The livestream will be broadcast from Deutsche Telekom headquarters in Germany on June 1^st, and will see Eilish and her brother and long-time songwriting/producing partner Finneas performing tracks from Eilish’s widely adored new album Happier Than Ever, as well as her 2019 debut full-length record When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?

According to NME, Ulrich Klenke, the Chief Brand officer at Deutsche Telekom, said: “In collaborating with Billie we have been given the opportunity to create an evening of optimism with one of the most inspiring talents of our generation.”

Speaking of the event in a social media post, Telekom stated: Straight from the Met Gala to our living room in Bonn: @billieeilish will be performing a special and intimate first European live show at the Telekom Forum prior to embarking on the European stretch of her HAPPIER THAN EVER WORLD TOUR! On the 1st of June, she is set to play a special stripped-down show for us together with her brother @finneas . You can see the full post down below, which features a short video from Eilish.

Tickets are not for sale, however European fans will be able to win the chance to attend the show in person through a number of local contests. Excluding those lucky few who will be able to witness the show in person, the livestream will be broadcast via MagentaTV, MagentaMusik and for any avid TikTok users, will also be streamed via Telekom Electronic Beats TikTok account.

On May 3^rd, Eilish announced a six-day long event called “Overheated”, a climate change-focused event that will bring together artists and climate activists to discuss the climate crisis. The event will coincide with the UK leg of Eilish’s “Happier Than Ever” tour and will feature appearances from artists such as Yungblud, Girl In Red and more. The livestream event will take place less than a week before the release of their 6th studio album which will be available on January 15th. The Demise of Planet X follows the duo’s recent success with their first livestream event in September which was hosted in the basement of London’s 100 Club.

In a press release from Rough Trade Records, front-man Jason Williamson explains the decision to host a second livestream show, saying that after the livestream in September at the 100 Club, it was clear that the connection to the audience, although through a screen, was still as strong. We love playing. We love the songs we play. It’s never a problem to perform and after a year of not performing it’s a fucking joy to appear on your screens

The upcoming livestream will feature special previews of the songs off the upcoming Spare Ribs, as well as Sleaford Mods’ greatest hits. The concert will also include performances of their latest singles Shortcummings and the widely popular Mork N Mindy.

Sleaford Mods post-punk style gained them immense popularity throughout the UK, and their interest in politics has kept the duo relevant throughout their career. Recently the band released the music video for their hit Mork N Mindy, directed by Ben Wheatley and starring Billy Nomates, which was largely themed around the victims of the Covid-19 pandemic that has swept through the country and the world.

Rough Trade Records confirmed in a press release that Sleaford Mods’ upcoming album Spare Ribs will continue to be politically charged stating that on it, polemical frontman Jason Williamson and dexterous producer Andrew Fearn kick against the pricks with unrivaled bite, railing against hypocrisy, inequality and apathy with their inimitable, scabrous sense of humor.

Horan hopes to raise awareness of the many creative-industry workers that have seen their jobs vanish during the pandemic and then suffered without government financial help due to their freelance/self-employed titles. The bands Take That and All Time Low have hosted similar fundraising concerts in support of their crew-members during this difficult year.

Horan hopes to sell up to 70,000 virtual tickets, enough to pay his entire crew and  donate to the WeNeedCrew Relief Fund. The live concert will not be immediately available, if ever, on streaming platforms post-show in an attempt to be fair to fans who bought tickets for the exclusive experience.

The Royal Albert Hall live-stream concert will be Horan’s first attempt at live-performing songs from his latest full-length album Heartbreak Weather. The album was released March 13th, 2020 and has since reached #1 on the top album charts in the UK. His singles Nice To Meet Ya and Put a Little Love on Me climbing the charts in UK, United States, Australia and Asia at the beginning of the year.

Tickets went on sale for the virtual concert last Friday on October 16th and the event will be held next month November 7th, 2020. Tickets are still available on Ticketmaster and at this time will be the only way for fans to experience a live-show by Niall Horan because his 2020 ‘Nice To Meet Ya Tour’ was cancelled due to safety concerns surrounding the Covid-19 virus.
