Curley put out his first single ‘Alice’ just last year, and the song currently has over 8 million streams. In the time since, he has shared ‘Wait For Me’, ‘Tomorrow’, and ‘Down’, all of which appear on the EP. The artist shared some insight into each song in an interview with Dork magazine.

The music video for title track ‘Tomorrow’ was shared on 22nd April and has 40,00 views. It depicts the song topic perfectly – as Curley puts it “Have you ever wanted to break up with someone but as the time came to do it, you have bottled it? I definitely have, and I wrote a song about it, it’s called ‘Tomorrow’ a song basically stating that I won’t tell you today, I’ll tell you tomorrow!”

‘Down’ is a track which fans had never heard before; it has gained almost 300,000 plays on Spotify in only a few days. Curley said “it’s about breaking up with someone but remaining friends and that not really working, confusing messages.” He also performed the song for a session with Mahogany which has 3,000 views.

Although the singer-songwriter is sadly unable to celebrate his EP release due to the Covid-19 pandemic, he ran a livestream on 3rd May to perform songs and chat to fans. Additionally, he was a part of live show run by United We Stream in April in support of UK music venues which are losing business due to coronavirus. He said of the event “genuinely means a lot for me to be able to play in my hometown and for you guys even though we’re locked in.”

After his first release ‘Alice’, Jack Curley played at festivals across Europe and signed to record label Parlaphone in October 2019. In 2020, he has many shows planned, both as the headline and as support to Kim Churchill, Kelvin Jones and Jennifer Kae.
