Though little else is known right now, there’s little doubt that tickets for this outdoor show will sell out fast.

Matty Healy recently confirmed ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ would be out later than first planned. Originally due for February 21, Healy confirmed the album would be out on April 24.

“We have been finishing our album, so we’ve been very busy,” Healy said through Instagram live.

“It takes like three months or something to physically make a record on vinyl so it comes out on the 24th of April, I think. Sorry if that’s annoying or whatever.” 

Healy said he was “really proud” of the album, adding that he and the band “love it”.

He added: “for the sake of a couple of months, in the grand scheme of things [the delay] doesn’t really make any difference.” 

Healy further revealed that fans could expect four more songs from the album, which contains a hefty 21 tracks.

As a result of the delay, The 1975 rescheduled their European Tour in a bid to complete the album. They were initially set for a run of shows from February 2020.

Now the shows begin from October 2020 instead. Their UK gigs for February 2020, however, remain unchanged.

Their first gig will see them play in Barcelona on October 3. They’ll further play in cities including Madrid, Paris, Antwerpen, Frankfurt, and Munich. Their European leg concludes in Oslo on November 1.

The band also promoted an opportunity for couples to feature in their upcoming music video. A post from their record label Dirty Hit announced filming would begin on January 18 and requested for couples to take part.
