Tunes in the Park has two stages, the Main Stage located at the entrance overlooking the incredible estate. Headliners include Jess Glynne, Craig David, Boy George & Culture Club, Vernon Kay, and Scouting For Girls. Notable acts at the Main Stage include Daniel Bedingfield, Ellie Sax, Louisa Johnson, and The Wanted.   

Their secondary stage, The Quarry, held at the entrance of the estate’s gardens, includes artists Rudi’s Message, Rue, Jack Botts, Laura Kate, Tom Carey, and Tess Emilia. Throughout the weekend, there are also performances from a variety of cover bands.   

There will be a separate stage, known as The Mad House, held in the gardens specifically for comedy acts. Comedic acts include Joel Dommett, Paul Smith, and Katherine Ryan. After dark, every night, there is a silent disco after party near the Quarry Stage.

Tunes is also known for its wellness section. This upcoming festival includes sessions of woodland yoga, soothing sound baths, morning meditation, massages, wild swimming, creative workshops, saunas, and a silent disco body workout. Activities throughout the weekend also include a bottomless brunch, canoeing, Mad Hatter’s tea party, VIP feasting sessions of a three-course meal overlooking the main stage, and bubbles and brush, a space to enjoy champagne and painting.

For festivalgoers excited to start planning, the festival grounds are a 5-10 minute walk from the Saint Germans train station. There are also pre-arranged bus routes and different parking areas on the festival grounds. Camping grounds open at 9 am on Thursday, August 21, and close at noon on Monday, August 25. The Main Stage headliners included Shy FX, Dizzee Rascal, Hybrid Minds, and James Bay. Notable acts throughout the weekend also included Dimension, Jax Jones, Eliza Rose, Ellie Sax, Dub Pistols, Gear Sands, Charlie Boon, and Wilkinson. 

The Secondary Stage featured artists High Contrast, Utah Saints, The Chemical Brothers Tribute, DJ Yoda, and Eva Lazarus. The stage also hosted after-parties each night with headliners after the Main Stage acts, including Sunset Social Club, Gardna, Groove On Site with special guest Dr Dubplate, and Jam & Meme, a Cornish-based DJ group. The festival also held a silent disco after party every night in the gardens of the Estate.

The Wild Gardens of Port Eliot was hosted by Tunes Festivals, which organize live music events, food, fairs, and camping experiences across Cornwall and Wales every summer. The Wild Gardens event has been around since the early 2000s; however, this is the first summer they turned the weekend into a four-day event instead of two days, since the success of prior years. 

Tunes Festivals has grown since they started a decade ago and now holds nine different live music events in the summer in various unique places. Their past events this summer have been held in Swansea, Wales, Exeter, Perranporth Beach, Carlyon Bay, and the Port Eliot Estate, where they had their debut Hootenanny Fayre in June. 

Throughout this weekend, Tunes also held many different activities for ticket-holders to enjoy, including a bottomless brunch, feasting dining experience, painting sessions, and a chance to get out on the water to enjoy a guided paddle-boarding experience. Tunes Festivals also held a separate section for wellness, giving people a chance to escape the chaos and enjoy relaxing saunas, sound baths, yoga sessions, ice baths, and swimming. 

Tunes Festivals have successfully held both the Hootenanny Fayre and Wild Gardens festival at the Port Eliot Estate. They will also later hold their Tunes in the Park event during the bank holiday of August 21 to 24, at this same location. Their headlining acts include Jess Glynne and Craig David. This festival will also have a separate stage for live comedy as well as music. You can buy different weekend and individual day tickets here.

The Hootenanny Fayre was hosted by Tunes Festivals, which organizes live music events, food, fairs, festival camping, and unique locations. Tunes Festivals started ten years ago, based in Perranporth beach, Cornwall, creating ‘The Watering Hole’, the UK’s only bar on the beach that offered live music. They have since expanded to Devon, UK, with a festival on the beach, Wales, Exeter, Cornwall, and Port Eliot Estate, a beautiful Estate where you can book house tours and walk the gardens where the festival is held.

The Hootenanny Fayre and Tunes Festivals not only provided live music and amazing food all weekend, but they also offered a quieter wellness section hosted by a social media creator and fitness expert, Tehillah McGuinness. The wellness section is a way to escape the chaos of a weekend-long festival and participate in silent disco, yoga, and a sound bath.

The social media creator also interviewed artists, staff, and festivalgoers with Tunes TV for backstage content. During the Hootenanny Fayre, she interviewed Girlz Out Loud, learning how the group only met recently and still had an amazing performance, also explaining what each individual artist brought to their group and the festival experience. The festival also held a silent disco after-party both nights near the second stage at the entrance of the gardens of Port Eliot. Tunes partners with Thatchers, Corona, and Korev for all festivals.

The Hootenanny Fayre was new this year for Tunes Festivals; however, the Port Eliot Estate hosts two other festivals every year, with the upcoming Wild Gardens festival on July 17-20, with last-minute tickets still available here. The final festival of the season is happening during the bank holiday, on August 21-24, called Tunes In The Park. Tickets can still be bought here.
