Paul is insistent on spending his 2021 churning out as much content as possible, back in March he released his previous album Live N Livin. Production for this album officially started in 2019 when “Buss a Bubble” was released. The track would later be replaced on the album by a remixed version featuring Chi Ching Ching, Looga Man, Ras Ajai and Sotto Bless. Singles would be released through 2020 before the album was finally released earlier this year.

This trend of releasing music a good while before the album comes out seems to be coming to an end too. On Twitter, Paul shared a video blasting his most recent track “Dynamite” featuring Sia, released in October. Following his previous single “Only Fanz” with Ty Dolla-$ign.  Alluding to possible future music after the announcement of his tour. In a statement, Paul stated, “Ay yo UK, I cannot wait to get ‘pon the road, seen? Big boss culture album dropping with a whole heap of music, ya dun know! That’s where we set the ting fi drop. Big boss culture, big boss tour. Can’t wait to come to UK, you always treat me good, I’m a bring the good weather and the warm music. Ya dun know, you can’t refuse it, you can’t lose it, boom! Hannah Marshall, who is an autistic woman from North Carolina,  launched the online petition last Friday following the films premier. She said to NME, “As an autistic individual, I am asking that this film is cancelled. It is extremely offensive to myself and other autistic individuals. Sia has shown no remorse for her inaccurate and hurtful betrayal of the community. This film will not have a major impact on history. Cancelling it will express that intolerance to neurodivergence is unacceptable in today’s society. Sia and her associates have additional avenues for funds; they will survive even if no money is made from this film.”

Other supporters shared their views on the petition, which received over 500 signings as of Tuesday afternoon. One of the supporters signing the petition on change.org said, “Beyond disappointed that Sia felt empowered to perpetuate outdated and false ideas of how people with autism behave/see the world. I wish she would have used her platform to amplify the voices of people with autism instead of making an entire movie based on her “own unique view of the community.”

A number of people In response to the criticism on social media, NME reported Sia to have said that the actress she worked worked with on the film was a “beautiful young girl non-verbal on the spectrum” and said she  “found [the project] unpleasant and stressful.”  She added that, “The movie is both a love letter to caregivers and to the autism community. I have my own unique view of the community, and felt it is underrepresented and compelled to make it. If that makes me a shit I’m a shit, but my intentions are awesome.”

It will feature over 25 DJ’s from around the world who will perform via 4 digital the platform ‘Naoz.’ Artists already confirmed to perform include, Tchami, Boyz Noize, David Guetta, Diplo, Martin Garrix, Charlotte de Witte, Duck Sauce, Snoop Dogg, Jack Black and many more to set the party alight.

Tomorrowland held their first digital festival in July due to the pandemic. The result was very successful with over 1 million fans paying to attend, which was an increase of more than %150 ticket holders than previous events.

Organizers have described the New Years Eve event to Billboard as, “a virtual entertainment world [that] will bring musicians, artists and communities across the globe together, offering people a spectacular way to experience digital concerts and performances with the world’s best technology in 3-D design, video production and special effects.”

The event will feature four different stages and will begin at 8.30pm and end at 3am in every time zone. The Melodia stage will feature artists such as Charlotte De Witte, David Guetta, Like Mike and Armin Van Buuren. The headliners for the Atmosphere stage, which is the main stage will feature Arbat, Meduza, Camelphat and Maceo Plex.

Michiel Beers, co-founder of the Tomorowland’s event said to Billboard about the event, “We believe that digital will exist next to live.  We also believe that we have to create moments that people really want to see [us] livestream in a special way, and really see it as a small event.”

David Guetta collaborated with Sia for another song ‘Let’s Love’ in September. Their previous hits included ‘Titanium,’ ‘She Wolf,’ ‘Flames,’ and more. NME reported him to of said during a press statement, “During this time of isolation, I’ve been incredibly inspired to release music that has an uplifting energy.” 

He Continued by saying,  “I love producing club tracks but at the same time, especially now, I feel like creating ‘feel-good’ music. ‘Let’s Love’ is a message of love, hope and bringing people together and once again, Sia has out done herself on the vocals.”

The pass is priced at 20 euros for a day pass, which will include access to all four stages, whilst a 25 euros NYE pass plus will allow ticket holders access to the performances from 1st-14th January. A 50 euros home celebration pass will include four on-demand passes. They will be available via the Tomorrowland Website.

The Chandelier and Elastic Heart singer dropped the single unexpectedly, with Kendrick Lamar singing the verse “I transform with pressure, I’m hands-on with effort/ I fell twice before, my bounce back was special/ Letdowns will get you and the critics will test you/ But the strongest survive another scar may bless you.”

The video has a dance sequence featuring the pop star’s friend Maddie Ziegler. Although the video does not feature Lamar’s verse, that version of the song can be streamed via Spotify. Sia released her most recent album This is Acting in January. Back in July, Sia reached her first Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 hit featuring Sean Paul, with Cheap Thrills.

Directed by Sia and Daniel Askill, the video opens with shots of a distressed Ziegler, who wipes paint down her face, in the colours of the rainbow – a symbol for the Gay Pride movement. She is with a troupe of kids, who seem to be locked behind bars. Ziegler and 49 other dancers stand in for those who were killed the night of the Orlando shooting, using a range of expressive hand and facial gestures.

The song and video are a tribute to the victims of the Pulse nightclub massacre in Orlando that took the lives of 49 members of the LGBT community. As The Greatest starts playing, Ziegler frees the kids and leads them on a choreographed run throughout the house.
