Download Festival is one of the UK’s most celebrated rock and metal events. The festival will take place from June 13 to 15, 2025, at Donington Park, Leicestershire. The festival promises a spectacular lineup featuring headliners such as Green Day, Sleep Token, and Korn, each making their debut as main-stage headliners at the event. The full lineup includes over 90 bands across the weekend, blending legendary acts with rising stars. Notable performers will include Weezer, Bullet for My Valentine, Jimmy Eat World, and Sex Pistols.

Tickets are already on sale. Pricing for weekend camping packages begins at £325​. If you’re a fan of rock and metal, this promises to be an unforgettable weekend filled with high-energy performances and iconic moments.

Glastonbury Festival:
Glastonbury Festival 2025 is scheduled to take place from June 25 to June 29 at its iconic location, Worthy Farm in Pilton, Somerset. Tickets for the event sold out rapidly in November 2024, though a resale is planned for April 2025. Standard tickets cost £378.50 (including fees), and attendees are required to pre-register as part of anti-touting measures.

The first confirmed act is Sir Rod Stewart, who will perform the coveted Sunday Legends Slot, following in the footsteps of icons like Diana Ross and Dolly Parton. Other lineup details are yet to be officially announced, with the full schedule expected in March 2025. Historically, the festival includes an eclectic mix of top-tier headliners, emerging talent, and diverse genres spread across numerous stages.

Isle of Wight Festival:
The Isle of Wight Festival 2025 will take place from June 19 to June 22, 2025, featuring a stellar lineup of artists spanning multiple genres. Headlining the Main Stage are Sting on Friday, Stereophonics on Saturday, and Justin Timberlake on Sunday, promising unforgettable performances with their respective catalogs of classics and new hits. Additional major acts include Faithless, The Script, Jess Glynne, Supergrass, and The Corrs, along with electronic hits from Clean Bandit and crowd favorites like Busted, Amy MacDonald, and Ella Eyre. Legendary acts such as James and Paul Heaton will also appear, with many more performers set to fill stages across the weekend.

The festival is known for its vibrant atmosphere, iconic legacy, and diverse lineup, making it one of the UK’s most anticipated summer events. Tickets are available now on Ticketmaster and the event is expected to sell out quickly. 

Reading & Leeds Festival:
The Reading and Leeds Festivals 2025 will take place from August 21 to August 24, featuring a star-studded lineup at Reading’s Richfield Avenue and Leeds’ Bramham Park. The dual festivals are known for their iconic mix of rock, indie, hip-hop, and electronic music.

• Hozier: Celebrating his first UK festival headline set in over a decade.
• Bring Me The Horizon: Promising an unforgettable show with tracks from their latest album.

The lineup also includes popular artists and bands like Becky Hill, AJ Tracey, Soft Play, Trippie Redd, Pale Waves, Sea Girls, and Wallows, among others. With over 40 acts already announced and more to come, it promises to be a diverse and exciting event.

Latitude Festival:
The Latitude Festival 2025 will take place from July 24 to July 27 at Henham Park in Suffolk. As always, the festival promises a diverse lineup, blending music with theater, comedy, poetry, and more. Recent additions to the lineup include Elbow, who will return to the festival for the first time since 2012, alongside Clean Bandit, Maribou State, and Sigrid. Already confirmed for 2025 are major acts like Sting, Snow Patrol, Fatboy Slim, and Basement Jaxx, with more performers set to be announced​.

Tickets are currently available, and with a variety of entertainment across multiple genres, Latitude 2025 looks to continue its tradition of offering a rich and diverse festival experience​. 

All Points East:
All Points East Festival 2025, held in London’s Victoria Park, will take place from August 22 to August 24. The festival has already announced some exciting headliners, such as the British singer-songwriter and BRIT Award winner, Raye. Raye will be supported by Tyla, Doechii, and Jade. 

 The opening day, Friday, will feature Barry Can’t Swim, a DJ and producer known for blending genres like house, jazz, and Afrobeat. He’ll be supported by acts like Confidence Man, Shygirl, and Marlon Hoffstadt. Finally, on Sunday, The Maccabees will reunite for their first live performance in eight years, coinciding with the 10th anniversary of their final album. They will also curate the day’s lineup, which will feature artists like Bombay Bicycle Club and Dry Cleaning​. 

