As part of the worldwide tour for their critically acclaimed album, ‘Simulation Theory‘, which was released in 2018, Muse will be returning to the UK for a handful of massive shows. This will see the band heading to venues in London, Bristol and Manchester, this June.

Following the announcement that icon Tom Morello, from Rage Against The Machine, would be joining the band as a special guest, it has now been confirmed that Pale Waves will also be supporting Muse, at all of their UK shows, as well. The quartet, who released their debut album, ‘My Mind Makes Noises’ back in September of 2018, are currently touring with The 1975, in America, but will be back in plenty of time to join Muse on their stadium tour.

Muse are scheduled to kick start the UK leg of their worldwide tour, at London Stadium, in London, on the 1st of June 2019, visiting Bristol, before concluding the three-date tour, at Etihad Stadium, in Manchester, on the 8th of June 2019.

Speaking about their stage show, Muse drummer, Dom Howard, said: “That’s the thing — it’s becoming unsustainable. This is very much about the spectacle, this tour, but the antithesis would be to do something that’s purely about the music and nothing else, which is most likely what we’ll do in the future. At this stage, I don’t know. It’s either back down to Earth or straight into space.”

The news that Pale Wave will join Muse on tour comes after, the band recently announced a UK headline tour of their own, which will see the quartet kick start the four-date tour off, in Glasgow, on the 23rd of September 2019, heading to Birmingham and London, before a concluding show, in Manchester, on the 2th of September 2019.

This year has been a busy and impressive on for the band, who are continuing to gather momentum following the release of their hotly anticipated debut album, My Mind Makes Noises’. Speaking to NME, about when we can expect a follow-up album, with new material, to ‘My Mind Makes Noises’, Heather, said: “I have no idea when the next album is coming out, but hopefully there’ll be an EP soon. We’re actually going to go a lot more pop punk and rock’n’roll. Ciara and I have started writing a new EP and it is completely different to the album.”

Explaining how their second EP could be different, Heather continued, “We are a very political people and we have view of things. The next body of work we’ll be releasing dives into that world more. In the sense of accepting who you are with sexuality and your views on life. We didn’t want to go super political, as I don’t know if it’s our time to do that, but definitely expressing our views to do that.”
