Alesha Dixon released a statement over the weekend stating that she was not planning to release her comeback solo material until next year. The singer explained that her decision to release her music earlier than planned is due to her two daughters.

The singer stated, “My daughters have been a huge inspiration when it comes to me going back into the studio and releasing new music“.

The singer expressed that she wishes for her daughters to view her as an inspirational figure. The singer’s path to fame began in 2000 when she was part of her band Mis-Teeq. The singer continued the band with Sabrina Washington and Su-Elise Nash following the departure of Zena McNally before the group rained success.

The group celebrated two top ten albums and seven top ten singles in the UK Official Charts with memorable songs “Why” (2001), “All I Want” (2001) and “Scandalous” (2003). The singer has released four solo albums to date and her solo songs include “The Boy Does Nothing” (2008) and “Breathe Slow”.

The singer also gained TV fame on Strictly Come Dancing when she won the show in 2007 and then became a judge of the show in 2009. The singer left her judge role on Strictly Come Dancing in 2012.

The singer was then announced as a new judge on the successful prime time show Britain’s Got Talent in 2012. The singer was also a judge on America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2020 and it was announced in June that the singer is to also be a judge on Australia’s Got Talent. The show has since been cancelled due to Covid 19 and quarantine restrictions.

The singer has also turned her hand to writing children’s books and hosting TV shows and hosted Dance Dance Dance in 2017 and has recently hosted the dance show The Greatest Dancer. The singer has managed to maintain her musical roots as she continues to release music whilst working on TV shows.

The singer had taken a five-year break from music until the release of her single “War” in July. The single singer explained that the single addresses mental health issues.

This week Matt Goss appears to be teasing his followers with new music. Goss wiped his Instagram account and asked “Are you ready?” in a new promo image. Goss rose to fame as the lead singer with the band Bros. The band’s lineup included his twin brother Luke Goss (Drummer) and their school friend Craig Logan (Bass guitarist). The band’s rise to fame came with the release of their single second “When Will I Be Famous” in November 1987. The single reached number two in the UK Singles Chart.

The band’s remix of “I Owe You Nothing” released in June 1988 reached the UK Singles Chart at number one and is their only UK number one to date. The band achieved UK success which was dubbed “Brosmania”. Logan announced his departure from the band in 1999 due to illness. The Goss brothers remained as a Duo and announced their split in 1992.

Goss embarked on a solo career in 1995 and released his debut single “The Key” which reached number 40 in the UK Singles Chart. Goss has released 4 solo albums to date, “The Key” (1995), “Early Side of Later” (2004), “Gossy” (2009) and “Life You Imagine” (2013).

Goss held a successful residency in Las Vegas for 10 years and toured in the UK notably at both the Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Arena. The musician reunited with his brother Luke for their 2018 documentary “After The Screaming Stops”.

The documentary was credited by GQ Magazine as the best documentary of all time. The documentary charted at number one on the UK’s Official Music Video Chart. UK Tour dates were announced as a result of the documentaries success.