More acts are expected to be revealed as the festival approaches and tickets are available here.

The group shared via social media that frontman James Dean Bradfield had unfortunately contracted the virus and that they would not be performing on Sunday 12th June 2022. A full statement consisting of an apology to fans and a full explanation was shared via a social media post.

The cancelled show was to be the band’s debut performance at the venue and was part of the band’s series of summer shows, this season will also see the “A Design for Life” hitmakers perform across various festivals and live events. Fans will get a chance to catch the Welsh rockers at this year’s Latitude Festival, the band will perform on 24th July 2022 at Suffolk’s most popular event. The four-day festival is set to kick off this year on 21st July 2022 and boasts a star-studded roster headlined by Lewis Capaldi, Foals and Snow Patrol, also performing at Henham Park are Groove Armada, Rina Sawayama and Modest Mouse.

The Manic Street Preacher’s second festival appearance of the season will take place on 29th July 2022 at Y Not Festival, the Derbyshire held event celebrates its eighth year in 2022 and kicks off on 29^th July 2022. The band are scheduled to headline the three-day event on Friday and will be joined by Stereophonics as the main acts, also billed to headline the event are Courteeners, Nothing But Thieves, Blossoms and The Vaccines.

The group will conclude their festival run with a set at Lakefest on 13th August 2022, the Herefordshire held festival will be held on 11th-14th August 2022 and promises a unique family friendly experience. Manic Street Preachers will headline the event on Saturday, the festival’s third day will also feature performances from Reef, Louse Redknapp and The Reytons. The all-inclusive event will be held in a picturesque venue within Eastnor Castle Deer Park and features a star-studded line-up, also scheduled to headline the activity-packed event are UB40, Leftfield and British rockers Supergrass. Amongst the 190 acts and activities available to ticket-holders, Lakefest have also confirmed that The Red Devils, the parachute display team, will also be appearing at this year’s event.

The band have recently finished a run of live dates with American rockers The Killers, the Manic Street Preachers supported the “Mr Brightside” hitmakers during their UK stadium tour. Both bands last performed together on 1st June 2022 at Middlesbrough River Stadium, 53-year-old singer Bradfield has spoken on the tour, “It’s been great watching The Killers, watching a frontman like Brandon Flowers still wanting it that much. For me it’s inspiring. Being further down the road in your career, to get up and just go on stage and just still want to absolutely own everything is quite inspiring – it is the secret of being in a band, you’ve still got to really want it.”

A new date for the Manic Street Preacher’s postponed show has yet to be announced, further details concerning the concert will be confirmed in due course.

The North American run of the Reunion Tour includes a slew of dates April to August – and makes stops in Atlanta, Washington D.C., Brooklyn, Seattle. Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan Registration is open now and closes Tuesday, March 8 at 12pm EST. Verified Fan Presale begins Thursday, March 10th at 12pm local time. $1 of every headline show ticket sold will be donated to The Mariposa Fund, fiscally sponsored by The West Fund, which helps pay for undocumented people trying to obtain reproductive health services, including abortion. The UK dates however come through a little more sporadically. With a handful of festival appearances at the likes of Glastonbury, and Latitude, the headline shows have seemingly been built around them. A date at London’s Brixton Academy comes in July after Latitude, whereas the Barrowlands night comes a month earlier just preceding Glastonbury. During the premiere of her latest radio show, amongst all the hype that had been generated regardless, Bridgers fans were treated to a haunting cover of Billie Eilish’s ‘when the party’s over’. Accompanied by a notably glum solo piano, and some sparse backing vocals, the cover takes Eilish’s track and does what every great cover does; maintain the original scope of the song while also adding a fundamentally unique and personal slant. The result is exactly how good as it sounds. Phoebe Bridgers taking on Billie Eilish. It’s great. With live music attempting to get up and running again, the fact that we’re still in the middle of a worldwide pandemic still can’t be ignored. As can be seen, this is something that’s already having an impact at Latitude, with two acts already dropping off this weekend’s bill. The other act pulling out is Fontaines D.C., which told fans that during routine testing, one of the band members tested positive for COVID-19. meaning the band and crew now have to self-isolate.

