They announced via their Facebook page that they would begin recording the album in late April, after announcing vocalist and guitarist Daniel Blumberg had left to concentrate on his own music.

Yuck’s self-titled debut album was released in 2011. The album received positive reviews, with their sound being akin to Dinosaur Jr and Sonic Youth.
