				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dido has announced that she will be hitting to road again this November and December for a six-date tour of the UK. The announcement comes after the release of her first album in six years, &#8216;Still On My Mind&#8217;, was released on Friday the 8th of March 2019 via BMG.</p>
<p>The singer/song-writer will be hitting the road again, which will see the singer commence the six-date tour off, in Birmingham, on the 28th of November 2019, before a concluding show, in London, on the 8th of December 2019. The six-date tour will see the singer heading across the UK visiting venues in Manchester, Brighton, Ipswich, and Sheffield.</p>
<p>The announcement marks Dido’s first return to touring in 15 years, and will see her performing material from the new album, &#8216;Still On My Mind&#8217;, as well as classic tracks such as &#8216;Thank You&#8217;, &#8216;Here With Me&#8217;, &#8216;White Flag and Life For Rent&#8217;. <p>The album, &#8216;Still On My Mind&#8217;, is her first album for six years, which features the lead single &#8216;Give You Up&#8217; and sees her working with her Brother, Rollo. Speaking about the album, Dido, said: &#8220;It was simple, I only wanted to make another album if it was with him’ says Dido. ‘It was made in such an easy way, all the vocals recorded on the sofa, a lot of it recorded at home.&#8221;<strong> </strong></p>

<p>The record follows the singer&#8217;s last studio album, &#8216;Girl Who Got Away&#8217;, which was released in 2013, was released in 2013 to critical acclaim, reaching number five in the charts. The album&#8217;s lead single, &#8216;Hurricanes&#8217;, which was released on Spotify at the end of last year, has garnered nearly two million streams on the platform to-date.</p>
<p>Speaking of making the album, Dido, said it had been, &#8220;an absolutely magical experience.&#8221; Expressing that “I wanted to capture the feeling I still get from listening to music, just that rush like you don’t need anything more than this.&#8221;</p>
<p>&#8216;Still On My Mind&#8217; is Dido’s fifth album, the six-years in waiting follow-up to &#8216;Girl Who Got Away&#8217;, which was the five-years in waiting follow-up to &#8216;Safe Trip Home&#8217;, which was the five-years in the making follow-up to &#8216;Life for Rent&#8217;, which was the four-years in the making follow-up to her blockbuster 1999 debut &#8216;No Angel&#8217;.</p>
<p>With album sales topping 40 million in total, worldwide, Dido is one of the UK’s best-selling artists; both her debut <em>No Angel, </em>and its follow-up the seven times, platinum &#8216;Life For Rent&#8217; ranking as two of the best selling albums in UK Chart history, <a class="story-body__link-external" href="https://www.officialcharts.com/chart-news/the-uks-biggest-studio-albums-of-all-time__24431/">according to the Official Charts</a>.</p>
<p>The announcement comes ahead of Dido&#8217;s sold out Spring five-date tour, this May. The Spring tour will see the singer kick starting her five-date tour off, in Glasgow, on the 26th of May 2019, before a concluding, in London, on the 30th May.</p>
