‘Everything Under The Sun’ will be Nickelback’s eleventh studio album, fitting into a catalogue packed with chart-toppers. The group have 5 Canadian Number One Albums, with their breakthrough third LP ‘Silver Side Up’ also scoring a UK Number One in 2001. Though they remain the butt of many jokes about mediocrity (which the band have always taken in their stride), they have sold over 50 million records worldwide, making them one of the most successful Canadian rock acts of all time.

So far, two singles from the upcoming album have been released: dark, atmospheric hard rocking single ‘Bones For The Crows’ came out in March, marking a shift from their more-trademark radio rock singles; while June brought stomping metallic anthem ‘Rattle The Cage’ featuring renowned guitarist John 5. With the latter’s release, ‘Everything Under The Sun’ was announced for release on October 30.

Back in February, the rock music scene was shocked by one of the wildest crossover tracks of the year – English act Don Broco brought Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger plus guitarist and backing vocalist Ryan Peake on board for frantic single ‘Nightmare Tripping’. Their new partnership set off speculation that they would announce a tour together in the first half of the year, but that news didn’t come until last week.

Nickelback announced the Everything Under The Sun World Tour on Friday October 9, with special guests Don Broco on all dates. It kicks off at the PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, PA on February 6 2027, and travels across the US, Canada and Mexico through to May. Then the UK and Ireland leg starts at the First Direct Bank Arena in Leeds on May 22, stopping in London, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester, before heading to mainland Europe and later Australia. Check out the UK dates below, and full world dates in the poster:

• May 22 – First Direct Bank Arena, Leeds
• May 25 – The O2, London
• May 28 – Utilita Arena, Birmingham
• May 30 – 3Arena, Dublin
• June 1 – OVO Hydro, Glasgow
• June 2 – Co-op Live, Manchester

Ahead of the album release on October 30, Nickelback have arranged ‘Everything Under The Sun’ listening parties in Liverpool, Bristol, Nottingham, Manchester, Leeds and London. Don Broco meanwhile are wrapping the last few dates of their UK headline tour supporting 2026 album ‘Nightmare Tripping’ with remaining shows in Leeds and Bristol, ahead of a 4-date US run in November.

Pre-sale for Nickleback’s UK and Ireland 2027 shows open at 10am tomorrow, Tuesday October 13, before general access at 10am on Friday October 16.

Kensington Police Service had previously warned that anyone they pulled over would be made to listen to the band’s 2001 debut Silver Side Up, which went double platinum. This threat was issued through the Service’s official Facebook page, stating in anticipation of the holiday season:“When we catch you, and we will catch you, on top of a hefty fine, a criminal charge and a year’s driving suspension we will also provide you with a bonus gift of playing the offices [sic] copy of Nickelback in the cruiser on the way to jail.”

The post continued “Now, now, no need to thank us, we figure if you are foolish enough to get behind the wheel after drinking then a little Chad Kroeger and the boys is the perfect gift for you.”

Yesterday the department-which is serves 146,283 people on Prince Edward Island- posted an apology to their post. The full statement can be read here, and in the apology Constable Rob Hartlen said: “Our little post became an international story. And somewhere in the noise, the message of Don’t Drink and Drive was overshadowed by negativity towards the band I said I would play if you did […] At first I admit I was fine with the way I worded the post. I was sure a hugely successful band would be fine with a little good will shade thrown their way […] but the more successful the post became the less the Don’t Drink and Drive message was mentioned and the fact we love or love to hate Nickelback took centre stage.”

Hartlen concluded the statement with a direct apology to the band members themselves, saying “I am sorry to Chad, Ryan, Mike and Daniel. Not as just members of Nickelback, but more importantly as fellow Canadians. I’m sorry guys because I didn’t take a moment to think of you AS just guys. Having to watch as media around the world takes a pot shot at you and having no way to defend yourself.”
