The original Arirang song is a Korean traditional folk song. A symbol of Korean culture and history, ‘Arirang’ for BTS is something of an emotional return to their devoted fans, known widely as ARMY. A group hiatus owing to mandatory military enlistment in South Korea between December 2022 and June 2025, saw the members release their own individual albums. The group reunited following the completion of their service on July 1st 2025 and six months later, on January 1st 2026, ‘Arirang’ was announced.

Notably, each song also includes writing credits for the BTS member’s with leader RM credited for writing on every song. It also includes the writers and producers for each song with notable inclusions from Diplo, Flume and One Republic’s Ryan Tedder.

‘Arirang’ is set to be released on March 20th, almost six years after their last, ‘Be’ which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200. ‘Be’ was the groups fifth to debut at number one, which made them to quickest to repeat the feat in the US since the Beatles.

The seven member group made up of RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook was formed in 2010 and have become one of Kpop’s greatest exports, becoming the first non-English speaking act to sell out concerts at Wembley. Known for their high energy performances and charm, BTS were consistently awarded the Billboard Music Award for Top Social Artist between 2017 and 2021 and were the first Kpop act to receive both Grammy and Brit Award nominations. They have similarly reached extraordinary heights in Korea, with their seventh album ‘Map of The Soul: 7’ becoming the fourth best-selling album of all time in South Korean and receiving 50 total awards at The MAMA Awards.

BTS are also set to embark on a world tour to support the album, scheduled to begin in April 2026 and continue until March 2027. It is set to be their largest world tour to date with a 360-degree stage set-up to showcase their performance skills. Ahead of the album’s release, BTS are also scheduled to perform for the first time in three years which will be exclusively streamed on Netflix on March 21st which fans eagerly await.

 MARINA has shared a sombre, synth-y affinity with her fans since her debut album ‘The Family Jewels’ in 2010. Since then she has released eight EPs and five studio albums, making ‘PRINCESS OF POWER’ her sixth. Her standout projects include ‘Electra Heart’, the singer’s first album to reach Number 1 in the UK. The album lifted her siren vocals to a satirical, moody and fun collection of songs in the eye of her self-created alter ego which existed solely for this album. The project also led to one of her most popular tracks ‘Primadonna’ which peaked at number 11 in the UK charts. 

MARINA’s thought-provoking ‘Electra Heart’ considers femininity and identity, which she has discussed in several instances. In an interview with Channel 4 News, MARINA explains how she uses pop to discuss her struggles in seeing the objectification of women in the media when she was growing up.  

Since then, MARINA has only topped herself with creative endeavours, sharing a thoughtful poetry collection on the artist’s musing of the heart, ‘Eat the world: A collection of poems.’ published in 2024. This was a welcomed pursuit considering her exploration of love and identity throughout her discography. 

The Welsh electro-pop singer has been teasing her latest album ‘PRINCESS OF POWER’ for several months, with the release of several track ahead of the full album, including ‘BUTTERFLY’ and ‘CUPID’S GIRL’, both with haunting, artistic accompanying videos. A fan favourite track, however, seems to be ‘CUNTISSIMO’. The song was shared with a period piece music video with a pink, theatrical personality that runs through the image of the album.

Her performance of the moody pop track debuted at Coachella this year with fans sharing the performance from all angles, revelling in her addictive stage presence.

Ahead of her Coachella performance, MARINA shared her film inspiration for the album with the film-based social media app, Letterboxd. The list she shared with Letterboxd includes several notable films across the decades, such as the cult classic ‘Death Becomes Her’, alongside recent award winning films ‘Poor Things’ and ‘The Substance’.

The artist’s inspirations give insight into a dark album ahead, surely providing a MARINA-esque commentary on womanhood and the self.

Fans were also treated to small snippets of each track in a video that Horan shared on TikTok.

The Show is the star’s third album, with Horan taking to social media to say, “This album is a piece of work I’m so proud of and now it’s time to pass it over to you to go and make it your own. Thank you so much for being there for me all this time and I can’t wait to share the next couple of years of this new era with you. I’ve missed you all so much. It’s good to be back.”

