In a harmonious collaboration, the choir and the death metal band joined forces and recorded three captivating tracks together. The village hall in the county became a sanctuary of creativity as forty choir members lent their voices to the band’s new tunes for the mesmerizing Riddles of the Sycophants album.

Since then, the band has been on an exhilarating musical journey, captivating audiences across Europe with their symphonic melodies. From enchanting performances in France, Switzerland, Germany, to the captivating landscapes of Finland, Ghosts of Atlantis has left an indelible mark on the hearts of their listeners.

Colin Parks said, “You think death metal and stuff, you think maybe some alcohol, but it was tea and hobnobs.” He went on to say, “They are a community choir, and we are obviously from Suffolk as well, and it was nice that two worlds collided to do something a bit unique that no-one else was really doing. It has given fans a chance to listen to something that our fans wouldn’t have normally experienced and vice versa and I think we have seen quite a nice crossover which breaks down barriers and that was important.”

Pop Chorus director Yula Andrews said, “We’re always trying to create memorable experiences for our singers…sometimes opportunities you’ve never even dreamed of jump out at you. I couldn’t resist putting us forward to record with Ghosts Of Atlantis. Our singers are always keen to embrace a new challenge!”

With a staggering fan base of over 6,000 followers on Instagram, the band’s popularity continues to soar. Their second album, accompanied by the enchanting harmonies of the Pop Chorus, was released just last week. The pop choir featured on “Lands of Snows”, “Empires Burn at Dawn”, and title track from the album “Riddles of the Sycophants”

The band have not held back with this year’s tour. Starting on the 24th of July, just after they release Starcatcher, they will be performing at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. And they will make their way around various countries all the way through until December where they will be making their grand finale in Lisbon, Portugal, at the Campo Pequeño, performing alongside Black Honey.

It is a grand tour which will be seeing the best of American arena shows throughout July, August and September before finally crossing the pond in November. Europeans will be happy to know that they will be visiting more countries than originally imagines, such as Germany, the Netherlands, France, Belgium, the UK, Ireland, Denmark, Italy, Spain and, as mentioned before, Portugal. Most of these mentioned shows are to be held in arena stadiums. They do not go easy.

In just three years Van Fleet have gone from hopping through Detroit bars to selling out Arena tours quicker than a dog could lick a dish clean. Best known for their fans favourite “Safari Song”, “Highway Tune” and “Black Smoke Rising” from their debut album.

Within the creation of this ten track album, the musicians reflect and explore the duality of fantasy versus reality and the contrast between light and darkness. Hence the naming of the album Starcatcher. We had this idea that we wanted to tell these stories to build a universe,” says Wagner in a press release. “We wanted to introduce characters and motifs and these ideas that would come about here and there throughout our careers through this world.”

The album is a follow up from their last, of which they have taken concepts from to apply to their newly constructed project, in another formality. They have teased us with a previously released single of the lot “Meeting The Master”. Within music different questions lead to different answers. But their general concept stands the same. The band is very well known for their live performances and have never failed to sell out arena tours, such as the ones waiting ahead of them.

The band have their local tour coming up this summer before they set off to the UK. On the 13th of October they will be kick starting in London at the Roundhouse. As from here, their journey becomes a pickled one. Jumping from one country to the other, they will make their way around Europe visiting from the UK to Germany, Norway, France, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, Poland, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

Their final destination relies on the quiet Finland on the 21st of November. A good move from the bands part, what better place to choose from other than a rock head country who relies on their loud riffs to elevate from their peaceful stance as a country. Playing in Tampere they will wrap up with a heavy heart.

We welcome this tour as the celebration of their upcoming album release of Darkfighter, set to be released on the 2nd of June this year (2023). Allowing enough time between the release and their tour in order for the fans to absorb their fresh sound, willing them to experience the live shows with an eager anticipation. Three songs have already been released from the album. These include “Bird in the Hand”, “Nobody Wants To Die” and “Rapture”.

A first glimpse of the band since their last studio album in 2019, Feral Roots. An album which took flight from the roaring success and was claimed the best rock album of that very year. They now come back with a fresh set of ears and a four year rejuvenation to their musical development.

“Dear friends on the other side of the pond, Darkfighter is coming for you,” mentions their guitarist Scott Holiday . “And Lightbringer is coming for you too. We’re finally able to come back to you and bring you NEW music! Music that has been firmly situated in our hearts. Nothing makes me happier than to think about experiencing these albums together and making them into something entirely new and different every night. Let’s make something symbiotic and alive that we’ll want to remember forever.”

