Due to a resurgence of online popularity following his now-TikTok viral single ‘Girls’, which was originally released in August 2022, The Dare has teased a tour in Europe and Australia, featuring UK dates, for the end of 2024. The highly anticipated tour accompanies the release of his debut album, What’s Wrong With New York?

The announcement of The Dare’s European and Australian tour continues a celebration of What’s Wrong With New York?‘s current success and the commencement of The Dare’s North American headline tour, which began on September 6. The North American leg of the tour has 15 shows, the first being a sold out gig at the Webster Hall in New York.

Harrison Patrick Smith, professionally known as The Dare and formerly Turtlenecked, has witnessed a rise in popularity through his presence within Charli xcx’s entourage during her international promotion of her latest album Brat.

The Dare compliments Charli xcx’s party girl aesthetic within the nightlife scene, as Smith not only accompanied her set at Boiler Room but produced her track ‘Guess’ for the deluxe version of ‘Brat’, in accordance with a remix featuring Billie Eilish. The ‘Guess’ remix went straight to number one on the UK Official Singles Chart in August and has established The Dare as an iconic producer and musician to watch.

The announcement of his upcoming tour follows The Dare’s newfound acclaim, one that relies on his classically chic but mysterious look, comprised of sunglasses and a black suit, alongside his energetic anthems. This reputation increased the demand for The Dare’s upcoming UK shows. When the tickets went on general sale on September 20, they sold out in mere minutes. This demand led to a second and third date at London’s legendary venue ‘Heaven’ being added to the tour’s lineup.

The ‘You’re Invited’ musician sets off for Europe in November for eight shows, before heading to Australia in December to complete two-sold out shows in Sydney and Melbourne, alongside a festival appearance at Meredith Music Festival. The Dare is riding the wave of his success with every viral moment on social media, along with his continual prominent tracks in electropop. The Dare’s presence in the industry is a party, one which is highly anticipated and highly sought after by fans.

‘The Dare Does Europe’ Tour Dates:
