The UK leg kicks off on May 22 in Glasgow at the O2 Academy Glasgow. From there, they will perform at Slam Dunk Festival in Hatfield on May 24 and Slam Dunk Festival North in Leeds on May 25. They wrap up their UK dates on May 26 in Tilburg at the 013 Poppodium before heading to France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Spain, Poland, and more. Cities like Berlin, Budapest, Barcelona, and Munich will all host the band before the tour concludes in Leipzig at Impericon Festival on June 15.

A Day to Remember, often referred to as ADTR, formed in 2003 in Ocala, Florida. They quickly gained recognition for their unique ability to blend heavy breakdowns with catchy, radio-friendly choruses, creating a sound that set them apart in the alternative scene. Their breakthrough came with the release of ‘For Those Who Have Heart’ in 2007, but it was ‘Homesick’ in 2009 that truly launched them to international fame. Songs like ‘The Downfall of Us All’ and ‘If It Means a Lot to You’ became instant fan favourites shaping the 2000s punk music scene for many. 

The band continued their rise with ‘What Separates Me from You’ in 2010, which featured the hit ‘All I Want’, and ‘Common Courtesy’ in 2013, which included ‘Right Back at It Again’. Over time, they experimented with more mainstream rock influences, leading to the release of ‘You’re Welcome’ in 2021, a more polished, alternative rock-focused album. Despite these shifts, ADTR remains a powerhouse in the rock and metal scene, consistently delivering music that connects with fans of both heavy and melodic sounds. 

The tour itself comes in support of the band’s upcoming album, ‘Big Ole Album Volume 1’, which is set for release on March 21. Their latest singles, ‘Make It Make Sense’ and ‘Lebron’, have already given fans a taste of what to expect. ‘Make It Make Sense’ blends emotional lyricism with hard-hitting, instrumentals, bringing back the mix of intensity and melody that made them famous. Meanwhile, ‘Lebron’ showcases the band’s heavier, slightly more pop-punky side with aggressive riffs and anthemic vocals, proving they can still deliver the high-energy sound that longtime fans love. With new music on the horizon, this tour will be the perfect opportunity for ADTR to debut fresh tracks alongside their biggest hits.  

With presale already concluded and general sale beginning on March 7, excitement is at an all-time high. As A Day to Remember prepares to bring their signature intensity to stages across the UK and Europe, fans will be eager to witness their explosive live show once again. 

The tour is scheduled to kick off in the autumn of 2025, with performances spanning from October 17 to November 1. Notable venues include two consecutive nights at London’s renowned Roundhouse, as well as shows in cities such as Manchester, Glasgow, and Birmingham. This series of concerts follows a summer filled with outdoor performances, including appearances at Southampton’s Guildhall Square, Lincoln Castle, Warwick’s St Nicholas Park, and Dreamland in Margate.

Formed in Guildford, Surrey, in 1974, The Stranglers have solidified their place as one of the most influential bands to emerge from the UK punk scene. Their distinctive sound, characterised by a fusion of punk rock, new wave, and art rock elements, has garnered them a dedicated fan base and world-wide fame. Over the course of their career, they have achieved 23 UK Top 40 singles and 20 UK Top 40 albums, a defining testament to their lasting impact on the British music scene. 

The Stranglers’ extensive discography showcases their musical evolution through the years and how versatile they can be. Their debut album, ‘Rattus Norvegicus’ (1977), introduced audiences to their raw energy and included tracks like ‘Peaches’ and ‘Grip’. Following closely was ‘No More Heroes’ which was also released in 1977, featuring the title track, which ultimately became one of their signature songs. As the years went on, the band experimented with different styles, evident in albums like the 1979’s ‘The Raven’  and the 1981’s ‘La Folie’, the latter containing the funky hit ‘Golden Brown’, which showcased a more melodic and baroque pop influence ultimately landing them the number two spot on the Official Charts. Their 2021’s studio album, ‘Dark Matters’, reached No. 4 on the UK album charts, underscoring their continued relevance and ability to resonate with both longtime fans and new listeners. 

Joining The Stranglers on this celebratory 51 tour are the Buzzcocks, pioneers of the punk movement known for their classic catchy melodies. With classics like ‘Ever Fallen in Love (With Someone You Shouldn’t’ve)’ and ‘What Do I Get?’ the Buzzcocks have left an indelible mark on punk rock years on. Their collaboration with The Stranglers promises a nostalgic experience for concertgoers, celebrating the enduring spirit of punk music. 

