The legendary rock band The Sisters of Mercy has announced a four-date tour in the UK in 2020. The tour is to celebrate the anniversary of their magnum opus 1987 album ‘Floodland‘.

Rock fans from the 80s finally get to rejoice when The Sisters of Mercy, a goth rock band from Leeds that rose to fame during the 80s with their massive hits such as ‘Lucretia My Reflection’ and ‘This Corrosion’, has blasted the news to go on tour next year. The band will hold four concerts to commend the release of ‘Floodland‘ back in 1987 which spawned commercial success for the band and established The Sisters of Mercy as the goth icon.

The tour will kick off on March 7 at Albert Hall, Manchester and three more dates, which can be seen below.

07/03/2020 — Albert Hall — Manchester
08/03/2020 — O2 Academy — Bristol
1o/03/2020 — O2 Academy — Leeds
11/03/2020 — Rock City — Nottingham

Despite not releasing any new LP since their last album ‘Vision Thing‘ (1990), The Sisters of Mercy has been back on the road, doing many gigs across the globe and appearing at music festivals. The tickets for the band’s upcoming tours are already on sale.