They have taken the time to write and create this project. Really delving into the meaning behind the creative process and perceiving the album in two parts. On one side, the story tells the fighting of the darkness. And the other side explains bringing the light to where there is none. After Darkfighter they will be releasing a companion album later this year Lightbringer. You can see which story involves what. The build up couldn’t be more tense.

The tune comes to say its fellow greetings today as the second release of their, hopefully soon to be announced, album release. It comes after the first drop of the LP “How 2 Dance”, released late last year (2022). A song admittedly inspired by a session the band had a while ago with Nile Rogers. “Nile Rodgers is a force to be reckoned with” they admit, “He does make you think about dancing quite a lot! He’s an amazing man to write songs with.”

“Jealousy”, as well as the upcoming album from the English rock band, has been the collaborative outcome from Amir Amor’s (member of Rudimental) production input. And co-written by the songwriter genius Henry Tucker, the Leeds based producer Lewis Thompson and RISC.

Kaiser Chiefs frontman, Ricky Wilson, has announced that we should be expecting the release of said album this year. However, even though it the date will be creeping up on us and two pre releases have been offered, they still have not unveiled the name of said project. It is how you master the art of creating suspense for an exciting piece of news. What we do know about the disc is that it comes as a follow up from their last album release Duck from 2019 as their seventh studio album.

The band will be performing their new songs during their tour this summer. A scattered tour with performances in the UK and dotted locations around Europe. They have a couple of shows before they officially kick off next month in Cornwall. On the 15th April they will be playing in London at Dingwalls. On the 13th May they will be performing at Perranporth Beach and make their way through Bridlington, Santiago de Compostela, Lytham St Annes, Greenwich, Benicàssim, Ludlow, Warwick, Galway, Penrith, Stoke-On-Trent and finally finish in Saltash, once again in Cornwall, on the 25th of August.

It’s a catchy tune, not dissimilar to the rest of the bands discography. They believe this new episode of music to be a fun one to dance to. As a follow up of Duck, expect another batch of pop-dance music instead of their older alternative indie approaches. Get your tickets whilst they’re still available.

The documentary will go globally live on Netflix on the 5th April, 2023. Named “Lewis Capaldi; How I’m Feeling Now“, the film is in partnership with Netflix, BMG and Pulse Films and executive produced by Independent Entertainment, BMG and Quickfire Films.

The fact that the creation of the documentary started around four years ago, it picks up insights of the singers most crucial moments facing towards his career. It captures Capaldi’s struggle as a young pop artist, holding an absurd weight of fame on his shoulders he had to balance a life within his household. It shows a battle for normality, the making of a new album and the representation of the latter in his own words. It is essentially about the popstar going back to his roots and reconnecting with the life he had before.

Ever since the scottish singer released his debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent back in 2019 he’s kicked off on a ceaseless streak. Becoming a worldwide best seller, it will be interesting to delve into unseen footage and stories. It is a chance for Capaldi to showcase where the interesting character he is, comes from.

Not long after the documentary release, we will also be granted with a follow up release from his debut album. The scotsman will be releasing a studio album Broken By Desire To Be Heavenly Sent only fourteen days later on the 19th May, 2023. The emotional rollercoaster has taken a hold on him, bearing in mind the circumstances, and sits clearly in his upcoming sound to be released. He mentions “I don’t want to create a new sound for myself, or reinvent myself. The songs I want to write are emotional songs, about love or loss.”

To fully air tighten the bag, he started his Worldwide tour earlier this year. Following up with his two big project releases, he set off this January on his journey. Starting in Leeds at the Direct Arena on the 14th January he has not stopped since. On the 30th March he will be crossing the pond to tour through the US, to then come back over to Italy, Switzerland, Australia, following onto the UK and finally finishing off in Athens, Greece on the 16th September. A journey and a half, that’s for sure.

This new release is a retreat for Morrison. Playing the smoky music he was brought up with, he reminisces about where he comes from, to which he adds a smooth soulful modernisation without fully ridding of its initial essence. As a child, when he first started delving into the musical world in Belfast, he played in a skiffle band which was a rooting of what sort of music he was passionate about.

Moving On Skiffle will be a 23 track album hosting a combination of enduring classics of the era enhanced by the musicians rollicking stylistic input as well as original arrangements and entailing lyrical twists. Steaming from the folky roots, a skiffle fest is well on its way. He has successfully kept the ice cold by gradually releasing singles from the LP. Five tracks are now live, featuring unbeatable timeless tracks of the era.

