The new acts include UK based Bessie Turner, Blanco White and Free Love, who join a line up already including Mac De Marco and Shame in heading to downtown Rejkavic this and braving the ice this November. A full playlist of artists playing is provided below.

Speaking about the festival head of marketing Will Lanchard-Jones said “For 2019, Iceland Airwaves returns to the ‘heart’ of the festival: shining light on Iceland’s stars and the world’s best emerging talent – all within the friendly atmosphere of downtown Reykjavik”

Travel packages for the festival are currently available, costing from £278 from the UK. The Iceland Airwaves website advertises these as “Founding sponsor Icelandair offer extremely handy travel packages that include a flight, festival pass and an optional hotel as well. The festival last year received praise and respect across the globe, not just for it’s incredible line up and unique environment but also due to its representation and diversity policy. The festival prides itself on targeting a line up of 50% female artists and bookings.
