Self-proclaimed ‘more popular than Jesus’ band, The Beatles, have been on top of the music world since 1963’s Please Please Me. Sixty years on from the band conception, and we are a world away from the place we were when they started. Through highs, fights, tragedies, and first-class albums, The Beatles have made the biggest mark on music history.

Fifty-one years since the original release of The Beatle’s 12th and final studio album, Let It Be (1970), Universal Music will be releasing the album alongside unreleased tracks and never-before-heard recordings. Gearing up for the expanded edition of this classic album unveiling “Get Back (Track 8)” ahead of its official release date to build anticipation. Alongside this single, stands previously dropped tracks “One After 909 – Take 3″, “I Me Mine – 1970 Glyn Johns Mix”, and “Across The Universe- 2021 Mix”. These are just a few of the 27 unreleased sessions on the album. Complete with John Lennon’s 14 songs Get Back LP. On top of that, it includes early takes on Abbey Road songs, “Something” and “Oh Darling!”, John Lennon’s practice solo for “Gimmie Some Truth”, and a loose play through of George Harrison classic “All Things Must Pass”.

Similar to that of the Abbey Road Anniversary re-release, Let It Be will be available as a 5 CD or 6 LP collectors bundle out on October 15th. With a 59 song tracklist, we are in for a huge listen on this important special edition. In company with, Director Peter Jackson (Lord Of The Rings, Bad Taste) will release his 6-hour docuseries Get Back, filled with never-before-seen footage of the band recording the album. Set for release on thanksgiving on Disney+. This can be paired with documented photos in The Beatles: ‘Get Back’ book set for release in October.
