The duo, who have both been nominated for awards, will be joining an already stellar line-up which includes the likes of Billie Eilish, Stomrzy, and harry Styles. This years ceremony will see Jack Whitehall returning as host, for the third year in a row.

Speaking about his upcoming performance, Dave said: “I’m very grateful and looking forward to the opportunity, I’m going to give everything I can to give you my best performance.”

The US pop singer and the UK rapper will join previously announced Billie Eilish, Celeste, Harry Styles, Lewis Capaldi, Mabel and Stormzy to perform at The Brit Awards 2020.

The announcement comes after the ‘Location’ rapper secured an impressive four nominations. The grime star has been nominated for best male solo artist, best new artist, song of the year and the Mastercard album of the year – for his acclaimed debut ‘Psychodrama’.

He joins Scottish singer Lewis Capaldi as this year’s most nominated artist, with the Glasgow-born star also receiving nominations for best male solo artist of the year, song of the year, best new artist, and Mastercard album of the year – for his critically acclaimed debut ‘Divinely Uninspired to a Hellish Extent‘.

Meanwhile, Lizzo has secured a nomination for best International Female Solo Artist. She is joined in the category by Billie Eilish, Camila Cabello, Lana Del Rey, and Ariana Grande.

This year’s second most nominated artists are Stormzy and Mabel, who have received three nominations each, with both up for song of the year for ‘Vossi Bop’ and ‘Don’t Call Me Up’ respectively. Stormzy has also received nominations in the male solo artist of the year and mastercard album of the year categories.

Meanwhile, Mabel received nominations in female solo artist of year and best new artist categories. Fellow performer and Brit Award nominee, Harry Styles is nominated for best male solo artist and mastercard album of the year. Celeste, who was announced as the winner of the 2020 Brits rising star award, will perform on the main show at the awards, in a Brits first.
