A website carrying the same message has also appeared under Styles’ name. With no additional context it is hard to pinpoint the reasoning for this new content, but it seems the best is yet to come. Upon viewing the website, fans can then access a WhatsApp link that displays the same, ‘We Belong Together’ message. The chat opens a business message with HSHQ (Harry Styles HQ), following this fans are then required to enter their own contact information, further implying that an announcement is on the horizon.

Shortly after Christmas on December 27, Styles released a video to his YouTube channel. The almost 9-minute video consists of fans gathering for one of his shows and display their excitement for what is to come. The video is captioned, ‘Forever, Forever’ with no description or additional information. The video ends with the same heartfelt message, ‘We Belong Together’. How cryptic!

Styles’ last release was ‘Harry’s House’, the record came out in May of 2022 and was a global smash hit. The statement read, “It is with deep sadness that we as a family regret to inform you that Matthew Kwasniewski-Kelvin has died after a long battle with his mental health”.

Raised with an instant musical passion, Kwasniewski-Kelvin began his guitar playing career all the way back in his childhood before going on to study at London’s BRIT school. This is exactly where he met and became good friends with his soon-to-be Black Midi bandmates.

Black Midi were a London-based English rock band, formed in 2017, and rapidly established themselves as the most exciting new voices in the British music scene.

Their most recent and prevalent lineup consists of lead vocalist, Geordie Greep, Cameron Picton, Morgan Simpson and Matt Kwasniewski-Kelvin. The band released their debut album, ‘Schlagenheim’, in 2019 and it was then that they started to develop a following in London. The band continued to release experimental, cut-throat records; ‘Schlagenheim’ was followed by ‘Cavalcade’ in 2021 and ‘Hellfire’ in 2022. Despite their growing success with each album release, Kwasniewski-Kelvin had taken a step back from his otherworldly guitar playing to focus on his mental health in January of 2021. His absence was deeply felt by fans who only wished him the best, hoping that he would feel well enough to one day return.

Black Midi began debuting their first live performances in 2017, rather rapidly Kwasniewski-Kelvin’s guitar work stood out. He rejected the typical guitar playing fashion and embraced a more jagged and distorted approach, favouring unsettling rhythmic patterns. This is noticeable in particular tracks from the band’s debut album, ‘Schlagenheim,’ including that of ‘953’, ‘Near DT MI’. The album itself received a Mercury Prize nomination, which cemented Black Midi as a new band not to be messed with, and the key contributor to their raunchy, solidified identity was Kwasniewski-Kelvin.

Countless tributes have surfaced from fellow musicians, dedicated fans and Rough Trade followers recognising how great of a loss this is. Kwasniewski-Kelvin undoubtedly held a great influence of the modern experimental music genre. His brilliant guitar work influenced thousands of listeners and changed the lives of many. Despite his loss it is no doubt his music will continue to touch the souls of many, his DNA forever embedded in the band’s music, and his presence lives on throughout their records.

A widely successful album led to an even more successful tour (if possible). The tour occurred between September 2024 and concluded November 2025. In Sydney, the notorious tour reset the record for the most attendees at a single concert event. This record was previously held by none other than Justin Timberlake at 20,839 attendees however Eilish’s record breaking show racked up a staggering 21,001 attendees. The tour spanned 106 shows over six continents and not a single dry eye was in the audience at each show.

Don’t fret! if you were unable to attend the full stage production in person, it is now set to come to the big screen, directed by none over than James Cameron and Eilish herself. The Oscar winning director has worked on some of the most celebrated films of all time including Titanic and Avatar.

Eilish released the trailer for ‘Hit Me Hard And Soft: The Tour (Live in 3D)’ and the trailer alone has some spectacular shots. The film is set to redefine concert recordings with new cutting-edge technology that’s never before been used to capture the true concert experiences. This goes beyond typical concert recordings, with a narrative pull, song performances and emotional tugs, for Billie Eilish fans it is worth the cinema trip.

“No one’s shot a concert film on this scale before” states Cameron in a clip used in the trailer. This is guaranteed to be a blockbuster of a tour film, especially in the hands of such a trustworthy, fabled director.

The trailer shared some exclusive scenes to build excitement. Eilish can be seen interacting with hardcore fans camping out for her shows, clips are used from her dramatic, lively onstage performances, her loving family are seen cheering her on particularly her brother Finneas. Eilish’s brother has had a huge hand in her stardom, and she shares her vulnerability at the fact this is her first tour without him by her side all the way.

A keen eye for creative work behind the lens, Eilish is no stranger to directing. She has famously directed a large bulk of her music videos and always performs her own stunts. Wether that be placing live spiders in her mouth, diving underwater for the perfect shot or rapidly rotating in a chair, she’s not afraid to get her hands dirty for the soul of her ambition.

