Having spent his career writing the mega-mix of rock party anthems, Andrew is back to deliver us with more quality tracks. “Party Hard” was the soundtrack of the early 2000’s club scene, with I Get Wet (2001) standing the test of time as one of the most quintessential l albums in anyone’s house party playlist. Spreading his wings on further albums, The Wolf (2003), 55 Cadillac (2009), to name a few, he has earned his title as God of partying with much success.

The long-awaited return is finally upon us, after A.W.K’s last album You’re Not Alone (2018), there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Now, nearly 20 years after chart-topping I Get Wet, Andrew W.K. is ready to gift us his legendary return. His new album, and fifth full-length album, God is Partying, is out via Napalm Records this Friday (10th September). After singles “Babalon”, “I’m in Heaven”, and “Everybody Sins”, he has one more gift up his sleeve.


Ahead of the release Andrew W.K. has dropped one last single. “Stay True to Your Heart” displays one of the best choruses of his career. “The song is meant to analyse me” Andrew described the song. Andrew W.K. continues: “Being true to yourself isn’t the same as staying true to your heart. They told me all about this when I started forming.”. If this song is anything to go off, the album will be unparalleled in its party ability. This is a standout track that is drenched in exactly what makes Andrew well, Andrew. Encompassing exactly what the title sets out to achieve.

God Is Partying sees Andrew W.K. making his mark on the current music scene. Is set to release this Friday. Performing all of the albums inurement’s himself, with help from co-producer, Grammy award-winning, and writing partner, Ted Young.
