In a post on their Instagram, the band wrote: “We’re very sorry to have to once again move our forthcoming UK tour dates, however, following last week’s government announcement we’re very excited to be able to reschedule these shows into August and September 2021. All of your tickets will remain valid for these new dates and we can’t wait to see & perform for you later this year x.”

The band released their third album, Foolish Loving Spaces, in January 2020, and were originally scheduled to tour in March 2020. They are due to be joined by support bands The Magic Gang, The Lathums, and Fever. The tour will be visiting Hull, Glasgow, Lincoln, Stoke-On-Trent, Birmingham, Cambridge, Leeds, Newcastle, London, Leicester, and Manchester. 

Blossoms is made up of lead vocalist Tom Ogden, bassist Charlie Salt, guitarist Josh Dewhurst, drummer Joe Donovan, and keys player Myles Kellock. The band, hailing from Stockport, formed in 2013, and they released their first single You Pulled a Gun on Me in January 2014. Their 2016 self-titled debut album reached number one in the UK Albums Chart and was nominated for the 2017 Mercury Music Prize. 

Despite the delayed tour, the band have kept themselves busy with various projects. In October 2020 the group released a double album called In Isolation/Live At The Plaza Theatre, Stockport. They played an interactive virtual concert at the O2 Academy Brixton in December, and in January 2021 Blossoms performed at a virtual charity festival called Music Feeds.