A deep dive into both the psychological and physical toll that a tour this extreme can have on an individual, it will be interesting to peel back the curtain and take a look into what this truly does to someone’s mind.

The film is set to hit global theatres on March 20 2026 and will take fans along the wild ride of the Hit Me Hard And Soft tour.

Smith helped curate a lineup of legendary artists to support the well-loved charitable music event at the Royal Albert Hall, alongside the musical performances, a set of comedians are also planning to take the stage.

The show is set to take place from the 23 to 29 March 2026 and will celebrate the 150th Teenage Cancer Trust show.

In early 2025 it was unveiled that Smith stepped up as curator for the event taking the spot of The Who frontman, Roger Daltrey. The Cure have been lifelong supporters of the Teenage Cancer Trust partaking in the heroic fundraising gigs themselves.

The Teenage Cancer Trust is a vital organisation, providing specialist nursing care and support for anyone diagnosed with cancer between the ages of 13-24. They aim to fund nurses, youth workers and hospital units within the NHS ensuring those struggling and their loves ones are not doing so alone. They sole goal is to improve the lives of young people tackling an unimaginable pain.

The event kicks off with a night of comedy on Tuesday March 24 The night is expected to be full of laughs with some brilliant comedians making an appearance, faces available on the bill are:

Finally, once the weekend hits, to close off this stellar week, Saturday’s lineup has headliner Garbage and Placebo, once again stripped back. The week ends with a bang as for the curtain call Wolf Alice and Nilüfer Yanya will end the feisty run of shows.

This new lineup is a fresh creative direction and displays the exact music taste anyone would expect Smith to hold. The diversity among the acts will draw in a wide range of supporters once again aiding an all so important charity, boosting the fundraisers awareness. The addition of a comedy night also provides a light through the darkness that is this deadly disease, hopefully forming smiles across onlookers faces. Fans are suspected to travel far to witness their favourite indie and rock bands perform exclusive sets in such a legendary venue.

The Cure legend has hand picked comedians he deems his favourites, and his array of music artists is nothing less of impeccable. The week is definitely going to be one that is hard to top for future lineups, but of course it is all going to an incredible cause that will benefit the lives of many.

Her renowned show, Annie Nightingale Presents, showcased her passion for dance music, featuring the most impactful bass-driven tracks. In her latest broadcast on 9 January, she delighted listeners with songs from Deadmau5, as well as captivating remixes of tracks by AJ Tracey, Jorja Smith, and the talented US rapper Ice Spice.

BBC director general Tim Davie expressed his admiration for Nightingale’s exceptional talent and dedication. He said, “a uniquely gifted broadcaster who blessed us with her love of music and passion for journalism, for over 50 years. As well as being a trailblazer for new music, she was a champion for female broadcasters, supporting and encouraging other women to enter the industry.”

Aled Haydn Jones, the head of BBC Radio 1, expressed deep sorrow over the departure of Nightingale, Aled said, “Annie was a world class DJ, broadcaster and journalist, and throughout her entire career was a champion of new music and new artists. He added, “She was the first female DJ on Radio 1 and over her 50 years on the station was a pioneer for women in the industry and in dance music. We have lost a broadcasting legend and, thanks to Annie, things will never be the same.”

Nightingale was born in Middlesex on April 1, 1940. Initially, she worked in television and newspapers before becoming the host of the popular 1960s TV show That’s for Me. Alongside her television career, she also managed a chain of fashion shops and pursued modeling. In the late 1960s, she was inspired by the rise of pop pirate radio and actively campaigned for a position at the BBC’s newly established Radio 1, which, at the time, did not allow female presenters.

She became the only female DJ at the station for 12 years until Janice Long joined in 1982. During this time, Nightingale moved to an evening time slot, giving her more freedom in selecting the music she played. She hosted various music and discussion shows on the station and became a co-host on The Old Grey Whistle Test in 1978 after Bob Harris left. Notably, she led an episode of the show that aired after the tragic murder of John Lennon.  

In a surprising turn of events, Lynks recently staged their own ‘funeral’ at The Social, a popular venue in Central London. The event featured tongue-in-cheek eulogies from various musical friends, adding an element of humor to the occasion. However, the real surprise came when Lynks revealed that they will be releasing their first full-length album.

‘Abomination’ will be released via Heavenly Recordings, and fans can already pre-order the album. This long-awaited release promises to showcase Lynks’ talent and creativity in full force. Additionally, Lynks has also released a new single titled ‘CPR’. This catchy track takes inspiration from the pop sounds of the mid-2000s, reminiscent of artists like Kelis, Missy Elliot, and Fergie.

Accompanied by visually striking and surreal imagery, ‘CPR’ is a testament to Lynks’ artistic vision. Lynks said, “There’s this temptation to shrink yourself and make yourself seem all helpless and vulnerable with those guys, so they get to feel like some Big Strong Man protecting you. CPR felt like the perfect metaphor for that weird dynamic.”

