UK alternative rock band Deaf Havana have announced that their fifth studio album ‘Rituals’ will be coming later this summer, with the release date set for the 10th of August. The news was accompanied by the release of Sinner, the first single from the forthcoming record.

Deaf Havana’s last release was 2017’s ‘All Those Countless Nights’, but according to the band, this album has been turned around much faster than any of their previous efforts. The record took just six months from writing to release, a deliberate choice to keep the songs fresh and relatable to the band.

In an interview with DIY, frontman James explained that the album was more “self-indulgent” than anything he’d made before, and warned that he “might alienate some people who might not ‘get’ the album”. However, he reiterated that the band were “behind him all the way”, and that all of them were super excited to play the new tracks live.

You can pre-order the album from the band’s website here, as well as choose from several merch, vinyl and CD bundle options. You can also pre-order through iTunes, Amazon or Google Play. You can also catch the band at various festivals this summer, including Reading and Leeds Festival – tickets available here.

The newly released tracklist for ‘Rituals’ is as follows:

01. Wake
02. Sinner
03. Ritual

The Northamptonshire dance pop troupe have released a brand new video for latest single Last Forever.

The song, which is the third single from last year’s triumphant Rituals showcases the foursome at their best, combining huge vocals with the kind of beats you’d expect to hear in your local nightclub. It works for Friendly Fires, it works for Delphic, and it works pretty damn well for Fenech-Soler. Despite hailing from the sleepy, quaint village of Kings Cliffe, this has not stopped them making movements in the burgeoning UK electropop scene and attempt to put their hometown back on the map.

Even though the best of the British summertime might have passed, this is still the perfect music to accompany a road trip, day at the park or just grooving around in the comfort of your own home. It is music that will put a smile on your face and make your body move uncontrollably. Fenech-Soler are appearing at a heap of festivals over the next couple of months, including the prestigious Reading and Leeds festivals, as well as Boardmasters and the Reeperbahn Festival in Berlin. After that they are travelling around the UK on a November tour, taking in gigs at Liverpool, Glasgow and several more. If you want a gig that will leave you with a permanent grin on your face for days after, these are the boys you want to see.
