a waiter, have been charged with supplying cocaine, Argentina’s National Criminal and Correctional Prosecutor’s Office previously said in a statement.

The streaming date of Building The Band is yet to be confirmed.

Speaking to Rolling Stone about the track, Suki shared, “‘To Love’ is a song that I wrote really recently that I was going to wait to put out on my second album. But I felt like it is a very distinct portrait of my heart right now that I wanted to share. I started performing it on tour and got so excited that I wanted to share it with everyone.”

This is Suki’s first release since her EP, Milk Teeth, released in November 2022. The EP featured her most well-received track to date, “Good Looking,” which exploded on TikTok, catapulting Suki to a new level of popularity. The track currently has in excess of 157million streams on Spotify, and pushed Suki into the category of melancholy pop girls amongst contemporaries Lana Del Rey and Phoebe Bridgers.

Suki shared her feelings surrounding her songwriting with NME, saying “I felt incredibly blocked in my own autobiographical memory of who I was or what I could be. Jumping into those anxieties helped me feel free. That’s not to say suddenly everything became super joyous and easy, but I think if you want to stay in that state of creativity, the whole thing is, a lot of the time, it’s not a great place to be at all.”

Suki continued, “That’s what has to be appreciated – the pockets of bliss are small and it’s the muddiness in between and the willpower to jump into the fear [that lead you to them].”

Suki has credited “a delusional confidence” for her ability release her art, saying, “I think it’s something to do with an acknowledgement of fear. It’s when you’re not afraid to show up with the things that you’re afraid of that leads to confidence.”

Speaking on her debut album, Suki said, “I wrote the album in much more of a hurt place, a much more hollow and confused space,” with her newest release, “To Love” seeing her move into a more positive, comfortable realm.

Suki’s relationship with Robert Pattinson has made headlines recently, following their attendance of the 2023 Met Gala together, with many fans viewing “To Love” as an ode to Pattinson, though Suki hasn’t commented on this herself.

In addition to her music releases, Suki recently starred in the Amazon Prime TV adaptation of Taylor Jenkins Reid’s popular novel, Daisy Jones and the Six. Suki played a character not too dissimilar from her real life persona, starring as Karen, a keyboard player keen to move up the ranks of the LA music scene in the 1970s.

The cast recorded an album as the titular fictional band, with the original songs written by Blake Mills, who has previously worked with the likes of Fiona Apple and Lana Del Rey.

Speaking on the experience of recording the album with her costars, Suki said, “To get to actually play together so much that you genuinely are a band was very unlike anything I’d ever experienced.”

She has confirmed the show will be with the FX Network, the US conglobate who brought the American version of the classic British show ‘The Big Breakfast’ across the pond. The network is also the home of other shows such as, ‘Sons of Anarchy’ and airing of the ‘Ultimate Fighting Championship’. FKA Twigs had this to say to The Face when interviewed by Michaela Coel about her new TV-show, ‘Martial arts TV series which is very much centred around outsiders. And the idea of wanting to fit in but not being able to’’ she continues to add, “I’ve been putting a lot of research into the way that the Black community and the Chinese martial arts community have a really deep connection. It goes into music: the Wu-Tang Clan came together almost through martial arts,”

The idea for the show came from the singer’s work on her video for final single from the second studio album, ‘Magdalene’ released 8^th November 2019. The single entitled ‘Sad Day’ was released on 4^th November 2019 and saw the starlet master the art of ‘Wushu’, a form of Chinese martial art. FKA Twigs underwent three years of training in order to perfect the art and was applauded for her efforts when the video was released. As well as serving as inspiration for a new career move, the music video served more as a short film in order to showcase the singer’s talent. Directed by Hiro Murai, a successful filmmaker who has worked with acts including Childish Gambino and Bloc Party.

FKA Twigs is no stranger to triumphs, starting at a young age, when she found success as a backing dancer at 17. Featured in two Jessie J music videos, 2010’s ‘Do It Like A Dude‘ and the 2011 hit ‘Price Tag‘. In 2012, she released her music debut with the EP ‘EP1’ and later in 2014 released her debut album ‘LP1’, to much acclaim and was given Mercury Prize nomination in 2014 as well as a nomination for BBC Sound of 2014. The final single from her debut album, ‘Video Girl’ debuted on 29^th October 2014 and showcases the talented dancer and singer’s performance, as well as a cameo from Travis Scott, whose fourth studio album ‘Utopia’ is set to be released this year. The singer has also gained critical acclaim for her performance on her second studio album’s single ‘Cellophane‘, released 24th April 2019.