He first released “Streamline Train” a few months back. A song originally written by the American blues singer Red Nelson in 1936. The crackly bygone recording has taken and moulded into a soulful strutting version by Morrison. He then released “I’m Moving On”, a country standard first released by Hank Snow in the 1950’s. Taking a classic sound to remake the ethos of the country folk chime and inducing his characteristic twist as well as some finishing gospel backing vocal touches.

“Worried Man Blues” is the third single release of the album. Another skiffle cover of an original written song by Carter Family in 1964. A track many blues artists have re written and reimagined but never failed to hold it’s magical purity. Following these he releases “This Loving Light Of Mine”, a rolling interpretation of Harry Dixons “This Little Light Of Mine” back in 1962. Finally, Van Morrison has just released his last single “Freight Train”. Positioning the track as the starting song of the bunch to perfectly set the scene for the experience about to unfold. It is a jazzed up version of Elizabeth Cotten’s writing, with a few added vocal harmonies and organ inputs.

The album is just around the corner and expect the enlivened robustness of the 1950’s skiffle moulded into a brand new album. An album global tour is to come along with its release, set to start on the 13th March in Milton Keynes and run through until the 19th September, finishing on the other side of the world in California, USA.

Sykes spoke with BANG Showbiz concerning the band’s touring schedule and the process taken to produce the new album, “We’re doing lots of gigs hopefully, if the world goes alright. Lots of European festivals and we’re going to the States in September. And hopefully a new record. We’ve been working on it for about a year now, we’ve got lots of music we’re just being quite picky about what we want to release. We must have about 45 songs.”

The Sheffield rockers’ follow up to Post Human: Survival Horror has not yet received an official release date but buzz surrounding the group’s next instalment has already started. Last year, fans were given a taster for band’s next album with the release of the new single “Die4u“. The track was released on 16th September 2021 and was confirmed as the lead single for the band’s hotly anticipated album. To promote the single’s release, Bring Me The Horizon performed an acoustic rendition of the track on the legendary Live Lounge show on BBC Radio 1. The single proved to be a commercial success and reached number forty-one on the UK singles charts and topped the UK Rock and Metal charts.

Often abbreviated to BMTH, the current lineup consists of four original members; lead vocalist Oli Sykes, bassist Matt Kean, guitarist Lee Malia and drummer Matt Nicholls. The quintet also includes the newest member Jordan Fish, keyboardist, percussionist and backing vocalist, who joined the group in 2012. Since their formation and debut release, the group has become a mainstay of British rock music. The band’s first album, Count Your Blessings, was released on 30th October 2006 and propelled the group into fame and commercial success. The band’s sixth studio album Amo was released on 25th January 2019 and became the group’s first number one within the UK album charts.

The group have made headlines for their recent string of collaborations, the most recent being their partnership with Sigrid. The group worked with the Norwegian singer on the track “Bad Life”, which reached number 28 on the UK charts and appeared on her album How To Let Go. Earlier in the month, BMTH also teamed up with Masked Wolf on the track “Fallout”, the single was teased during the end of March via the band’s TikTok account with videos that featured a snippet of the song. Last month, the band worked with American rapper Machine Gun Kelly on the track “Maybe”. The single was released on 16th March 2022 and marked the band’s second collaboration for 2022. The group’s first joint release was a remix of Ed Sheeran’s “Bad Habits”, the hard rock-influenced version originated from the acts’ BRIT award performance in February.

The band’s string of European festival appearances are set to begin at the end of the month, which will begin on 26th-30th May 2022 with a set at Malta Weekender. Before a series of American festivals in the autumn, the band’s live schedule includes an appearance at this year’s Reading and Leeds festival.

Due to the album’s success within the physical market, FTHC has been named this week’s top seller within UK’s Independent record shops, the album also dominated within the Official Record Store chart, Official Vinyl Albums chart. Turner’s most recent release also topped the Official Americana Album Charts, a list consisting of the top-selling Americana albums which are partnered with the Americana Music Association UK.

Turner has spoken with OfficialCharts.com concerning his win, “Getting a Number 1 album is crazy, it’s not a thing I ever thought would happen to me and it’s happened on my ninth album. That feels particularly crazy and awesome, and I’m proud of it. It feels quite fitting that, of all the records I’ve put out, this is the one that got the Number 1 trophy. I’m very proud of the record; it’s a more intense, more personal record.

The singer continued to discuss his new album, “At this point in my career I have to dig deep to prove to myself and everybody else that I’ve still got a reason to be making records and making art, and this Number 1 award is a pretty good justification of that. I’m very painfully aware that I did not do this on my own, so it’s not just my band, label and manager; it’s everybody who picked up a copy. I’m incredibly grateful, thank you very much.”