The Stranglers’ 2025 UK tour, in collaboration with the Buzzcocks, offers a unique opportunity to witness two legendary bands sharing the stage. As they commemorate over five decades of musical innovation and influence, this tour is set to be a highlight in the live music calendar.

The band formed on 2012 and were previously known as Slutface (however the band’s new name Sløtface, is  still pronounced the same). Their newest album will be released on the 27th of September and is written with ‘short story approach’ according to front woman Hayley Shea. The record will feature 11 new tracks including ‘Final Gørl’ which debuted on March 15th and ‘Tired Old Dog’ which came out in April which you can check out below.

As for the bands newest single ‘Ladies Of The Fight’, it is the third single released ahead of the upcoming album and it hit streaming sites last Friday on June the 7th. The gritty punk track is reminiscent of the sound of Avril Lavigne’s 2000s alternative grunge homogenised with the more hyper-pop sounding lyricism being popularised recently. The track was inspired by the interesting concept of the real estate agents from popular reality series ‘Selling Sunset’ starting a fight club. According to an article from NME, Shea noted in a press release that the song was written ‘during a period when I [Shea] was watching a lot of ‘Selling Sunset’ on Netflix, and with these characters in mind, along with other TV and film references, ‘Ladies Of The Fight’ came to be.” Shea describes the song as  ‘so powerful, like a battle call to me, so I wanted to write lyrics that matched it but still were silly and fun. The goal is for the song to make you feel like you can achieve anything and take control of any situation. ‘Ladies Of The Fight’ is tailor-made for summer festival mosh pits. I can’t wait to play it live!”

And it won’t be too long before Shea gets her wish as the band will be heading to the UK this July where they will play shows in Exeter, Portsmouth, Gilford and Exeter. The group will then be returning to this part of the world in the third week of September and will perform into October, bringing their new album to the stage with dates in Dublin, Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham and London amongst others. Talking about the production of their upcoming album, frontman Dexter Holland said that ““the album was recorded in three different locations this time around: Maui, Vancouver, and our home studio in Huntington Beach, and together with our producer Bob Rock everything came out awesome. I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and head-banging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!”

The announcement of their forthcoming album came alongside the release of their new single from the record, called ‘Make It All Right’ which is a good first taster of the album. The song is what we tend to expect from Offspring tracks with their signature punk riffs throughout its 3 minute 34 second duration.

Dexter Holland said that when making the album The Offspring “wanted this record to have pure energy – from the start to the finish! That’s why we called it Supercharged. From the height of our aspirations to the depths of our struggles, we talk about it all on this record…in a way that celebrates the life that we share and where we are now.”

He added that the new single, ‘Make It All Right’ “is a great example of this because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right.”

The album also marks the first LP for the band without long time drummer Pete Parada, with Foo Fighters drummer, John Freese, performing on their latest single.

The announcement of their newest album comes just before they are due to perform at Download festival in Leicestershire. Their set will be on Saturday, 15th of June, and will be their first performance in the UK since they headlined Slam Dunk festival in 2023. They also recently performed a set where they brought out Ed Sheeran and performed the track ‘Million Miles Away’ off of their album ‘Conspiracy of One’.

But before this happens, the Canadian pop-punk legends will be on one massive tour, and that’s not forgetting their colossal new album!

A lot of this was by accident,” says Deryck Whibley of the genesis of Sum 41’s eighth record, Heaven :x: Hell. During lockdown, the Canadian singer/songwriter was inundated with calls and requests asking him to pen some more pop-punk bangers – which worried him. It had been several years since he’d done such a thing. But he took the plunge anyway.

At the time, Derek and his wife Ariana had just welcomed their first child into the world – Lyndon Igby. “The only thing he would mellow out to was punk rock music,” explains Deryck, who’d regularly take his son out in the car, driving around the uncharacteristically quiet streets of Los Angeles, blasting the songs that soundtracked his high school years – NOFX, Pennywise, Social Distortion, Lagwagon and Bad Religion.

This routine would repeat on a daily basis and made its way into Derek’s creative cortex. He began writing in a way that was reminiscent of Sum 41’s earlier material. These songs were, at first, due to be gifted to someone else, but eventually, he became reluctant to part with them.

Derek then spent some time trawling through Sum 41’s earlier material and realised he’d amassed quite a collection.

So, he went about adding a pop-punk tune here and a riffy rager there until the bones formed of what would become the band’s final record.

