The track will be the first track Huncho has put out since his “Hiatus (Freestyle)” which was his last of 2021. The track was only the 3rd solo release the rapper had put out in 2021, with the 28-year-old having put out a number of features alongside Potter Payper, Unknown T, Nafe Smallz and Yxng Bane.

The collaboration between M Huncho and Headie will be the 5th time the pair have appeared on a track together. The two first collaborated in 2018 alongside Headie One regular collaborator RV and engineer Fumez the engineer on the track “Art of War”, Huncho then featured on Headie’s first solo project The One and featured Huncho on the track “Secure The Bag”. Following their success the two linked up again 2 years later, Headie One featured M Huncho on the track “Bumpy Rides” which featured on Headies chart-topping Album Edna. The Tottenham rapper then repaid the favour and featured on Huncho’s last solo project Huncholinin the 1st, which got the rapper his first top 10 project with Huncholini the 1st debuting at 5th. Headie featured on the track titled “Head Huncho”.

Both rappers have had a quiet 2021, with Headie releasing a project titled “Beggars can’t be choosers” with the rest of his release being singles that would eventually feature on the project. The rapper went on to end 2021 with a number of features with international rap stars, the first being a track with Italian rapper Shiva in the track “Aston Martin” and then on the track “10von10” with two german rappers Luciano and Pajel .

The rappers will be looking to kick 2022 off correctly with their upcoming collaboration, as well as M Huncho’s farewell tour set to take place in March.

Headie One and M Huncho’s track “Warzone” is set to release this coming Thursday and can be pre-saved here.

The rapper naming his upcoming tour the ‘Farewell Tour’ has left fans in confusion with the comments on his recent post filled with fans questioning what he is saying farewell to. Many fans are assuming he is saying farewell to his mask due to it being so prominent in the tour poster, while others fear he is saying farewell to music as a whole. Huncho is a religious man, following the Islamic religion where the music he creates is perceived as haram. If this is Huncho’s farewell to the music he won’t be the first artist to turn away from creating music due to religious reasons, with Chunkz quitting his music career in May 2021.

M Huncho released his last project Huncholini the 1st nearly 2 years ago in January 2020 and had planned a tour following the projects release announcing dates and selling tickets, unfortunately, the Covid-19 pandemic cancelled these shows, making this tour Huncho’s first tour since the release of his last project which reached number 5 in the national charts.

The ‘Farewell Tour’ will take place between the 6th of March to the 27th, and will see the northwest London rapper visit 12 cities across the United Kindom. The rapper will kick off his tour in Nottingham going on to Manchester, Sheffield, Norwich, Birmingham, Bristol, Southampton, Cardiff, London, Newcastle, Dublin, and then his final stop in Glasgow.

The tour dates are listed as:

06/03/2022 – Nottingham – Rock City
08/03 – Manchester – Academy
09/03 – Sheffield – Leadmill

M Hunchos latest release wasn’t that long ago, dropping off “Breadwinners” in early September which was released following a 9 month fast of solo music, which prior to this saw his last solo release in 2019.

Huncho may have starved his fans off solo music but in the last 2 years, the northwest Londoner has released a number of collaborations including tracks alongside Potter Payper, Unknown T, Yxng bane and Nafe Smallz. In addition to these singles, the rapper released a joint project alongside regular collaborator Nafe Smallz, the project titled DNA featured 13 songs and featured tracks such as “5 AM” and “Flooded” which have a combined 20 million streams on Spotify. The project dropped independently via the two artists and peaked in the charts at 6th and stayed in the charts for a consecutive 4 weeks.

The rappers last solo project was in February 2020 and was the rappers second studio album and his highest-charting project giving the rapper his highest-charting release charting in the top 5 and staying in the charts for 10 consecutive weeks.

Huncho’s Instagram post suggest that there may be an upcoming Huncho project with many blog pages suggesting the 27-year-old is preparing to drop a new project in the near future.

Away from his own music Huncho is preparing for his first-ever festival next year in Barcelona called “Hunchoz Wrld”. The festival has already announced the phase 1 lineup with Berwyn, CVSS, Denz and Renz, Kenny Allstar, M1llionz, ShaSimone, Tiffany Calver and Unknown T, already having been announced to perform at the festival set to take place on May 13th 2022 to the 16th.

While it is Potters song, M Hunchos feature covers the hook and a few verses. The duo both from East London make ‘Catch up’ their first-ever song together and didn’t disappoint.

Huncho is known for his mask and anonymity but his distinct sound and style make it easy to put a voice to the name. The faceless rapper is on a feature run having just appeared alongside Unknown T on his recent single ‘Wonderland’ which featured on Ts new project ‘Adolescence’.

M Huncho made his name in 2017 appearing on Keny Allstar mad about bars in which he has gained over 22 million views. In his freestyle, over 4 years ago he started his second verse with “Smoking pots of green listening to Potter Payper”.

Despite only being 30, Potter Payper has been rapping for over 10 years and his music and influence has been felt by nearly all the artists coming through the UK rap scene within the last 5 years. Whether it’s a reference from M Huncho or Stormzy shouting him out on the Glastonbury mainstage, Potter Paypers years of grinding have helped to solidify him as a UK rap legend.

After the success of his last mixtape ‘training day 3’ which charted at 3rd on the official charts and was the first full-length project since the rapper 3-year break from music due to spending some time in jail. The recent single looks as though it could be a lead up to the Potter Payper album that the rapper has teased will drop in 2021.