Horan released the first single, “Heaven,” from the album back in February.

Talking to Rolling Stone about the track, he said, “One thing I’ve learned over the years is that society loves to pressure us into reaching certain milestones by a certain age. Whether that’s getting married or anything else that really should be based on our own instincts. As I’ve gotten older I’ve tried to let go of those expectations and just follow my heart.”

He continues, “The chorus of this song is saying that what I have in my life currently is amazing. So it would be crazy to ruin that by giving into outside pressures.”

The new album will be just another thing for Horan to take in his stride after an already packed year. Earlier this month, Horan was invited to perform at The White House as part of President Joe Biden’s St. Patrick’s Day celebrations.

Taking to Twitter, Horan said “it’s an honour to be invited and represent my country.“

The multi-genre artist posted a video on his Instagram with the caption “Reason To Smile comes out in 5 weeks  It’s time to start giving you guys a little taster of the album… What song do you wanna hear?”. 

The video posted by Kojey showed the tracks on his upcoming project, which will have 14 tracks and will feature 11  artists across 9 of the tracks. While the track list has been posted but it is in no particular order, so fans will still be unsure of how it will run.

Kojey features solely on 5 of the tracks with the titles of these tracks being, “Nappy”, “Pusher Man: BWI”, “Fubu”, “Gangsta” and “Together”. With these tracks being the only ones Kojey is on by himself, and given his ability to move from genre to genre and perform RnB, indie, rap and soul, it is impossible for fans to guess how he will come across on these tracks.

The remaining 9 tracks all contain features, with Kojey choosing an eclectic roster of artists to perform alongside.  The already released featured track is “Payback” featuring Knucks, which has received a great reception, with over 120 thousand views on Youtube and 345 thousand streams on Spotify 10 days after release. The remaining tracks are “Reason to Smile” featuring grammy nominated jazz/neo-soul artist Tiana Major9, who also features on the track “Talkin” alongside Kojey and legendary pop sensation Kelis. As well as Knucks, a number of other UK rappers will feature on the project, including Jamaican Brit Cashh on  “Born”, as well as Wretch 32 and UK RnB singer Shakka on the track “Beautiful”. The impressive feature list continues with a number of vocal superstars, including American singer Masego featuring on the track “Silk”, Nigerian born singer Shae Universe on “Pressure”, south London jazz sensation Ego Ella May on the track “Anywhere” and American singer/rapper Rexx Life Raj on the track “Solo”.

The track list contains 4 singles that have already been released. These singles are, “Big Bidness” which they dropped 3 months ago and currently sits on just under 2 million Spotify streams with 370 thousand views on the video, “Roberto C” featuring Unknown T is the next single to have been released the track came out a month ago and has 1.4 million Spotify streams and 250 thousand views on youtube, “Prada Bae” came out around 5 months ago and sits on 850 thousand youtube views and over 2 million streams. The duos latest release was alongside dancehall legend Chronixx titled “Blessings” and was released last week and with no video already sits on 160 thousand Spotify streams.

Young T and Bugsey will appear on 9 of the tracks alone with their songs being titled; the previously released “Big Bidnesss”, “Truth be told”, “Hall of fame”, “Home run”, “Tense”, “Glitter ain’t gold”, “5th not Atlanta” and “Outro”. With a majority of the tracks being solely the Nottingham duo, it looks as though the features on the 6 remaining tracks were picked carefully with some big hitters featuring on the duo’s project. The previously released tracks “Roberto  C” featuring Unknown T, “Prada bae” featuring Nafe Smallz and “Blessings” along Chronix are already out and have been received well by fans with the pair ensuring they fit and sound of their featuring artist. The remaining 3 features are manchester star boy Aitch who features on the track “Caliente”, rising American RnB star Blxst on “Nice”, and the fairly unknown uk singer Jasmine may who appears on the track “Celly”.

Alongside their project roll out the duo have been releasing videos on their youtube channel to give fans an inside look into their working process and have shared clips from the studio with Aitch as well as behind the scenes of their video shoots.