“It was all with the help of our son,” smiles Deryck, whose daughter, Quentin, was born a couple of weeks after this interview – on her mother’s birthday.

When Sum 41 first arrived on the scene in the early 2000s, they were subjected to the same kind of cynicism as many up-and-comers. Some said they were one-hit wonders, a flash in the pan that wouldn’t last. Deryck bristled at the time – not because the naysayers’ words hurt, but the suggestion that anyone else could spell the end for his band. “No one was going to decide when we would go,” he would think. “I will decide when we go.”

“It was hard to bring it up but easy to talk about,” recalls Deryck. “Although they were surprised, and didn’t necessarily feel the way I did, it was a very loving and supportive conversation.”

Sum 41’s final album Heaven :x: Hell is due out on March 29 via Rise Records.

The announcement was made through Slam Dunk Festival’s official Instagram account, where they declared, “Slam Dunk is pleased to bring you a Christmas miracle! We’re excited to announce that @malloryknoxband will be reuniting for exclusive shows at Slam Dunk Festival 2024… With the return of original singer Mikey Chapman! Happy holidays” The reunited band will feature all the original members: Mikey Chapman, Sam Douglas, James Gillett, Joe Savins, and Dave Rawling.

Mallory Knox subsequently posted a Christmas-themed message on their Instagram, announcing the reunion and the festival appearance, captioned “MALLORY KNOX 2024. See you at @slamdunkmusic. Merry Christmas x”.

The band is set to join an impressive lineup of rock and pop-punk powerhouses at Slam Dunk 2024, featuring iconic acts like You Me At Six, The All American Rejects, Boys Like Girls, Funeral for a Friend, and State Champs. Fans can catch them all at Hatfield Park and Leeds Temple Newsam over the late May bank holiday weekend.

Known for hits like ‘Beggars’ and ‘Shout at the Moon,’  Mallory Knox left an indelible mark at Slam Dunk after their performance in 2012. The prospect of their return, following a substantial 12-year hiatus, has sparked immense excitement among fans.

The announcement of the reunion marks a surprising turn of events after the band’s official disbandment in 2019 following a somewhat scattered farewell tour. In a recently deleted post on Facebook, Mallory Knox’s statement read, “After 10 years, 4 albums and countless tours it’s time to announce that Mallory Knox has come to the end of the road. Unfortunately we’ve reached the point where we feel we’ve taken Mallory as far as we can both professionally and personally.”

Lead vocalist Mikey Chapman left the band in 2018, forming the band Sky Research, prompting lead bassist Sam Douglas to step into the role. Sam encountered health issues towards the tour’s end, leading to the cancellation of some final dates. Despite these challenges, the band bid farewell with a final show in October 2019. Now, their return to the Slam Dunk Festival in 2024 promises to be nostalgic for both Mallory Knox and their devoted fanbase.

The ‘Saviors‘ tour is set to kick off in Monto Do Gozo, Spain at the O Son Do Camiño festival on 3o May 2024, and will conclude with a huge show at Wembley Stadium, London on 29 June. The tour will see Green Day visit Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands and Ireland while the British cities of Manchester, London, Glasgow and even the Isle of Wight will also play host to the American pop-punk legends.

The announcement comes only days after the band had teased the possibility of a tour on their webstore, in the form of a banner telling fans to, “Pre-order ‘Saviors’ here for presale access to UK and European 2024 tour dates”. Joining Green Day on their travels are a number of bands that will act as support at different venues, including Nothing But Thieves, The Hives, Donots, The interrupters, and Maid Of Ace. British fans attending shows at any of the British venues can expect a mega headline show from Green Day, of course, along with performances from Nothing But Thieves and Maid Of Ace.

Saviors is the band’s 14th studio album and will no doubt contain material that will be showcased at the various shows, as will Green Day classics like Basket Case, American Idiot and Welcome To Paradise. A taste of what to come has been offered in the past days, with the band releasing the singles “The American Dream Is Killing Me” on 24 October and “Look Ma, No Brains!” yesterday.

The album in question is the band’s forthcoming 14th studio LP, Saviors. Co-produced by Rob Cavallo, who worked with the band on classic Green Day LPs like Dookie and American Idiot, Saviors is the band’s latest release since 2020’s Father Of All Motherfuckers. A single taken from the new album, “The American Dream Is Killing Me“, was also released on Wednesday and offers a glimpse into the band’s latest venture.