Before this week, Turner saw chart success with his previous eight studio albums charting within the UK top 75. The singer’s fifth studio album, Tape Deck Heart, was released in 2013 and reached number two within the UK album charts. Turner’s next studio album, Positive Songs For Negative People was released in 2015 and also charted at number two. The 40-year-old artist’s recent release followed from his 2019 album No Man’s Land which also saw chart success and placed at number 3 within the UK album charts.

Elsewhere with this week’s chart, two platinum certified albums have placed within the top five. Sheeran’s recent release, Equals, has held strong at number two and Adele’s 30 remains a top seller at number four. Indie rockers Alt-J have charted at number three with their fourth studio album The Dream, released on 11th February 2022 via Infectious Music and Canvasback Music/Atlantic Records. Closing the top five is Slash and Myles Kennedy’s new collaboration album 4, the release marks the fourth album released by the iconic guitarist and Kennedy.

This week’s chart includes many newly released albums, charting at number six is James Morrison’s Greatest Hits which was released on 11th February 2022. The album debuted within the top 5, with a tracklist full of reworked recordings of the singer’s most beloved songs. The excitement surrounding this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show is apparent within this week’s chart; Eminem’s Curtain Call: The Hits has re-entered the top ten and placed at number eight. The rapper’s first greatest hits album was released in 2005 and was last seen within the UK top ten in 2006, released via Interscope the album spent five weeks at number one.

The deluxe album entitled Spice25 will feature the original songs,  remixes, bonus songs, previously unheard songs and B sides. The group shared a version of their previous number 1 single “Say You’ll Be There” on September 1st with the harmonica replaced with a saxophone solo in celebration of the album.

The band were originally called Touch and were formed in 1994 with band members Victoria Adams (Posh Spice), Melanie Brown (Mel B/ Scary Spice), Emma Bunton (Baby Spice), Melanie Chisholm (Mel C/ Sporty Spice) and Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice).

The band are known for promoting Girl Power and their success began with their iconic debut single “Wannabe”. The single sparked global success and hit the number 1 spot in the UK Official Singles Charts when it was released on June 26th 1996.

The band achieved further success with the release of their debut album Spice originally released on September 19th 1996. The album sold over 23 million copies with the follow-up album Spice World released on November 1st 1997 selling 14 million copies.

The band has scored 9 number 1 singles and has sold 100 million albums worldwide thus making them the biggest selling girl band of all time. The bands popular singles include their first Christmas number 1 single “2 Become 1″ (1996), “Who Do You Think You Are” (1996), “Mama” (1996), “Spice Up Your Life” (1997), “Stop” (1997), “Viva Forever” (1997), “Holler” (2000) and “Goodbye” (2000).

Halliwell left the band on May 31st 1998 and embarked on a solo career. The band continued as a four-piece until they all sought solo careers. The band reunited on June 28th 2007 for their tour The Return of The Spice Girls as a five-piece.

On November 5th 2018 the band returned as a four-piece without Adams (Know known as Victoria Beckham following her marriage to ex-footballer David Beckham) for their tour entitled The Spice World Tour 2019.

All members of the band have children and have continued to pursue solo projects over the years with T.V presenting roles coming from Mel B with X-Factor, America’s Got Talent and Lip Sync Battle UK. Mel C released solo material.

Bunton also embarked on a solo career and Halliwell following her solo career presented All Together Now and was a judge on Australia’s Got Talent. Beckham also went on to release solo material, she also created her fashion line and continues to work in the fashion industry.

The release of the 25th Anniversary album includes all band members, who to mark the 25th Anniversary of their single “Wannabe” released an EP that included previously unreleased demo’s. In respect to the upcoming release, Bunton said “It’s been 25 years of pure magic. Spice Girls forever!”

Chisholm stated, “This is the record that set us off on our incredible journey. A huge thank you to our fans and family all around the World” Halliwell said, “Whoever you are, whatever your dreams – live them, be them. The Spice Girls motto is testament to that”

Brown said, “I thank everyone who has ever bought a Spice Girls record or stood in the rain to greet us” and Beckham concluded “We couldn’t let 25 years pass without thanking the fans for their incredible support” Spice25 is to be released on October 29 and is to be packaged as a 2 cd set, with an A5 hardback book.

There is to also be a variety of vinyl and cassette versions of the album, as well as the use of Dolby Atmos for an exclusive Apple remastered edition of the original album. Bunton said that she is sure that the band will tour again in the future.