The section of the phone call that was used by Potters team to announce the tracklist sees Potter talking about getting out of jail and recording the “40 odd tunes”  he had written while locked up, which fans got in the shape of Training day 3. He then goes on to speak about making songs and creating music with other artists, “A feature-heavy tape, I’m talking about like every tune is a feature”.

Potter has kept to his words with his upcoming mixtape holding 18 tracks,11 tracks that will contain a feature with no artists featuring on more than one song.

The 12 features include the two previously released singles “Catch Up” featuring M Huncho and “Nothings Free” featuring suspect. The first sits on 2.1 million views after a month and the other just over 650 thousand views after being released for just one week.

The 10 remaining features are the 98 rappers Uknown T, KO and Bily billions. T will feature on track 2 “Eastenders”, KO on track 3 “Rappers Lie” and Billy on track 9 “Take a seat” alongside the fairly unknown rapper ICP.

Potter is keeping his project very East London heavy with features from Rimzee on track 4 “Ceo Flo and NSG on track 11 “Plain Clothes”.

The remaining features come from west Londoner Digga D on track 6 “Take that” and Haile on track 15 “Never”. British Zimbabwean and certified hook maker Tiggs the author on track 17 “Gangseritus” and Unknow rapper Smurke on track 14 “Foreva”.

Potter has just completed his 6 date Training day tour which took him to Leeds, Bristol, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool and London. With his tour coming to an end the rapper who signed to 0207 def jam earlier this year will work on getting fans excited for his upcoming project which is set to drop on the 1st of October.

The gipsy hill rappers second mixtape in less than a year will have 15 tracks on and contain 5 features.

The first 3 tracks on the tape will be the only tracks on the tape that have been already released. The tracks are Warm which was released in may and sits on 2.3 million views. The song was a sign to the fans of the South London rapper that he had returned to the old trappo with his drill centred music and balaclava-wearing style.” Pick & mix” was traps most recent single and sits on a quarter of a million views just 1 week after its release. The final track on the project to have already been released is his collaboration with fellow Gipsy Hiller DoRoad for their record “Maths”, which saw the duo going back to back.

Including the previously released DoRoad collaboration K-trap new project will have 3 more songs that will feature 4 artists. The first new feature is track 5 “Ying” featuring PRSAD, these two have never worked together before but the rapper who is affiliated with Brixton’s 67 has appeared in a number of K traps videos and K trap has always had a relationship with 67 having worked alongside them since he made his debut in music in 2016.

Lotto Ash is the next feature appearing on track 7 “Billie Jean”, Lotto Ash is half of the Birmingham duo Lotto Boyz who haven’t released a track since august 2020. Lotto ash has featured alongside M1llionz on his single “How many times” which highlighted Ash’s ability to hold a hook and will feature on M1llionz debut project set to drop later this year.

The final features are Youngs Teflon and previous collaborator DoRoad on track 13 “RRR”. DoRoad inclusion is no shock with the pair both coming from the Central hill estate in Gipsy hill and Ktrap having previously rapped about wanting to get his people to focus on music. Youngs Teflon is a UK rap vet, coming from Brixton he has also had a long-standing relationship with Trap having previously featured alongside each other on “Trapline bling” in 2016 and “Check dis” in 2018.

The project which was announced last Friday has been updated with the tracklist and released date, that being the 20th of August.

The 11 song project includes 4 features and 7 solo tracks, 3 of which have already been released. The already released tracks are ‘Friendly’ featuring Haile, ‘Broke Boyz’ featuring Dream Doll and the solo track ‘Mud’.

The 4 features on the project are Haile on ‘Friendly’, the already released track is already sitting on half a million Youtube views and features ⅓ of the west London collective Wstrn. Hailes ability to create a hook on any genre and alongside any artists is showcased on this track as well as showcasing Shaybos ability to not only rap but sing as well.

