Ohio based musical duo, Twenty One Pilots have graced fans with the official release of their secretive track, ‘Drag Path.’ An additional love letter from their eight-studio album, ‘Breach’.

Released in September 2025, ‘Drag Path’ was only accessible for purchase for the first week after the release of ‘Breach’, the only way to originally consume the song was by buying the Breach Digital Remains pack. Making the song all the more special for fans to have and to hold. Fans attempted to share the song with one another via cryptic Google Drives and Soundcloud uploads, but these have consistently been promptly removed, and the song has never been available on streaming, until now.

The Breach Digital Remains pack is essentially an alternate version of ‘Breach,’ only available digitally. The exclusive release came with a 50-page booklet, including handwritten lyrics, photographs and keepsakes from the tormented journey of ‘Breach.’

Known to create beautiful, narrative heavy works, ‘Breach’ follows the beloved story of the bands characters, Clancy, and Torchbearer. Before its release, the duo stated that the album would be the final instalment in their decade long storytelling.

‘Drag Path’ itself gained momentum on social media app TikTok as people dissected the devastating lyricism. The track amounted traction after users began pairing the phrase ‘drag path’ over tearjerking videos.

It is a mystery whether the boys were planning to commercially release ‘Drag Path’ all along or if the unexpected success has urged them to do so, however we are glad either way. The heights of success, videos with millions of views, and ‘Drag Path’ simply breaching containment of Twenty one Pilots’ close-knit fandom, has left people wondering what is a drag path? The meaning seems to have been lost to the masses.

The term drag path is somewhat self explanatory, the physical mark left behind something being dragged across a surface. Despite this, social media users have added their own spin, interpreting it in a way that uses the phrase as a reminder of people lost, moments passed and incidents that have shaped them throughout their lives. Whether this may be the scratch marks left behind by a late pet, old tattoos or family photos, fans have birthed drag path into a wonderous multi-use term.

On Monday 16 February, the two-piece band shared a video to their social media stating they were planning to release ‘Drag Path’ alongside a music video. In response to fan distaste of the original secret single, the bridge has been axed alongside some lyrics that can now only be sought out on the original version. Released alongside the single at 6pm, a music video was released utilising footage from a 2010 stop motion short film, Out Of The Forest, written and directed by Tobias Gundorff Boesen.

Whilst maintaining the emotional toll the original release had, Twenty One Pilots have offered fans their intimate song ‘Drag Path’ to stream without fears of it being deleted from their devices. ‘Drag Path’ can at long last rightfully be enjoyed by fans globally.

The trio, comprising of Piers Aggett, Kesi Dryden and Leon Rolle, first released music in 2009, before approaching Amir Amor to be a songwriter and producer for the band in 2011. They continued as a quartet until 2022 before Amir left, leaving the band as a trio of the original members. They have discussed the release of the new demo tape with The Sun’s Bizarre column. Speaking to Bizarre, they spoke about unreleased collaborations with the likes of Ed Sheeran and RAYE, revealing that the their track with Ed Sheeran was recorded eight years ago and is still in the vault.

The band also revealed that they have barely left the studio since the release of their fourth album ‘Ground Control’, released in 2021. In this time, they wrote around 3,000 songs and were ready to release ‘RUDIM3NTAL‘ 2 years ago, until writing ‘Nights Like These’ with Rag’n’Bone man in December 2024 and finally deciding the album was ready for release. Due to the hard work and dedication by the band, their sixth album is already 70 percent complete. Speaking to Bizarre, Piers Aggett said “This album really was finished a year to two years ago, and then what happens is, you get in the studio and we wrote ‘Nights Like These (featuring Rag ’N’ Bone Man)’ in December. And we’re like, ‘OK, let’s finish that, then we’ll put the album out’. We’ve already definitely half-made the next album. Maybe 70 per cent of the next album.”

Rudimental also announced the conception of their own new record label in 2026. Speaking to Bizarre, Kesi Dryden said “As Rudimental, we’ve always been a platform for artists. And in 2026, we’re starting a new record label. We’ll be supporting new vocalists, new producers and dance acts. I think that’s a big part of our focus. I think that’s reignited the fire for us and we’re super-excited about the next chapter.”

Rudimental are well known for creating songs of the summer and have a catalogue of hits, including ‘These Days’ featuring Jess Glynne, ‘Feel The Love’ featuring John Newman and ‘Waiting All Night’ featuring Ella Eyre, all songs which reached #1 in the UK Official Singles Chart. The band have fine-tuned the creation of #1 singles, so be prepared to hear much more of them following the release of their latest album.

Rudimental are playing a show in Circuit, London on September 7 followed by a gig at the iconic Amensia club in Ibiza, then going Orlando, Florida to play the Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC). Tickets for the show in London can be bought here.

16 year old singer songwriter Jacob Reddy has created a music video with a child of the same name from his town, Blackburn.

6 year old Jacob Reddy from Lancashire had googled his own name to see if any of the ‘challenge’ videos he had made during the covid 19 lockdown had made it onto YouTube. With his dad Chris he had created 111 of these videos, some of which went viral. Instead of finding himself online, however, he came across a 16-year-old Jacob Reddy, a singer-songwriter just a quarter of an hour down the road. Young Jacob decided to message him after enjoying watching his videos and admiring his guitar playing skills, saying how he would like to play himself. To little Jacob’s excitement, the older boy responded.

16-year-old Jacob Reddy, a musician from Blackburn, kept in touch with his younger namesake over lockdown, encouraging him to keep learning the guitar and send him videos of his progress. The older Jacob was inspired to keep in touch because he remembered meeting band the Indie Killers at a wedding when he was a child; the musicians took the time to have a chat with him and take pictures, and it encouraged him to pick up his guitar. The band played again at his dad’s 40th birthday and Jacob had the opportunity to play with them on stage.

The singer-songwriter subsequently offered the young Jacob a part in his new music video. He told the Lancashire Telegraph that “Jacob was a lot of fun in the video and it was nice to meet him because I had been chatting with his dad on Twitter…The video features people of different ages and generations — and so I invited Jacob to be in it because he is young, and we have two Jacobs in the video.”

The new single is called ‘Everything’s Alright’, and comes out on the 18th June.
