The original EP was met with mixed reviews from fans, but did receive very high critic praise when it was released. The success of the album was incomparable to the Body Talk series, however, Do It Again still went into the top 20 album charts in the UK and became the first number-one Dance/Electronic album that either Robyn or Röyksopp ever received.

The release of the remixed Monument was in celebration of The Knife’s 20th anniversary of the band on January 29th. The official release has come with a statement saying that “This is the first time Olof has worked with the duo, having previously worked with Robyn across projects on Konichiwa Records.” Indicating that the three Scandinavian artists have been working up to this collaboration.

When describing the sound of the new track, a press release stated that “for the rework, Olof brings his signature warm and percussive sound to the chart-topping single. The track is accompanied by a visualizer from Martin Falck who has previously collaborated with The Knife, Bjork, Fever Ray and Robyn.”

The Knife has also celebrated its 20th anniversary with releasing rare music previously unreleased tracks from the last two decades of their career. They also uploaded their music onto the streaming platform Bandcamp for more listeners to enjoy their music over the years.

Robyn’s latest album Honey was released in 2018 and received critical acclaim once again for the artist. Most recently she teamed up with Jonsi for the track Salt Licorice, a collaboration fans have been long awaiting. Monument is now available for streaming on all platforms and can be seen above.

The Spring-time album gained Four Tet his highest chart position of his long career, putting the record at #34 in the UK charts, beating out his 5th full-length album which managed to reach #35 at its peak. The new albums have come only 8 months after Sixteen Oceans, without any singles released or fore-announcements, no music videos have been released as of this time though streaming is available on all platforms now.

Four Tet has released a long list of new music in the year 2020, apart from his critically acclaimed Sixteen Oceans he has also been busy releasing many collaborations with a slew of artists throughout the UK and on. The single Road of the Lonely Ones was released with the artist Madlib off his first solo album Sound Ancestors. 

Even as recently as early in December, Four Tet collaborated with both Thom Yorke and Burial on the record including the duo tracks His Rope and Her Revolution. This was the second duo record that the three artists coordinated on, the first exclusively physically released nearly 10 years prior.

Four Tet is known for his mixing abilities, even the latest Madlib album was credited to him for the sound engineering, a skill he brought to his first, second and third albums of 2020. 2021 has yet to announce any live in-person tour-dates as of yet considering safety concerns surrounding the ongoing Covid-10 pandemic health-crisis.

Four Tet has a livestream going on YouTube which has been streaming ongoing since October. The stream is a mix of instrumentals by Four Tet and artwork by Anna Lewis, the purpose of the stream is unknown, however, it gives fans just a little more Tet content this year.
