The LA bass virtuoso will move through mainland Europe from March 5-23  before a week of UK and Ireland dates. The itinerary is ambitious, spanning multiple countries and featuring a significant number of dates across major cities. It includes mult-night residencies in Utrecht, Netherlands and Bristol, UK.

For many, Thundercat is a musician of rare dualities: he can move you with a whisper, then shake the ground with a bass drop; he can be playful and profound, while being intimate and expansive. Thundercat’s 2026 itinerary is more than just a string of gigs. It is a narrative arc for the LA-based artist as he seeks to reconnect with his influences and a community of fans who are eagerly waiting to see how this new chapter unfolds. For a musician whose catalogue balances both virtuosity and vulnerability, this tour feels like a celebration of both.

D- Block Europe is a duo formed by Young Adz and Dirtbike LB. The pair from Lewisham, South London are childhood friends who were announced as D-block Europe by Jadakiss in 2013 when the pair were only 16 and 17 years of age.

The single is their first in 2021 having made three features on songs with Yxng bane, Ghost Killer track and Franglish.

The new single announcement was posted on Young adz Instagram with the caption “DBE szn new music out now”.

Since the release of their debut album ‘The blueprint – Us vs them’ in 2020 the duo have gone very quiet with their only appearances being on features and on a daily duppy that Young adz did for GRM daily, taking it back to his old rapping style without autotune.

DBE are the biggest UK act for the trap/ wave sound and had adopted the US trap model with their output prior to their hiatus, US trap acts tend to release a high quantity of projects and singles. Some of the biggest artists such as Gucci mane who has released 100 projects in his career, and Lil Wayne who has released over 30 projects are examples of this model of output in the trap music scene.

 The south London duo released 5 projects in the space of 2 years which contained over 100 songs, including their debut album ‘The blueprint – us vs them’, which charted 2nd on the official charts behind Headie one’s chart-topping project ‘Edna’, and featured 29 songs.  

Lil Pino features on the song, having always been the unofficial third member of DBE the 19-year-old can always be spotted in the background of freestyles or music videos that D-block Europe release. In Febuary 2020 he kick-started his own career releasing ‘Mya Mills’ which currently sits on just under 10 million Spotify streams. The young rapper is believed to have recently been released from prison as in June 2020 the duo Dirtbike LB and Young Adz released a track titled ‘Free 22’ a name the rapper better known as Lil Pino also goes by.

Waterparks will begin their UK tour at Bristol’s O2 Academy on June 24th, 2021. The See You In The Future tour will be hitting venues in Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester, before concluding the tour on July 1st 2021, at the O2 Academy in Brixton. 

The Texan trio announced news of the See You In The Future tour via a post to social media. Taking to Instagram late last night (October 20th), Waterparks shared a snap of the upcoming tour dates.

Garnering a whopping 31,000 likes and 1400 comments, the post has been greeted with a joyous reception from Waterparks’ huge fanbase. One excited fan commented: “Oh my gosh, I am crying with happiness!”

Following the UK leg of the tour, the Turbulent hitmakers will then travel across Europe, playing shows in Amsterdam, Berlin, and Munich. Tickets for the See You In The Future tour will go on sale on Friday, October 23rd. 

Waterparks have delighted fans by announcing a new concert film and a live album to be out next month. Entitled Fandom: Live In The UK, the concert film and its accompanying live album is geared for release on November 27th, via Hopeless Records.

Waterparks shared the trailer for Fandom: Live In The UK on October 16th via Hopeless Records’ YouTube channel. Receiving over 2000 views, the trailer can be watched in full here.

Waterparks have also released some limited edition merchandise on their website, which the band also announced via Instagram today. The merchandise collection includes some eye-catching band shirts and a limited edition Fandom: Live In The UK vinyl record. More information about Waterparks merchandise can be found here.

The latest release from Waterparks is Lowkey As Hell, which premiered last month on September 25th. Lowkey As Hell is the first single Waterparks have released since Fandom, their third studio album that was released in October of 2019. Fandom contains songs such as Dream Boy, Telephone, and Easy To Hate.

An ode to pop-punk giants of the early 2000s, Lowkey As Hell has touches of Sum 41 and early Blink 182. Beginning with a rustic sounding guitar riff, lead vocalist Awsten Knight sings about the band’s not-so-relatable problems, but issues that are problems nonetheless. 

Knight starts the track by singing the opening lyrics: “I just cried into a shirt I could never afford last year/My Drake problems, my fake problems/But it’s really how I’m feeling here”. Knight launches into how success in the music industry, whilst rewarding, has impacted his mental health. 

Knight continues meditating on the ups and downs of stardom: “I like cool shirts, I like cold rings…I think I’m halfway there but my heart feels off so/What’s the point of being great if I’m great and alone?” Whilst it has awarded the band financial freedom, Knight claims stardom has also afflicted ample amounts of negativity upon him.