The upcoming tour of the UK and Europe will see Green Day visit the UK for the first time since their Hella Mega tour, a tour they shared with fellow American bands Weezer and Fall Out Boy, with Australian punk outfit Amyl & The Sniffers tagging along too. The Hella Mega UK and European tour failed to yield a show that was not sold out so if seeing Green Day next year is a priority, be quick or risk missing out.

Formed in California in 1987, Green Day, a punk trio consisting of Billie Joe Armstrong on vocals and guitar, Mike Dirnt on bass and Tré Cool on drums, shot to fame following the release of their third album Dookie (1994), and have since become one of the world’s leading and best known pop-punk bands. American Idiot (2004) and 21st Century Breakdown (2009) cemented their status as punk elites, cultivating a fan base like no other.

The pop-punk masterpiece, as some would refer to it, made the band a household name upon its release and shot the band to stardom, as well as earned You Me At Six critical praise and commercial success. Now, the band have expressed their delight in being able to please their fans after years spent clamouring for a re-release of the album. The band have recently acquired the rights back to their debut record and are excited to give Take Off Your Colours the celebration they feel it deserves.

Frontman Josh Franceschi said of the re-issue, “we’re very excited to celebrate the 15th anniversary of our debut album with this very special limited edition vinyl. We finally own the rights to this album again, which is an amazing feeling for us, and so we’re finally able to answer the calls from fans to re-issue the album on vinyl and release it directly to them. It won’t be available in shops. This is such a special album for us and we know it’s special to so many fans too”.

Franceschi and guitarist Max Helyer, during an interview with Kerrang Magazine nostalgically looked back to the time of writing and recording the album and reminisced that they were attempting to accomplish what very few UK based artists were doing in those days. Franceschi said, “There were no UK bands doing what the US scene had going on. [Labels] like Fueled By Ramen, the Warped Tour, Drive-Thru Records. There wasn’t really a UK band flying that flag at that particular moment in time. All our mates were playing in hardcore bands and we like hardcore music, but we also liked songs with melodies and with a pop sensibility to it. We were like, ‘If we do that, maybe we’ll stand out more.'”

Helyer added, “When you’re 15, up to 18, you’re kind of adapting and learning your craft. There was no pressure. It was like, ‘Let’s make music for fun and stuff we get kicks out of.’ Realistically, we didn’t expect the response to some of the songs that we wrote at that time. Save It For The Bedroom was the song that shot us out into a bigger audience.”

Buzzcocks, officially inducted into the Camden Walk of Fame on 8th September along with The Kinks, join other musical luminaries to achieve the accolade such as David Bowie, The Who, Amy Winehouse and Madness. The honour comes in recognition of the band’s considerable impact upon the music scene, both within the UK and beyond.

The group was further acclaimed and commended for their influence by fellow stars of the rock world, Liam Gallagher and Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook. Both artists highlighted the importance of Buzzcocks and their ability to churn out hit songs while being true to the punk epithet of making it big through DIY.

Gallagher said, with good-natured tongue in cheek, “congratulations to Steve Diggle and The Buzzcocks for their inauguration in the Camden Walk of Fame. Love The Buzzcocks, second greatest band to come out of Manchester!”

Cook added, “The Buzzcocks booked the Sex Pistols’ first show in Manchester telling us we would be hearing about their band very soon and it wasn’t long before the world was bombarded with hit after hit of unique pure punk power pop energy. So a big thanks to Steve and the boys for putting a smile on our faces. A well deserved star on the Camden Walk of Fame.”

Buzzcocks celebrated their achievement by performing a set at the Camden Music Festival on 9th September and have announced that they will be playing a special one night show at Camden’s KOKO on 22, March next year. The band divulged that they will be playing their hit album, Singles Going Steady in full along with a selection of fan favourites. The band is also set to release a 45th anniversary edition of the album next year.

Buzzcocks were formed in Bolton in 1976 by singer/guitarist Pete Shelley and singer Howard Devoto. The band went on to release three albums and a compilation of their hit singles which formed Singles Going Steady. The band broke up in 1981 following disagreements with their record label United Artists.

The band reunited in 1989 and went on to record six more albums before Shelley’s passing in 2018 however, the band has remained active with Steve Diggle (bass) taking over vocal and guitar duties. Buzzcocks released Sonics In The Soul, their 10th studio effort in 2022 and have stated they are currently in production of a follow up studio recording.
