				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Iron Maiden&#8217;s frontman Bruce Dickinson has announced an upcoming solo UK and European tour. The news follows the announcement of Dickinson&#8217;s newest solo single, &#8220;<em>Afterglow Of Ragnarok.</em>&#8221;</p>
<p>The track will be the first single from his upcoming solo album, <em>The Mandrake Project, </em>with this being his first solo project since 2005. Due for release on 1st December, Dickinson shared a teaser video to hype up his fans.</p>

<p>In a press release Dickinson <a href="https://www.nme.com/news/music/iron-maiden-bruce-dickinson-announces-solo-single-afterglow-of-ragnarok-uk-ireland-tour-tickets-3532054">said</a>, &#8220;<em>it was important to set the tone of the project with this track,</em>&#8221; with him promising that it will be staying loyal to his rock roots.</p>

<p>The album, <em>The Mandrake Project</em>, will focus on the struggle that comes with power and establishing your identity, overlaid on a backdrop of science and the occult. The release date has not yet been confirmed, but fans can expect it to be available in 2024. When purchasing the album, fans will receive an accompanying comic book series that further explores the story of the album.</p>
<p>The comic book series will be a trilogy, <a href="https://loudwire.com/bruce-dickinson-solo-band-members-afterglow-of-ragnarok-teaser/">focusing</a> on &#8220;<em>a dark, adult story of power, abuse and a struggle for identity, set against the backdrop of scientific and occult genius.</em>&#8221;</p>
<p>Listen to Dickinson divulge more information on the project below, in which he shares that &#8220;<em>it&#8217;s music but it&#8217;s also much much more</em>,&#8221; with him revealing that it&#8217;s been in the works since 2014.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Roger Daltrey from The Who has announced that he is to embark on a solo UK Tour entitled Who Was I-An Evening With Roger Daltrey. The Tour is set to kick off in November.</p>
<p>In announcing the tour the singer <a href="https://www.loudersound.com/news/roger-daltrey">stated</a> that he wishes to <em>&#8220;Take the audience on a musical journey through my career as a singer, with a show of songs and sounds that explores and surprises&#8221; </em></p>
<p>The singer started his musical career as part of the band and co-founder of <a href="https://www.britannica.com/topic/the-Who">The Who</a> formed in 1964. The original lineup of the band included the singer (Singer/guitarist), Pete Townshend (Singer/ guitarist), Keith Moon (Drummer) and John Entwistle (Singer/bass guitarist).<br />

<p>Moon sadly passed away on September 7th 1978 and the 43rd anniversary of his death was yesterday. Entwistle also sadly passed away on June 27th 2002. Following the sad deaths of both Moon and Entwistle, the singer and Townshend have vowed to carry on the band and have both managed to pursue solo projects whilst remaining in the band. <!--/data/user/0/com.samsung.android.app.notes/files/clipdata/clipdata_bodytext_210908_143323_238.sdocx--></p>
<p>The Who are famed for their debut single <em>&#8220;I Can&#8217;t Explain&#8221;</em> (1965), as well as singles <em>&#8220;My Generation&#8221;</em> (1965),<em> &#8220;Pinball Wizard&#8221;</em> (1979) and <em>&#8220;Who Are You&#8221;</em> (1978). The song is also the theme tune for the main US Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) series.</p>
<p>The singer&#8217;s solo career began in 1973 and he has since recorded 10 solo studio albums with his last album being<em> As Long As I Have You</em> released in 2018. The singers hit singles include <em>&#8220;Giving It All Away&#8221;</em> (1973), <em>&#8220;Written On The Wind&#8221;</em> (1977), <em>&#8220;Free Me&#8221;</em> (1980) and <em>&#8220;Without Your Love&#8221;</em> (1980).</p>
<p>The singer expressed that he missed touring during the Covid 19 Pandemic and <a href="https://www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/entertainment/music/news/the-who-star-roger-daltrey-announces-solo-tour-40828821.html">said</a> <em>&#8220;This pandemic has brought home to me what an important part of me singing is and it’s made me determined to get back onstage asap. See you soon!”</em><br />

<p>The singer has promised to involve his audiences during the tour.
