The first leg of the tour will see the band travelling around Ireland, kicking off everything in Dublin’s Bord Gáis’ ‘Energy Theatre’ on the May 17, followed by Belfast, before venturing over the mainland UK; Belfast, Wolverhampton, Manchester, and onwards, wrapping up the tour in Scotland’s capital city, Edinburgh on 9 June. The run includes two nights at London’s Royal Albert Hall, one of the most prestigious venues in the city.

This marks Kraftwerk’s first UK/Ireland tour since 2017, and forms an ongoing branch to their recent ‘Multimedia Tour’. The show thus far has included a combination of music, visuals and a kinetic stage design, creating an utterly immersive performance experience. Through the years, Kraftwerk’s concerts have continually grown into audi0-visual spectacles, increasingly incorporating video projections, lightings and synchronised visuals as an integral part of their live experience.

Still fore-fronted by their founding member Ralf Hütter, Kraftwerk continues to remain at the forefront of modern concert technology, utilising multimedia formatting as a means to curate a fully sensory events. Through this theatrical framework – their classic catalogue, with the likes of ‘Autoban’, ‘The Man-Machine’, ‘Computer World’ and beyond, will likely be revisited within this tour.

Tickets to this tour will open 10 October 2025, 9am. All details will be available through their official channels. The tour itself presents the first opportunity in almost a decade for UK audiences to see the band in a more sustained live format, rather than one-off festival appearances.

Both longtime fans and newcomers see’s this announcement as a chance to witness how a band whose influence underpins so much of modern electronic music still values live innovation. In an era when many acts scale back visual ambition for touring efficiency, Kraftwerk’s return feels like a statement: the fusion of technology and performance remains central to its sound, not just a stage effect.

The festival has an electrifying lineup of legendary artists. Headlining the event are pioneers of electronic music, Kraftwerk, who promise to deliver a mesmerising audiovisual performance, blending futuristic soundscapes and hypnotic beats with iconic tracks like ‘Autobahn’ and ‘The Model.’ Meanwhile, Billy Idol, with his legendary hits like ‘Rebel Yell’ and ‘White Wedding,’ will bring pure rock energy and nostalgia. Adding to the magic, the iconic Happy Mondays will bring their infectious Madchester grooves to the stage, delivering crowd-pleasers like ‘Step On’ and ‘Hallelujah’. Their blend of alternative rock, funk, and acid house will no doubt get people grooving. The festival is also offering more than just music. Forever Now is featuring The Echo Chamber, a unique stage dedicated to exploring the cultural movements and narratives behind the music. The stage has been curated by music journalist and musician John Robb and will host artist panels, interviews, and discussions which allow fans to feel connected to their favourite artists. The festival takes inspiration from its US counterpart, The Cruel World Festival, which has become a beloved gathering for fans of the genre in the US. Forever Now seeks to recreate that success in the UK, offering a platform that highlights the rich history of alternative music while also introducing new audiences to a range of acts.

Tickets for Forever Now go on presale on December 5, 2024. The general sale is set to be released on December 6, 2024. Tickets will include access to the festival’s main stages and activities and they are reported as a starting price of £85. VIP packages are also available, which offer enhanced experiences such as early entry and dedicated areas. Given the talk surrounding the lineup and the excitement of a sister festival, tickets are expected to sell out quickly.

The festival is set in Milton Keynes’ iconic National Bowl, and with two primary music stages, the event promises to attract fans from across the UK. Forever Now is destined to be a stop-off for anyone passionate about individuality and creativity.

Luke Huxham of Broadwick Live has given the following statement concerning the festival’s birthday, “We always wanted our 15th anniversary to be our best ever, and it was incredible to celebrate this milestone with so many people in our spiritual home of Victoria Park. Connecting the best artists in the world, both living icons and meteoric talent, with passionate audiences through the power of live music is why we love what we do.”

Over the years, All Points East’s Field Day has evolved into an event committed to Dance and electronic music. This year’s Field Day lineup further confirmed such a reputation when pioneering groups Chemical Brothers and Kraftwerk 3D took to the London stage. German masters of the electronic genre, Kraftwerk were first to take the stage at Victoria Park. Their Field Day show was one of the concluding performances of their 3D tour and saw the duo bring their unique brand of dance music and kaleidoscopic visuals to the capital. Their set included many of the group’s beloved hits including “Trans-Europe Express”, “The Model” and “Tour De France”.

Billed to close this year’s Field Day was The Chemical Brothers, the English dance-electronic outfit made sure to pull out all the stops within their set. Their headlining performance was packed with hit singles such as “Galvanise”, “Swoon” and “Star Guitar”. Speaking on the group’s set, CEO and Field Day organiser Gareth Cooper has stated, “That was bigger and better than anything London has seen or heard this year. The Chemical Brothers’ unmissable live set shows why no act has had a bigger impact in UK electronic music, both here and internationally. The Chemical Brothers really showed London how it’s done!”

During the day, those in attendance were treated to a long list of artists who performed across the six stages. Also billed to appear at yesterday’s event were Peggy Gou, Bklava, CICI, Daniel Avery, Eliza Rose, Erol Alkan, a DJ set by Fjaak, Floating Points, Emerald B2B Jossy Mitsu, Helena Star, Kareem Ali, Logic 1000, Luxe and Mary Anne Hobbs.

