Debuting the latest collection of her eponymous menswear brand LUEDER at London Fashion Week 2025, the designer swapped the catwalk for the dance floor, traditional models for London-based queer ravers OPIA, pushing music to the forefront with a live techno set from the DJs and producers, Two Shell. Playing original tracks throughout the entirety of the show, the duo also exclusively debuted their new single ‘Oops…’ at the event – a fact pointed out by Lueder herself who wore a white tank top with the track title in promotion.

Two Shell previously released the ‘Oops…’ preview on YouTube February 7, stating its official release date as February 28. The single’s special debut at the LUEDER show comes as a surprise to fans since the collaboration had no prior announcement. The 30 second-long preview videoclip demonstrates the duo’s eclectic sound, featuring a fast-paced drilling bass line, decorated by a repetitive, distorted female vocal refrain, giving listeners a taste of the techno rave’s atmosphere. In a statement for Dazed Fashion magazine, Lueder touched upon the inspiration behind the collection, citing Two Shell’s techno style as the foundation for her work. She continued: “Being in a club for me is quite a spiritual experience, and I think that is what LUEDER is all about, like kind of bringing people together. I wanted something really present and in the now, and that is all together and not thinking about tomorrow, and I think that’s what is was about, that’s what London is about for me.”

German-born, London-based designer Lueder also mentioned the whereabouts of Two Shell, revealing that the duo hadn’t wanted to been physically seen by the audience, instead opting to play their live set from a confined box with flashing strobe lights and a pulsating sound system that indicate their ‘spiritual presence’. This keeps in line with the Two Shell’s signature style: anonymous in nature, the pair have never revealed their identities publicly. Releasing music since 2019, the enigmatic techno duo have kept up their obscurity through their famed stunts: sending stand-ins to DJ on their behalf, using actors for promo shoots to name but a few. Nonetheless, Two Shell have become a well regarded act within techno, collaborating with many high-profile act as such as Sugababes and FKA Twigs, following the release of their self-titled debut album in 2024. Their Boiler Room set at Primevera Sound Barcelona in 2022 was a particularly notable moment from the duo, with over 110k views on YouTube.

Aside from the LUEDER collaboration, Two Shell have a few announced shows in 2025, including an expected appearance at Waterworks Festival in Gunnersbury Park, London September 13.

London Fashion Week. That few days every year where the stylishly beautiful from all over the globe flock to the capital to check up on what kind of frocks will be adorned in the coming months. Models stride up and down the catwalk parading the latest designs from Mulberry, Thomas Tait and co, while the leading names in music, film and television glare in the crowd, taking note of what to wear and what to avoid. But tucked away from the glitz and glamour of it all is a hidden gem, a place that celebrates LFW on it’s own.

Beyond Retro is a clothes shop unlike those on the high street. It couldn’t be any different to them in fact, instead preferring to look back to the styles of yesteryear. It takes the best of fashion from the 20th century and puts them all into one relatively small shop, meaning whichever way you look your eyes will light up. There’s a whole corner dedicated to denim jackets, bomber jackets seen from the 80s onwards, knitwear from the 50s and 60s, the list is endless. Beyond Retro don’t look to the future for future fashion ideas, when they know there is still so much hidden treasure to be found. Which can also be said for the day’s headline act, Caviare Days. Effortlessly cool and suave, within seconds of listening to the Swedish group you will immediately feel a throwback to music gone by. A combination of 60s rock with psychedelic dashes thrown in and you have a recipe for good music, which is exactly what is made by the quintet.

Consisting of sister vocalists Lina and Maja Westin, Boris Grubesic on guitar, Marcus Arborelius on keyboards and Timmy Grimm Fredriksson on drums, together they recreate the kind of music that they were bought up listening to, as well as some modern twists depending on the music they are listening to at the time of writing. “We all spent a lot of time listening to the records our parents had when we were younger, and that has kind of shaped our writing style”, claims Lina. “But we all listen to different styles now and bring that into our writing, so we get the best of everything I guess”.

“We don’t like giving our music a specific kind of genre as we just put together everything we listen to into our music”, Maja states. “We just hope that people listen to our stuff and like what they hear, which makes gigs like these so good for us, as people can just come along and check us out and hopefully follow us from then on. As money plays such a big role in the music industry these days we just play where we can and see where it takes us”. Judging by the line up of people wanting to talk to the group after the day’s performance, which includes upcoming single Who Deprived You Of Your Smile, it worked very well for them.

Who can blame them as well. It might not be the kind of machine made, manufactured pop tripe that infests the public’s ears on a daily basis, but that is part of the glory of it. It is incredibly easy to tell just by watching them on stage that they feel free when they are up there, from Maja’s constant jiggling to the exquisite solo’s strummed to perfection from Boris, they feel at home on stage. And if that’s the way they like it, that’s the way they should keep it.

Check out the video for You’ll Qualify below to get an idea of what Caviare Days are like, then go and get their self titled album. It won’t be something you’ll regret.

The bright up and coming quintet from Stockholm have been making big sounds in the music world lately, and have now started streaming their latest tune Who Deprived You Of Your Smile.

With a sound similar to that of late 60’s psychedelic it is definitely a throwback to yesteryear. But that is a part of their charm. Frontwomen Lina and Maja Westin share vocal duties, with an almost haunting presence but one that will draw you in and keep you reaching for the replay button. A catchy bassline introduces the track with a backing drum beat before the vocals say hello, and the next four minutes take you on a journey of psychedelic rock that hasn’t been heard for the best part of five decades. It’s something different to the repetitive auto-tune drawl that infests the mainstream charts these days, and boy is it refreshing to hear music so drastically different to what you normally hear.

The group are currently working with fellow Swedes Icona Pop as they continue to push their way up the musical ladder and into people’s ears. And with some help coming from some of Sweden’s most famous exports, Bjorn and Benny of ABBA fame, it would appear that the sky is the limit for the fivesome. A performance at the upcoming London Fashion Week on the 14th of September is set to increase the group’s already sterling reputation, so catch them while they’re hot.

Listen to Who Deprived You Of Your Smile below.