Dream Doll is the next feature and similarly to ‘Friendly’, the track ‘Broke Boyz’ featuring Dream Doll has already been released. The track sees Shaybo link up with one of the biggest female rappers from the states and showcases both her and Dream Dolls gritty rapping style as well as highlighting their femininity.

The third feature is from prior collaborator Jorja Smith, the friendship between these two UK female stars has been seen to grow by fans with their support for each other work as well as their collaboration on Jorja Smiths last project on the track ‘Bussdown’ which looks to being repaid with Jorja’s feature on the track titled ‘My sister’.

The final feature is American rapper Wale, similarly to Shaybo, Wale is from a Nigerian background and in recent times has involved his culture heavily in his music. Wale will appear on the 8th track titled ‘No worries’.

‘Queen of South’ will be Shaybos debut project and will hopefully give fans an opportunity to learn more about her journey as Shaybo in the last 10 years and why she deserves to be called the Queen of South.

There are 14 tracks on Unkown Ts ‘adolescence’ 9  of which are solely T. These solo tracks are ‘22 Double 0’,’ WW2’, ‘East’, ‘Tugman Vacation’, ‘Grandma prayer’, ‘Bible love’, ‘Louis Bloom’ and the previously released ‘Goodums’ and ‘Driller sh!t’.  ‘Goodums’ was released via T’s performance on the youtube platform colors, which he performed wearing his synonymous black Places + Faces shades, black trench coat, turtle neck and Adidas superstars, the outfit he wears on his upcoming project cover art where he swaps the superstar with a Jordan 5. The second release ‘Driller sh!t’ was released last Thursday and the opening lyrics “They say I only know that TikTok and triller clips, let me show those n*****s bout’ day dat driller s**t’” highlighted Ts return to his raw drill flow that saw him gain recognition on freestyles with Kenny Allstar on BBC One Xtra and Mixtape Madness.

The Features on the upcoming project are; ‘Trenches’ Ft Potter Payper, the fellow East London rapper who recently signed his big-money deal with US music giant Def Jams new UK branch UK Def Jam. ‘Vin Diesel’ ft M1llionz, the Birmingham rapper who recently featured on the official Euros track ‘Ole’ alongside fellow UK rap stars, Krept and Konan, Morrison and upcoming UK Rapper S1lva. ‘No Forgiveness’ ft Nafe Smallz, who recently dropped his new single ‘Highs and lows’.‘Glee ft Digga D, whose award-winning documentary director recently won the Bafta for Best Emerging Talent: Factual and the track which was previously previewed by Unknown Ts on a recently deleted Instagram post, and the only previously released feature ‘Wonderland ft Mhuncho’. 

The Homerton rapper has appeared on The Alhan and Poet Show on Grm daily ahead of his project release as well as walking for Louis Vuitton and Virgil Abloh on their spring-summer 2022 collection.

Unknown T’s upcoming project is set to be released next Friday, 30/07/21, and is available to preorder here. 

Following the 2018 release ‘Dear Annie’, the sophomore project will take the listener through fourteen tracks executively produced by long time collaborator Cam O’bi, a decorated producer who has credits with Chance The Rapper, J. Cole, Noname, Isaiah Rashad, Big Sean, SZA and others. Baw Baw Black Sheep also boasts an array of features across the tracklist, including Snoh Aalegra, Tinashe, grouptherapy and the late MF DOOM, who stars on the already released track ‘Cookie Chips’ produced by none other than Cam O’Bi

Rejjie spoke to DIY about the album, “I approached the album light heartedly from the point of view of making a short film through music. I always loved Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. I watch it all the time. I thought of Baw Baw Black Sheep like a soundtrack to it. I put the movie on with my album, and they synced up perfectly. I tried to tap into all of these feelings. The music is really colourful, and the lyrics are often happy, because that was my state of mind.”

A video has also been released ahead of the project for the single ‘Relax’ featuring Cam O’Bi and grouptherapy. It shows Rejjie himself rapping along and dancing to the track with a backdrop of the pyramids in Egypt, directed by Matter Research. As of today there are no physicals available on the official website, but the Baw Baw Black Sheep can be pre-saved on to all major streaming services.
