The event will occur just days after the groups release of ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose – Live At Brixton’, a live version of their acclaimed debut album. Hosted at London’s Konk Studios, where the group first recorded the debut works in 2009, the livestream will feature the album being played in full by the band. Pre-orders of the live album will come with admission to the performance, but fans can also purchase a separate ticket for £5.50.

In a press statement, the group seemed eager to relive the magic of their debut, speaking of the livestream with an unprecedented passion. “We’re looking forward to revisiting this album in a special one-off performance and then we’re entirely focused on new music which we hope to get to you next year.” The band also spoke of their Brixton gig which will serve as the backdrop to their live album, seemingly equally sentimental. “This was a particularly special night for us in any case – seriously a show that we’ll all remember forever,” the group stated. “…especially considering what’s happened since, we’re grateful we have a memory like this to keep us all going until live music can resume.”

The release of ‘I Had The Blues But I Shook Them Loose – Live At Brixton’ follows the group’s January release ‘Everything Else Has Gone Wrong’, their first album in almost six years. The group’s live album will be released on the 11th December via Mmm… Records and Caroline International, and will also be available as a double LP, which will contain a copy of both the debut, and the live record. The release is in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the original album, which first dropped on 3rd July 2009.