At the moment, we aren’t sure how much more is to be announced for the festival, but as it stands; Day 1 on Friday 19^th August starts the festival off strong with IDLES returning for the second time in support of their new album “CRAWLER”, Pusha T joins with his only known UK appearance, and Yves Tumour and it’s Band, before Damon Albarn’s virtual band Gorillaz round out the evening.

Saturday 20^th will present Field Day, for the second time, since the festivals merged last year. Kraftwerk will return after their 2020 show was cancelled; they will headline the festival alongside The Chemical Brothers. Floating Points represents Manchester’s dance scene while Logic1000 keeps the party local.

Thursday 25^th will be headlined by Tame Impala. Other highlights come from London’s own post-punk outfit Dry Cleaning after the success of their recent debut album, the experimental Swedish group Goat only add the energy.

Friday 26^th will feature previous headliners The National, their second time on the top of the bill since the festival’s debut. They will be joined by, arguably, Melbourne’s greatest musical export King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, alongside the likes of Fleet Foxes, Low, and Perfume Genius.

Saturday 27^th sees the festival kick back into party mode with Disclosure closing an exciting evening with support from James Blake touring his most recent critically acclaimed album “Friends That Break your Heart”, as well as the always on-point Freddie Gibbs, Channel Tres, and Sherelle.

Sunday 28^th welcomes Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds back to close the final night of the festival. Nick Cave will be joined by 2020 Mercury Prize winner Michael Kiwanuka. Nottingham punks Sleaford Mods will also be attending the festival, contrasting the sweet sounds of Japanese Breakfast earlier in the day.

The DJ has been very busy this year; this livestream is one of many she’s done this year, playing sets throughout April, and her most recent livestream on 1 May from her balcony. She also released a new album, ‘Auraa Rmxs 1′ back in March. These remixed four songs from her 2020 album ‘Auraa’. And her reasoning behind creating these pieces is something we can all relate to: frustration with COVID. As the BPitch founder chatted with Limited Clubbing, she shared her inspiration: “On AurAA many of the tracks are about the world we live in and things that are more important to me… vibes. Energies we feel and the feeling of living with covid.” In spite of all of the restrictions, Allien has continued to share her music with the world virtually, and will soon be able to do so in-person.

Her tour will start in Moscow on 12 June and end at the Riverside Festival in Glasgow on 5 September, making stops in The Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, and Croatia along the way. You can purchase tickets on her website here, and find the list of dates below.

Over recent years, the iconic act have performed a number of their classic albums in full, with a simultaneous 3D shows projected with them, which are described as “multi-media presentations.”

So impressive are these shows, that footage taken from Kraftwerk’s performances have been exhibited in contemporary art museums the world over. Now, the band have confirmed that they will release some of these performances as part of a new live album, titled 3D The Catalogue.

The release will feature full footage of the group performing classic albums like Tour De France, Autobahn, and Technopop, as well as a full anthology of five other of Kraftwekr’s finest albums (Radioactivity, Trans Europe Express, The Man-Machine, Computer World, and The Mix). The collection will also be released in Blu-ray, with a 228 page booklet accompanying it, for the band’s most die-hard fans. There will also be a shortened release, containing the highlights cut from the eight concerts, which will all be released on May 26.

The release of this anthology is in tandem with Kraftwerk’s return to British and Irish shores, as they prepare for a 17 date tour, beginning in Dublin on 2 June, before concluding with three nights at London’s legendary Albert Hall,  from June 21-23. You can see the full lists of dates below.

Launched as far back as 1983, the annual event honours artists considered to be crucial contributors to alternative music and culture. Bands and artists become eligible for induction once 25 years has passed since the release of their first record. Ballots are then sent to over six hundred musical historians, industry members, and artists themselves- including every living member already inducted.

The Hall of Fame’s five final inductees will be announced in December. Last year the five inductees were NWA, Cheap Trick, Chicago, Deep Purple and Steve Miller, the full longlist is shown below:

NWA’s induction last year was a sore point for KISS frontman Gene Simmons, who questioned the legitimacy of Hip-Hop in Rolling Stone, going as far as to suggest that he was “looking forward to the death of rap,” dismissing it as a trend, and even predicting its demise. “Rap will die. Next year, 10 years from now, at some point, and then something else will come along.”

As pioneers of the genre, NWA took this personally, and fired back during their Hall of Fame induction speech, with MC Ren calling out the KISS man directly:” I want to say to Mr. Gene Simmons that hip-hop is here forever. We’re supposed to be here.”

Simmons, himself a member of the Hall of Fame, chose to ignore the democratic nature of NWA’s induction, and took to Twitter to respond.

Simmons also ignored other rap-based inductees Run-D.M.C, Grandmaster Flash, Beastie Boys, and Public Enemy in his criticism of the band.

One year on from this ordeal and another Hip-Hop icon is up for nomination, this time in form Tupac Shakur. It is well worth noting that NWA were voted into the Hall of Fame in the first year in which they were eligible, 25 years on from their debut album Straight Outta Compton, which bodes well for 2pac too, as it is his first eligible year.

Kraftwerk (translated as Power station) were formed in Dusseldorf in 1969. Kraftwerk progressed through the so-called Krautrock scene throughout the 1970s releasing their eponymous debut Kraftwerk in 1970. Commercial success came from their fourth album Autobahn in 1974.