Headlining Latitude this weekend are The Chemical Brothers, Bastille, Bombay Bicycle Club and Wolf Alice, while Sheffield-based festival Tramlines will see The Streets, Royal Blood and Supergrass top the bill who replaced Richard Ashcroft as headliners. Ashcroft announced that he would be pulling out of his headline performance at the event as it is set to be part of the government’s Events Research Programme.

Data from the first stage of the ERP was published recently and confirmed that just 28 people who attended pilot events researching the impact of large-scale gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic tested positive for the virus.

However, on this day (July 15th), Latitude has delighted fans and confirmed new dates for their bigger and better 2021 comeback. Initially supposed to take place 15th-18th July 2020, Latitude 2021 will now commence between 22nd-25th July 2021. Henham Park, a hidden gem inside Suffolk’s beautiful woodlands, will remain as the location for Latitude’s 2021 installment.

With the likes of Stereophonics, Primal Scream, and Lana Del Rey headlining last year, fans can’t help but highly anticipate who the festival will pull out next year. Before it’s disappointing but completely necessary cancellation, big beat pioneers The Chemical Brothers, along with Britpop icon Liam Gallagher and rock trio Haim were meant to headline Latitude 2020. Other notable artists included Michael Kiwanuka, Snow Patrol, Charli XCX, and The Lumineers.

Although it is unconfirmed if Latitude’s 2020 acts will remain next year, thankfully fans won’t have to speculate the highly anticipated lineup much longer. Latitude also confirmed today that at 9:00 am on Friday 17th July the first batch of the 2021 lineup will be revealed. Tickets for Latitude 2021 will be available for purchase at 9:00 am, Monday 20th July.

Latitude announced the wonderful news on their official website today with the following statement: “This time, the festival takes place during the school holidays, so you can bring the whole family! Get ready for another wonderful weekend of music, arts, dance, theatre and so much more!” Latitude also released a promotional video in celebration of today’s announcement to its official YouTube Channel. Featuring shots of the woodland paradise and a flurry of fireworks, and festivities, the video evokes excitement from any British music festival lovers. 

Posting a high spirited clip of the festival, Latitude also took to Instagram to confirm the good news to their massive 48k following. Containing a heartfelt caption to fans, Latitude wrote“We’re already looking forward to being reunited with you again in Henham Park next year…We’re always better together”. Boasting over 4000 views and likes in a few short hours, the post has been met with a joyous reception from fans.

Offering a diverse mix of huge headline musical acts, stand up comedy, and dramatic theatre, Latitude is an immersive three days experience. Born in 2006, Latitude has delivered magic and memories to festival-goers across the country for over a decade. Beginning at a footfall of 15,000 people in its first year, Latitude 2019 welcomed over 40,000 festival-goers. With a sister event in the Longitude Festival, Latitude’s treasured reputation of offering an immersive woodland experience has made the festival grow year by year, and 2021 is set to be the best Latitude yet.

Scottish synth-pop band Chvrches are fresh off a national tour in support of their latest album, ‘Love is Dead‘, which got to number 7 in the UK last year. They will join other big names such as Loyle Carner, Tom Grennan and Sigrid playing at the Obelisk Arena this year.

Everything Everything, as a UK festival exclusive, have also been announced to play Latitude. The Manchester four-piece released their fourth album, ‘A Fever Dream‘ in August 2017 which peaked at number 5 in the UK. They will join Primal Scream and Slaves as headliners of the BBC Sounds Stage.

Other names that have been announced include the Scottish indie solo rock project of singer-songwriter Stina Tweeddale, Honeyblood, alternative rock band The Magic Gang, and British indie pop band Kero Kero Bonito.

The death of the young male, who has yet to be named publicly, has been described as been not suspicious and seemingly a result of an ‘isolated medical condition’.

The full statement from the festival’s organisers, given to BBC News, reads as follows “A 17-year-old male attending Latitude was airlifted to hospital on Saturday afternoon and died in the early hours of Sunday morning. The young male suffered from an isolated medical condition. The police are not treating this as suspicious.”

The teenager was treated by three air ambulance medics at the scene after becoming “acutely unwell”, stated the East Anglian Air Ambulance.