Easy Life announced the news of new material via social media on October 17th. Taking to Instagram, the band captioned the post: “new easy life music on Wednesday”. The post elicited many joyous reactions from Easy Life’s ever-growing fanbase, receiving over 22,000 likes and 284 comments. One fan wrote, “hopefully the album is next!”

Over the past few months, Easy Life shared some sonic Easter eggs via Petty Crime and Peanut Butter from the see you later maybe never demo. They also shared Junk Food, the seven-track mixtape with the tracks 7 Magpies and Dead Celebrities, the intermittent releases amping up fans’ high enthusiasm for Easy Life’s debut album. 

Last month, Easy Life treated fans with a live performance of Nightmares. Easy Life imitated the original music video for Nightmares by playing live from an operating theatre.

The performance was directed by Tommy Davis and premiered on Sunday Brunch via Channel 4 on September 29th. Easy Life shared the music video with its 118,000 subscribers on YouTube. Receiving over 35,000 views, the performance of Nightmares can be watched in full here.

Back in February, Easy Life took home the award for Best New British Act at the NME Awards 2020 for their mixtape Junk Food. NME said of the indie-jazz quintet: “There’s little to prevent Easy Life from becoming Britain’s next big band, from transcending cult word-of-mouth status to become a genuine phenomenon. They’ve got the tunes, the killer live show, and a welcoming sense of community.”

 Easy Life will hit the road in April 2021, where they will play a few gigs across the UK. Easy Life will play shows in both Edinburgh and London.

Easy Life has released 3 mixtapes so far, Creature Habits (2018), Spaceships (2019), and of course, Junk Food. Easy Life was set to perform at the Live At Leeds music festival this year. Live At Leeds was supposed to unfold next month on Saturday, November 28th.

Unfortunately, due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, Live At Leeds confirmed its cancellation on September 23rd. In a post to Instagram, Live At Leeds wrote: “it may not come as a great surprise, but it will not be possible to go ahead with Live At Leeds 2020 as planned.”

Easy Life was formed in Leicester in 2017. The alternative band consists of Murray Matravers, Oliver Cassidy, Sam Hewitt, Lewis Alexander Berry and Jordan Birtles. Easy Life is made up of talented multi-instrumentalists, each member jumping between synthesisers, trumpets, percussion, guitar, and vocals.

Yungblud teased the arrival of some new material via a post to social media on September 17th. The retro-looking clip featured shots of Yungblud styled in various quirky outfits whilst the singer-songwriter soliloquised the introspective subject, “What does it mean to be weird?”

Continuing the implication towards new music, Yungblud wrote in the caption that “it all begins Thursday.” Yungblud shared the same post to his official Instagram, which has been met with a joyous reception from fans, receiving a whopping 324,000 likes.

In the video, Yungblud, real name Dominic Harrison, questions personhood asking “Is it a name of celebration? Is it a name of pain? I think that decision lies with us and us alone.” The artist then spoke on the importance of self-acceptance, relaying that “The thing about human beings is that we forget that we’re all 15 different people at any one moment. We don’t know which version of ourselves that we’re going to wake up to.”

Yungblud inspires his fans to embrace their unconventionality, regardless of how it present itself, wholly and completely. He closes the encouraging clip with “embrace the strange, celebrate the abnormal and allow every part of yourself to speak, sing and run around in circles…To be weird is to be different and extraordinarily free. To me, to be weird is the best thing you can f****** be”

In a recent interview, Harrison spoke out about his “coming-of-age” second album, which is influenced from popular, adult-reaching TV drama, Skins. According to Harrion, his next album “explores the ideas of identity, of sexuality, of equality, of depression, of anxiety, of life, of love, of heartbreak, of everything…Me and my fan base, we’re coming of age together. I want to do it side by side.”

In other news, Yungblud has been picked to be part of the huge lineup for the 2021 instalment of Reading & Leeds. The long-standing music festival will be headlined by some of Britain’s best acts next year, including Liam Gallagher, rapper Stormzy, indie band Catfish And The Bottlemen and rock legends Queens of the Stone Age. Electronic duo Disclosure and Post Malone will also be performing.

This month, Yungblud collaborated with rock band Bring Me The Horizon for their dynamic new song, Obey. Released on September 2nd, Obey is bursting with heavy guitar riffs and chaotic percussion. The music video for Obey can be watched here.

Known for his socially-commentating lyrics and catchy music, Yungblud is one of the most refreshing young artists today. Yungblud stormed onto the scene with his blinding debut album, 21st Century Liability, back in 2018. Since then, Yungblud’s influence has only grown larger and larger.