The star’s performance in ‘Sad Day’ is not her only role, getting her acting chops in 2019 film ‘Honey Boy’, penned by Shia LeBeouf, written in rehab as a loose memoir of his life. Adding to her expanding accolades is her directing debut with short film ‘M3LL155X’ in 2015.  The singer’s directing experience does not stop there, in more recent news she co-directed the video for her new track ‘Don’t Judge Me‘ with Headie-One.

Fans have seen that there is nothing FKA Twigs can not master, FKA Twigs’ new project is something we all can get excited for. The star’s focus on her new show is relatable and poignant, and if her performance in ‘Sad Day‘ is a preview of what to come, the show is going to be a hit.

During her opening statement she uncovered as to why she was hosting, with singer/songwriter H.E.R as her musical guest on the show. She stated, “I know there’s been a lot of chatter about me just being the host, I’ve seen all of it — like why isn’t she the musical guest and all that.”-Billboard

Mentioning her new album she said, “My album is not finished and I’m also too scared to do both. I would rather just put on some wigs – and this is all mine by the way – have a glass of wine or six and just see what happens.”-The Independent

Adele appeared on the show previously as a musical guest in 2008 and 2015. She also praised the show in her opening statement by saying ‘Saturday Night Live,’ helped her break America during her first appearance on the show. It was during her performance of ‘Chasing Pavements,’ and ‘Cold Shoulder,’ that gave ‘Saturday Night Live’ their highest rating episode in 14 years and sent her shooting to fame overnight.

The following day from her appearance on the show, Her debut album ‘19‘ went straight to number 1 in the ITunes chart and ‘Chasing pavements,’ shot up the billboard chart from number 46 to 11, commending her with her first US single hit.

She explained how the show contributed to her success in America by saying, “You see I was the musical guest back in 2008 when Sarah Palin came on with Tina Fey,” she continued, “so obviously a few million people tuned in to watch it. And well, the rest is now history.”-BBC News

Adele had plenty of laughs during her hosting debut as she jokes about her current weight loss by saying, “And I know I look really, really different since you last saw me but actually, because of all the Covid restrictions and the travel bans, I had to travel light and only bring half of me – and this is the half I chose.”- BBC News

Although Adele was not the musical guest on this occasion, she did stun the audience with performances of her songs, during a bachelor themed sketch which included, “Someone Like You,” “Hello” “When We Were Young,” and “Rumour Has It,” amongst others.

NME reported it was in February, when she sparked rumours about her new album by saying, “Expect my album in September,” whilst being filmed at a friends wedding. In June, her manger set aside rumours after updating fans that her music would not be released then. A few of the names as to who she is working with on the new album, include producer Raphael Saadiq and singer John Legend.

Although viewers were hoping Adele may perform a debut song from her new album or share some exciting news about the release, fans are going to wait a little longer for new music.

MNEK told the PA News Agency about working with Little Mix, “In this instance the girls have really been in the driver’s seat and so everything on this album as far as – there is an A&R at RCA – but it’s now going through them. Because by album six they want to have a stronger say at how these songs end up. It’s been very that, it’s been them steering the wheel this time.” – Yahoo News

The Grammy nominated South Londoner who has also recently released the dance track, ‘More Than Words,’ with Sleepwalkr talked about the affect lockdown has had on the album saying,

“Literally the day I was supposed to go into the studio with the girls to do the last bits of recording I had to cancel a session because of lockdown things. But otherwise, doing the finishing touches of the album has been cool and has been great. I love working with the girls and I am all for them being the best that they can be and applying themselves whenever they come to the studio.” -Evening Express

Not only has MNEK worked on the recent chart topping dance hit with Joel Corry, ‘Head in my Heart,’ but also the successful track, ‘More Than Words,’ with Sleepwalkr’s which gained more than 500,000 Spotify streams in the first week. The music video shot by Michael Baldwin, features a deaf dance troupe’s expressive routine.

When asked about the video he said that he, “I really hope that people watch the video and know what we were trying to do with it. Hopefully it elevates the song to where it needs to be. It was actually really interesting to see dancing from that perspective and to see how they would take in information on how to improve their performances. The director would say something and then it would be translated to sign language so they could know it. That was an interesting process to watch.”- Evening Express

He praises the girl band’s recent tv talent show to Yahoo News saying, “I am glad that this show is happening. I like that the public get to see what we, as collaborators of theirs, get to see their personalities and just their bluntness, their humour, their goofiness. All of their best qualities as people are being shown on this show.” 

Their is no doubt that ‘Little Mix’s’ next album will be a huge hit following their recent successful single releases as, ‘Holiday,’ ‘Break Up Song’ and their current release, ‘Not a Pop Song.’ There is no doubt their new album is set to be another chart topping hit.
