Furthermore, the caption with the image reads: “CHVRCHing from home this week. Back soon.” At this time, the intentions of the band, responsible for hits ‘Here With Me’, ‘Forever’ as well as their titular contribution to 2019’s Death Stranding soundtrack, are unknown.

Recently, Chvrches created the titular track for the soundtrack to Death Stranding. Talking about the song, Chvrches hailed working with game director Hideo Kojima, saying: “He has always been such a visionary in the gaming world and we were honoured to be involved in the project.”

They described the concept of the game to be “unique”, adding that it “really felt to us like it was challenging people to care about the world they create — in the game and otherwise.”

They added: “We wrote this song specifically for ‘Death Stranding’, thinking of the themes of the game and what it is trying to say to people.”

In March, Chvrches also collaborated with American producer Marshmello on ‘Here With Me’. It was revealed following the unveiling of their third album, ‘Love Is Dead’, awarded four stars in an NME review.

It reads: “In these times, it would be surprising to find the band looking inward, and ‘Love Is Dead’ manages to balance hopeful, utopian pop with a darker, gloomier undercurrent. Love may not be dead after all, but if you ask CHVRCHES, the onus is on all of us to try and keep it alive.”
