With the help of his band, Horan will perform his sophomore album from London’s iconic venue, the Royal Albert Hall, to an empty audience. Scheduled for November 7th, the global live stream will be showcased via 4 different time zones. The show will be delivered at 8pm across each respective time zone. Unfortunately, the virtual event will be a one-off performance, and will only be available to watch during the allotted livestream times.

Tickets for the upcoming live stream will go on sale on Friday, October 16th. Profits from the ticket sales will be divided evenly between Horan’s touring crew and the #WeNeedCrew relief fund. Upon ticket purchase, there will also be an option to donate to the Association of Irish Stage Technicians (AIST) Hardship fund.

Horan meditated upon how the loss of live music shows has been a huge blow for music lovers everywhere. In an official statement regarding this, Horan stated that “I know that live events are something we all miss and until we are able to return I want to highlight the incredible people who work in touring that make those events possible and whose livelihoods have been severely affected.”

Horan explained his reasoning behind organising the special livestream, and relayed the importance of live music venue workers, the backbone behind the live music events that we as music lovers we hold so dear. The Slow Hands singer said “I’m putting on this gig to try to raise awareness of the immense value they bring to an industry enjoyed by so many and do something to help them and their families. I ask all my fans to support them with me and buy a ticket if you can, and I encourage all artists to do the same.”

Horan took to social media today to confirm the news of his upcoming livestream. In a post to Instagram, the former One Direction band member shared a short video clip of himself walking into the Royal Albert Hall, as well as a supportive caption directed towards his road crew. Obtaining a whopping 1.2m views, the post was met with a joyous reception from fans.

Black and White was featured on the emotional trailer for All My Life, which sent Horan’s worldwide fanbase into a frenzy of excitement. All My Life will premiere on October 23rd.
