In his post, he reminisces on his early music days of posting ukulele and guitar covers of emo bands on Instagram and YouTube between 2015 and 2021 when he released his debut EP ‘My Brain After Therapy’. 

The pop-punk artist made his way to fame on social media, posting his life on Instagram as he documented moments going to school, playing music with friends and attending numerous concerts. His relationship with Twenty One Pilots has been long running throughout his music career with one of his most viewed videos on YouTube being a cover of ‘Truce’ from the band’s 2013 album ‘Vessel’, which he posted in 2019. 

With the artist’s close relationship with Twenty One Pilots’ music, many fans theorized that he would feature on the tribute album before the announcement. NoahFinnce posted his amusement at the amount of guesses on his Instagram story.

He continues his YouTube career alongside music, posting videos concerning trans experience and issues. NoahFinnce released his latest album ‘Growing Up On The Internet’ in 2024, a pop-punk collection of songs expressing the trials and tribulations of being so immersed in online culture at a young age, considering the artist began posting on Instagram at age 13. The album has all the heartbreak and British snark of the artist’s musical personality.

‘Growing Up On The Internet’ peaked at No. 93 in the UK Official Albums Chart, featuring an eclectic range of songs from the heartbreaking acoustic/electric rock blend in ‘SUBTITLES’ to the spiky alt-rock track ‘I Know Better’, a fan favourite which stands out in the album with over 3m listens on Spotify. The singer shared the change in sonic direction with the track, sharing with Rock Sound “The song has the same angst and sarcasm as my old stuff but with a darker sound.”

‘Blurryface Reborn’  is set to feature an exciting lineup of artist’s including Noahfinnce’s fellow  YouTube-born musician James Marriott. Here’s the full tracklist:

A source told The Sun that Noel was recording the song in Tileyard Studios and spoke of Sean’s decision to include Noel saying; “Sean wanted Noel on board because of his love of The Beatles and John and also in recognition of the massive impact he’s had on the UK music scene over the last decades.”

Noel’s love for John Lennon is well known. Noel famously took inspiration from tapes he had of conversations the music icon had just before he was shot dead outside his apartment at the Dakota Building in New York in 1980 on Oasis’ hit ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’.

Speaking about this, Noel said; “I got this tape in the United States that had apparently been burgled from the Dakota Hotel and someone had found these cassettes. Lennon was starting to record his memoirs on tape. He’s going on about ‘trying to start a revolution from me bed, because they said the brains I had went to my head.’ I thought, ‘Thank you, I’ll take that!'”

There has been a range of tributes to the late music legend, including a remix album of his greatest songs called Gimme Some Truth. The album was created by John Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono and son, Sean Ono Lennon. The album has a stunning 36 song tracklist, including Mind Games, Dear Yoko and Come Together, have been selected for the exceptional collection and will be “cleaned up to the highest possible sonic quality.”  According to a recent press release. 

There was also a special two-part Radio 2 programme, John Lennon at 80, where Sean talked to famous friends of his father such as Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John and Sean’s half-brother, Julian. The programme aired on the 3rd and 4th of October.
