The game was played on the 2nd of June at Manchester United’s 76,000 seater stadium finishing 4-0 to the winning team with the highlights due to be released on GAFFERs YouTube channel.

The event saw Hackney Wick FC, a team made up of Rappers Headies One, Dave, Jay1, Avelino and Big Zuu, go up against Play Dirty FC captained by Playdirtys Krept and Konan with Uk artists Aitch and Osh taking the field for the Rap duos team.

The match was put on with the goal of elevating modern communities beyond the pitch with the two teams supporting charities of their choice with £5,000 donated in total.

Krept and Konan captained the winning side and have had a week for the history books, having starred in this game as well as being set to release the Official England Euros anthem alongside an exclusive BBC film titled ‘We are England’.

GAFFER are a magazine that focuses on bringing together football with music, having featured some of the biggest footballing stars including; Vinicus Jr, Neymar Jr, Memphis Depay and Joao Felix. As well as these galacticos of the game the Biggest artist in the UK such as M1llionz and Krept and Konan both have both featured as Digital covers on the fairly new publication.
