Starsailor emerged as one of the most influential British bands of the post-Britpop era. The band is best known for chart-topping singles such as ‘Good Souls’ and ‘Alcoholic’ from their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Love Is Here‘ (2001), which solidified their place in the UK music scene and continues to be a favourite amongst fans. Their most successful song on the UK Singles Chart is ‘Silence Is Easy’, which peaked at No. 9 in 2003. This remains their highest-charting single in the UK and was the lead track from their second album, ‘Silence Is Easy‘ (2003). The song helped solidify their presence in the British alternative rock scene.The band said on Instagram: “Join us for six European shows in October and nine UK gigs in November as we play a career-spanning set in recognition of our two-and-a-half decades together. We cannot wait to return to some of our favourite cities and play to fans who have followed us since the early days.”
