George Ezra has announced details for his spring 2019 UK headline tour. The 2019 tour will mark his largest UK tour, to date. The singer/song-writer is set to hit the road on Friday the 17th of August 2018 in Newmarket and is set to conclude his biggest UK tour on Tuesday the 19th of March in London.

Ezra, 25, is currently completing the summer festival circuit before retuning to the road in the winter for the start of his huge UK tour. Having announced even more gigs, the newly announced March dates will see him visit Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Brighton, Nottingham, Cardiff, Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham, and London in the new year. Tickets can be purchased here.

“We’re going on tour. And not just any tour, the biggest run of dates that I will have ever played, ending at the O2 in London (The Millennium Dome). Touring these new songs along with all of the first album has meant that the last year has been the most amazing twelve months imaginable, to all of you that have made a show so far, thank you. And to all of you that we will see next year, hold tight. Get practising those songs, polishing off your dancing shoes, let’s make it one to remember,” says Ezra.

The Hertford born singer, remains in the top five of the Official Albums Chart, 20 weeks after its release with his number one album ‘Staying At Tamara’s, which is officially the biggest selling album released so far this year, whilst his single ‘Shotgun’ became his first ever UK number one single in June.

This success come after, Ezra recently revealed he called a crisis meeting with his record company, last year after two of his singles flopped and failed to reach the same success his breakout hit ‘Budapest’ had, which launched him to stardom in 2014 reaching number three in the singles charts. His single ‘Don’t Matter Now’, controversially failed to reach the top 70’s, last year. Ezra told The Guardian that he thought his career might be over.
