Kacey Musgraves, is hitting the road this October in support of her fourth studio album ‘Golden Hour’, which was released on the 30th of March 2018. Musgraves has announced a run of UK and Ireland gigs as part of her upcoming Oh, What A World tour. Musgraves will be kicking off at Bristol’s Hippodrome on Tuesday the 23rd of October, and she is scheduled to conclude the tour at Dublin’s Olympia Theatre, on Tuesday the 6th of November 2018.

This comes after Musgraves’ headline performance at London’s O2 Arena for C2C: Country to Country. Kicking off at Bristol’s Hippodrome, she’ll also perform at York’s Barbican and Nottingham Concert Hall, before a massive headline show at the SSE Arena Wembley on Saturday the 27th of October. The tour, which finishes with shows in Belfast and Dublin, will also see Musgraves perform in Birmingham, Manchester, Gateshead, Glasgow and Liverpool.

Speaking about her new album ‘Golden Hour’, Musgraves, said: “It’s about to be a little nutty, but it’s all good ‘cause I’m just really excited and ready for the songs to finally come out. But, I was thinking about it last night and I was like, ‘Man, there’s kind of a sadness attached to releasing a project.’ I guess, the finality of it, being like, ‘Well, there’s nothing left to do on this.’ You know, you spend a year, a year and a half making it and making memories and hanging out with the people you made it with, and, well, then it’s over. Obviously, it’s more happy than sad, but it’s just like, ‘Oh man, it’s crazy, that came and went really fast.'”

The Texas native has garnered huge critical acclaim since the release of her debut album, ‘Same Trailer Different Park’, including two Grammys at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards (Song of the Year-“Merry Go Round,” Best Country Album) and 2014 ACM Album of the Year. On the 29th of August, Musgraves announced via Facebook that she was nominated for the Country Music Association’s (CMA) Album of Year and Female Vocalist of the Year.

In a statement released on Facebook, Musgraves, said: “Man. It’s difficult to relay just what the songs on this record and its chapter really mean to me. Big thanks to my co-pilots Daniel Tashian and Ian Fitchuk for jumping in and patiently floating with me as we found inspiration. And thanks to the CMA Country Music Association and however this happened..!”