He added, “I first had the idea for ‘CPR’ while doing a first-aid course at my old job. I was mid-chest compression on my dummy, and suddenly the chorus just came into my head over the rhythm of my hands on the doll. I quickly ran to the toilet to do a voicenote, then got back to saving imaginary lives…”

The album explores various themes, with one of the standout tracks dissecting the concept of men with savior complexes. Lynks’ ability to blend humor and thought-provoking ideas is evident throughout the album. The ‘funeral’ performance concluded with an energetic and surprise-filled set, leaving the audience in awe.

Lynks expresses their growth and evolution as an artist, stating that this album allows them to explore different concepts and ideas beyond just humor. While their earlier work focused on creating hilarious concepts, ‘Abomination’ delves into a wider range of emotions and themes. He said, “Early on I was like, ‘Well, every song needs to be a hilarious concept.’ Whereas this album, there’s quite a few of those, but there’s also songs that aren’t necessarily funny, or they’re exploring an idea rather than being really specific.” 

With the release of ‘Abomination’ and the success of their latest single “(What Did You Expect From) Sex from a Stranger”, Lynks continues to establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the music industry. Fans can expect a unique and captivating experience when they delve into the world of Lynks’ debut album.

James told fans “I did not know how serious my condition was until I was refused an IV drip at my local Next health because I was suffering hypertension with a blood pressure reading of 190 / 115 mmHg. Apparently that’s quite serious. I ended up at the hospital later that night! Anyway, I’m still here, Alive and kicking! Cool story bro…”

For the past five years, the charity campaigners LadBaby have secured the coveted Christmas number one spot with their singles aimed at raising funds for food-related causes. However, this year they decided not to participate, leaving the title up for grabs. Out of the top 40 songs this week, a total of 33 were Christmas-themed, including popular tracks like Ariana Grande’s “Santa Tell Me” and Brenda Lee’s “Rockin’ Around The Christmas Tree.”

“Last Christmas” was written by George Michael in his childhood bedroom in February 1984. In an interview with Smash Hits in 1986, he confidently stated, “As far as I was concerned, it was a number one.” The inspiration for the song struck unexpectedly while the singer was spending time at his parents’ house in Hertfordshire. According to Andrew Ridgeley, Michael’s bandmate, “There was a footy match on the telly and he suddenly jumped up and disappeared upstairs where he had a little four-track studio. About an hour later, he came back and said, ‘Andy Andy, you’ve got to listen to this’. I rarely saw him as excited or as animated as that. And as soon as I heard it, it was so apparent that it had all the hallmarks of a Christmas classic. It was a jaw-dropping moment.”

The song was then recorded in August at London’s Advision Studios, which Michael adorned with Christmas decorations to create the right atmosphere. When the duo played the song for their families, Ridgeley recalled, “It claimed its first victim. One of my mother’s friends had a romance at Christmas, which is what the song is about. She got jilted and when she heard it, she burst into tears.”

As a seasoned performer with a dedicated fanbase, Alexander has achieved great success in the past decade with Years and Years, including five UK top ten singles and two number one albums. The band has also enjoyed popularity in Eurovision countries such as Belgium, Ireland, Germany, Denmark, the Netherlands, and Sweden.

Interestingly, Harrogate, Alexander’s hometown, previously hosted the Eurovision Song Contest in 1982, following the UK’s victory the year before with Bucks Fizz.

Sweden has been chosen as the host country for Eurovision 2024 following the victory of Swedish icon Loreen, who won this year’s competition with her catchy pop anthem “Tattoo.” This marks Loreen’s second Eurovision win, as she previously triumphed in 2012 with her song “Euphoria.” With this latest victory, Sweden is now tied with Ireland for the most Eurovision victories, with both countries having won the competition seven times. In contrast, the United Kingdom’s performance in Eurovision has been lackluster, with their last win dating back to 1997.

In recent years, Michael Rice and James Newman finished last in 2019 and 2021 respectively, while Mae Muller narrowly avoided the same fate this year thanks to German rock band Lord of the Lost. However, there was a glimmer of hope for the UK when Sam Ryder secured second place in Turin in 2022 with his pop-rock anthem “Spaceman.” Ryder, who is currently vying for the Christmas number one spot with his festive song “You’re Christmas To Me,” sent Alexander, the representative for Sweden, a message of good luck.

While the UK tends to send newer and lesser-known singers to Eurovision, other countries often send their biggest stars to the competition. For example, Italy was represented this year by Marco Mengoni, a highly successful balladeer with 70 platinum records to his name. In 2003, Russia put forward the globally successful pop duo Tatu, and Sweden’s Måns Zelmerlöw had three number one albums before winning Eurovision in 2015 with his song “Heroes;” However, with Olly Alexander well known for being part of  Years and Years, the UK are in a great position for seeing a winner in Olly.
