The news came out yesterday along with the forthcoming World Tour that will begin this September. Both announcements were made with a partnership with an aerospace company, Sent Into Space. The information about the new album and display of the tour were first made from space where the renewable hydrogen capsule was launched, premiering Angels & Airwave’s new music.

Alongside the special announcement, the band also shared a second track from the new record, “Restless Souls“. As per the press release, the single “is written from the perspective of God as a letter to humanity regarding life’s trials and the necessity for humans to demonstrate resiliency“. Frontman Tom DeLonge said in a statement about the single, that: “in many ways is a honest letter from God to humanity – because life seems to be looking for ways to inspire, clarify and teach us when things become more difficult“. He also called the upcoming album: “a journey through different relationships, diferent points of view, and how we each have our own life path“.

Angels & Airwaves will start their world tour on 29th September 2021 in the United States, move to Europe in March 2022 to end it in Germany. Tickets will go on sale on 18th June at 10 AM local time. See below a full list of UK cities where the band will visit. Tickets are available here.
