The viral track “Packs and Potions” was released 3 weeks ago after the Liverpool rapper went viral on social media site Tiktok with his verse on a u-18 BlackBox cypher, which was originally uploaded on YouTube. The freestyle was uploaded onto streaming sites under the title “Lone Ranger” and managed to reach 61st in the official charts after picking up 3.4 million streams on Spotify alone.

The video for the official track sits on 3.8 million views just 3 weeks after release, and on the Liverpool rapper’s own channel.  It also found itself at 26th on the official charts on its debut week before jumping 8 places to 18th on the second week. The release of the remix at midnight will hopefully aid the track to fly up the charts.

The remix of “Packs and Potions” has a very impressive feature list, the first feature Digga D is one of the biggest rappers not only in the drill scene but in the UK scene as a whole. The west London rapper kicked off 2022 with the release of his highly anticipated track “Pump 101” and managed to earn his 3rd top 10 with the track debuting on the charts at 9th. Unknown T is the next feature, and after a year that saw the rapper saw release a top 10 project but also sell out a nationwide tour and a feature in the Louis Vuitton campaign, the remix will be the rapper’s first appearance of 2022. M1llionz is the final feature, with the northwest Birmingham rapper appearing on the track for the first time since the release of his GRM daily duppy in December 2021.

The features on the upcoming remix includes a number of rappers from different areas of the UK, all with very unique styles and flows. The remix is set to release at midnight and with the original being available to listen to here.

The trailer was released alongside the caption “Don’t look through da peep, when you hear the door knockin. Out soon”. The caption is a lyric from the track “Mobbin”, a track that has gained nearly half a million Spotify streams without a video and was the standout track from M1llionz tape with fans using the song to make videos on Instagram and Tiktok.
The post received love from fans and artists alike with names such as Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge and Potter Payper all in the Birmingham rappers comment anticipating the new drop.

The trailer starts with a shot in an apartment in Paris, Clichy-sous-Bois a commune in the eastern suburbs of Paris. The video looks to have been shot in that area with M1llionz and 100s of balaclava-wearing men performing in and around these blocks.

This video will be M1llionz first release since he dropped his debut project Provisional License on the 17th of September, despite being his debut project the tape was well received and found its way int to the top 10 of the official charts following its first week sales.  This was M1llionz highest-charting release and the highest-charting debut drill tape of 2021, with the Birmingham rapper having had 7 single releases that all made the top 100.

Following the release of the M1llionz project, the 24-year-old is preparing for his “Provisional License tour” which is set to kick off on the 10th of November in the rappers home town, Birmingham at an already sold-out show at Birminghams 02 institute. The tour will continue till the 17th, stopping off in Manchester, Dublin and London.

The video for “Mobbin” is yet to have a release date with the artist stating it was “Out soon”.

The 24-year-old took to his Instagram following the release of his single “Regular bag” to share he will be dropping his first project.

In the caption that the north-west Birmingham rapper shared with his 260 thousand followers, he told fans that he has been taking his time working with different artists and producers around the world in order to fully understand his music and has used his time not only to prepare his debut project but his next 3.

The project title is Provisional license, a title chosen due to M1llionz having been on a driving ban while recording and creating the music. M1llionz unique flow changed the way in which people approached a drill beat, his ability to rap in different pockets of beat all while ensuring the creation of his catchy and well-received tracks. This is work M1lllionz is aware of having put in his caption announcing the project that “Drill has given me a good platform to showcase my talent, I’m trying to elevate the sound and make it possible for the genre to transcend all the natural stereotypes.”

The project will be 12 tracks long and will contain 4 features. Headie one will appear alongside M1llion on the 4th track “Air BnB”, Aj Tracey will appear on the title track “Provisional License”, the previously released track “How Many Times” will appear on the album featuring fellow Birmingham artist Lotto Ash, and rapper/producer Jevon will feature on the final track “Hometown”.

 The feature on M1llionz debut project are some of the biggest artists in the country. Headie one has changed the perception of drill music having topped the charts with his Debut Album Edna, AJ Tracey is the king of charting having had 7 top 10s and 16 top 40s in his career. It is clear what Lotto Ash is able to do with “How many times” having already being released debuting on the official charts and gaining just under 2 million views on youtube. Jevon is one of the most talented artist in the UK and despite never gaining mainstream success and stardom, his music is respected and appreciated by a core fan base and by fellow UK artists.

The plugs records have been the catalyst behind a lot of the US and UK collaborations often mixing the younger UK and US generations.

The Plug released their first project in 2019 and featured collaborations between D-Block Europe and Offset, Roddy rich, Chip and Yxng Bane, and Wstrn and Lil Baby. The tape titled ‘Plug Talk’ had 13 tracks with 17 UK acts, 11 North American acts, French rapper Lacrim and Dutch artist 3Robi.

‘Father figure’ sees The Plug between two of the most unique flows in global rap with M1llionz and G Herbo. The track will be released at 9 pm on Grm daily and with only a few seconds of the M1llionz verse in the single teaser posted by the UK music channel, it can be heard that M1llionz will be giving a flow that fans of him will not have yet heard. 

The last M1llions release was in early June with his take on 50 cents ‘Candy shop’ with the similarly named ‘Bando spot’, the track that was released independently by M1llionzs label ten per cent music and charted at 65th. Since M1llionz has been away relaxing posting photos of his recent trip to Greece with his Instagram followers as well as this he and his management have been teasing an upcoming project.

G Herbo is a legend of US drill music, releasing music for over 6 years the Chicago rapper has released 10 projects. Releasing his latest project ‘25’ last Friday, the 19 track project will give the artist a good buzz ahead of the release of his collaboration with M1llionz.
