The rapper from Catford, South east London cleared his Instagram and uploaded 3 new posts, the project cover, project trailer and tracklist.

The 14 track project is set to release on the 29th of October and will be released by the independent label 600eml. A label started in 2020 by the block 6 collective from Catford, with the label sharing the same numbering as Ghostface and a number of the block 6 members with parts of Catford sitting in the se6 postcode.

The project will only contain one feature from fellow block 6 member Jooka, on the bonus track “Litty”. Despite a lack of artist features with Ghostface often only choosing to work alongside his fellow block 6 members, the rapper has used a number of different producers throughout his project.  The 14 track project contains involvement from 13 different producers with Mazzabeats being the only producer to appear on the project twice.

600szn2 will be the 3rd project Ghostface has released since 2019. His first project 600szn was a project that saw Ghostface reflect on his life and his experiences and relationships. The stand out track was  “El Blocko” which sits on 340 thousand streams and hears the melodic rapper rap alongside fellow block 6 member young a6 as they reflect on the area they grew up in, Catford.

Ghostface followed up his debut project with Just a rapper wid melodies, this project saw Ghostface honing in on his melodic sound still performing over drill beats with his melodic take. His stand out track “Troubles” showed his melodic ability as well as showcasing Ghostfaces continued involvement in the streets while still working on his music.

600szn2 comes at a time where Ghostface is at his peak in terms of popularity with his last 4 singles sitting on a total of 3.5 million views in the last 6 months. His work and consistency has made him one of the most interesting artists in the UK rap scene. The rapper has become one of the better artists when it comes to using melodic flows and will hopefully produce at the same level as his previous singles.
